2 A Hater's Transmigration

"Ugh... what the hell!"

-Thud!-

"Screw you Maylis! Why'd you hit me agai—?" I let my words trail off into an empty room. It's not just empty, though; it's like my life, but wait, this isn't even my room.

Rubbing my head, I got up. Did I seriously just trip from my bed?

"It ain't my bed…"

This bed's too posh for me. I don't recall owning something this extravagant, and my bed's definitely not this huge, adorned with red and gold colors. Where the heck am I?

I glanced around, and this place resembles a suite in a five-star hotel. I don't even have enough cash for the latest PlayStation, so what's going on?

As I shuffled around, I noticed an oddity in my steps. A weird gait, like I'm not used to this body.

Looking down, I found myself in blue pants, shirtless. "What the actual hell."

Touching my stomach, I felt barely any muscle. Where the hell are my abs? I worked my ass off for six months to get those!

Running my hands through my face and hair, things got weirder. Spotting a mirror, I walked over and faced my reflection.

A pale, malnourished face with messy blond hair and ice blue eyes stared back at me.

No.

This has to be a nightmare. I want my black hair back! My brown eyes! Give me back my damn abs! Was I abducted? Did they give me some face-changing surgery or what?

"Young Master…"

"...what?" I turned around to find a girl in a maid outfit.

The girl in the maid outfit stared at me in pure shock, her trembling hand covering her mouth in shock for some reason.

"Not bad the outfit, did you buy it in Japan? Then allow me to send you back to Japan, kidnapper!" I geared up to throw a punch, but I froze mid-motion when a hulking guy in armor materialized behind her, sharing the same expression of shock.

He towered over me, a stark contrast to my lanky build.

Change of plans.

Imma out!

Without a second thought, I bolted toward the open window, executed a quick jump, showcasing some high school parkour prowess that I have always been good at. Unfortunately, the landing was less than graceful. "Ugh!" I crashed onto the ground, hitting my knees in a pathetic display.

Thank God my annoying sister didn't witness that. Way too embarrassing!

This ain't even my body!

Surveying my surroundings, I found myself in a stunning garden. As tempting as it was to just lie down and sleep forever, that wasn't an option.

But before I could gather my wits, guards in armor started arriving one after the other, rushing towards me.

-Young Master!

-He is alive!

-Please stop!

"Who's the Young Master, morons! Just because I've got blond hair and blue eyes doesn't mean I'm a freaking Young Master!" I yelled, deftly dodging a grab from one of the guards.

Damn.

Am I really running half-naked in a garden? Not exactly the exhibitionist life I signed up for!

I'm already tired. What's up with this endurance?

And where the hell am I?

As I replayed everything that had just happened, only one conclusion came to mind. "...don't tell me I've been reincarnated in another world or something like that?"

But why?

I didn't even die!

Truck-kun didn't even welcome me!

"Stop, Young Master!" Finally, someone managed to grab me, and it was the tall guy from before.

"Hands off, Hulk!" I vaulted over his back and looped my arms around his neck in a chokehold. "Hold that!" Smirking, I summoned all the strength in my arms.

"C-Calm down!!"

-Thud!-

"Agh!"

Well, forget what I said about strength. There was none in my arms.

I gasped for breath, staring up at the dazzling sky.

"Young Master... what happened to you..." Hulk asked, his face twisted in confusion.

"Kuh! Kill me!"

"Y—Young Master?" He gawked at me, utterly dumbfounded.

Guess he doesn't have the reference.

"...do you know the story of the turtle and the lion?" I asked, catching my breath.

"No..." He looked at me oddly.

"Neither do I!" I plucked some grass and threw it in his face before darting between his legs. Extending my hand, I snagged one of the maids, wrapping my arms around her neck.

Hulk took a step forward, but I cut him off. "Hell no, Hero. Another step, and I twist her neck toward me."

"...young master...please..." The maid pleaded, glancing up at me fearfully.

"You're pulling the tears card, huh? No chances. My life before yours," I declared with a sneer.

"Enough, Jykrain."

What?

I looked at my arms. An icy hue was slowly creeping over them, freezing my arms and legs too.

Am I hallucinating?

The maid crouched down and scurried away from me.

I gazed ahead and saw a beautiful young woman, around my age back on Earth. She was the second most beautiful I had ever seen after who already?

Frowning, I observed her.

She had long navy blue hair and crystal blue eyes.

My heart raced at the sight, but not because I was falling in love, obviously.

I'm not a teenager, and I'm not that easy to impress.

But this shiver wasn't coming from me; it was more like an instinctive reaction to the body I was currently inhabiting.

Her face seemed oddly familiar, and I squinted, attempting to recall.

"Barin."

"Young Lady Starfrost," the hulking man addressed the girl.

Starfrost?

No way.

I glanced again at the girl. The description of her in that novel did match.

What the hell?!

I'm inside Maestro's novel!
