The Novel's Extra: Reader's Chance

I'm doing this fanfic because I want to train my writing, and when I was thinking about what to write I noticed that there are a few TNE fanfics, and I didn't like any of them, not that they're bad, but I didn't like it, because the mcs of them are always overpowers or have powers that don't fit in the world of TNE, I'll try as much as possible to make my fc not break the rules pre-established in the original novel. English is not my first language so feel free to correct me in the comments. The image above is not mine. If the owner doesn't want me to use it, you can tell me and I will change it.

Chapter 5. Day Two

Now that my syncronization is complete, let's get to the most important.

I ran towards the nearest mirror. Looking in the mirror I see a handsome young man with jet-black hair and eyes with a cocky smile.

"I finally have my face again, I think I'll just stare at myself until I get sick."

Looking at myself in the mirror I see something other than my bleary black eyes that stand out a lot, earring holes in my ear.

'This is from when I was a delinquent in high school.'

Damn, remembering that embarrasses me. I never had a good relationship with my family and so...

I am in a different world and in a new life. No reason to think about the past. Let's just continue what I was doing.

What was I even doing?

Oh yes... I was looking at myself in the mirror. Even though I have 8 charm I wouldn't say I'm as handsome as the main characters. They should be 9 or 10, with the exception of Kim Hajin and supporting characters like Kim Suho's friend and Shin Jonghak's lackeys.

Fine. They are characters created to be unrealistically beautiful.

I return my gaze to my cell phone screen and review my statuses. My variable stats are higher than the average adult male, except mana.

My perseverance is average, thinking objectively is not enough to get through all the challenges that await me in the future.

But I can get moral support from somebody, maybe some girls...

Don't judge me, I was 18 before I got here!

But what worries me is my luck.

[Luck - 2.905/10]

Is the average luck 4 or 5?

I was planning to rest for today, but apparently I'll have to go out to train in the afternoon. I have to put in a lot of effort in these 10 days if I want to build a solid foundation.

I'll have to work harder to make up for the bad luck.

Damn it. I had no idea that I would have such a headache at first.

I leave my blades on the couch and head straight for the training ground.

*

The next morning. I enter the room, this time without a hood. Although class hadn't started yet, I was arriving a little late, so most seats are already taken.

Looking for a place to sit, I find an empty seat in the farthest seats.

On my way there I pass Chae Nayun who was talking to a friend.

After sitting in my seat I observe the main characters. The first one I look at is Chae Nayun, as I already knew where she was sitting.

"Nayun, did you see that boy?"

"Hmm?"

"That cute boy who walked past us, he was looking at you as he passed, I think he fell in love with you. *Gaughs*."

Looking in Nayun's direction, my Gift has already taken effect. I could hear them talking something interesting.

"Oh ok..."

That was the answer that Nayun gave... I think heroines have a hard heart to reach.

"He's looking at us now, he's even smiling."

"He must be a weirdo, not much attention or else he'll get excited."

"Of course. Nayun-ssi has so many boys after her that she must be used to those looks by now."

*Sigh*

I don't know if this was due to my bad luck or if it's Nayun's own personality, but I was misunderstood.

At least I should get some SP with it.

After I let out a sigh, the teacher arrives and class begins.

When lunch time arrived, a group of students approached me to start a conversation.

The group was quite heterogeneous, consisting of 2 boys and 3 girls.

"Hi, I'm Baek Hyun. I don't remember you yesterday."

The first to speak was an Asian guy, who judging by his name must be Korean. He seems to have the most active role within the group. His appearance is average, but he is tall and strong, he seems to be a reliable figure.

"I'm Noah Lispector, I didn't come the first day because I was sick."

I made up an excuse without thinking too much.

"I thought anyone who didn't come on the first day was expelled... Well, would you like to have lunch with us?"

"Fine."

When I agreed to the invitation their faces lit up, except for one of the guys, it was so obvious he didn't want me in the group. This kind of situation is very cliché.

Does having bad luck turn me into a wuxia protagonist?

*

"Damn! It must have been hard for you to get into Cube."

We were already at a table in the cafeteria when I told them where I came from, I figured I would get that kind of response. The country I came from is underdeveloped in terms of heroes and equipment.

"You must have just been lucky. It's no surprise your rank is so low."

Whoever said that was, unsurprisingly, the guy who doesn't seem to like me. In fact my rank in Cube is low. Although in the military academy of agents my rank was high, it was because where I came from there weren't many talented people.

"Don't be like that Jun Seo, he sure tried hard."

The girl who defended me is called Marine. After she defends me from Jun Seo, he gets even more annoyed. Am I being dragged into extras romance?

I should have known that getting involved with others would only give me a headache...

========================================

When I started the fanfic I had no idea where it would go, so I didn't post for a while to think about it, and I have college exams these days so I won't write much.
