Entry Points - Part 4

The creature stepped back and returned to its pack.

[[ Zaya, Is this alright? ]] The one which wields a spear asks the dual disc weapon wielder.

[[ We came past the boundaries of the Shrine of Souls. We should head back, Nila. ]] Zaya replied.

The pack took their gazes away from the Rangers and they started to make their return.

"WHERE IS MY BROTHERRR ?!!!" Rana's eyes were red and he let out his rage with a stuttering scream. He fell to his knees and broke down into tears.

Rana's sudden outburst brought the Rangers back to their attention. Zaya proceeded to walk away. The pack seemingly ignored the cry and decided to follow their leader. The pack made their way deep into the forest and disappeared.

Rudra, still unable to come out of the shock, unable to comprehend what went down, placed his handgun back in the holster. He saw his fingers trembling and his hairs standing up. He took in a huge breath, picked up his rucksack from the ground. He stood in front of Rana.

"Sir, I don't have to tell you."

Rana stood up staring at the path the creatures went and adjusted his rifle on his back.

"Let's head back!"
