The Ninth Elixir

Crevyn is a student of the College of Mystic Arts with an affinity to animals, especially those with magical properties of their own. He is one of a chosen few to undertake a quest for the Ninth Elixir. The finder’s reward is to be claimed by one of the arcane Masters.<br><br>But Crevyn’s opponent is a man used to winning, who will use any means at his disposal to ensure he brings back the Ninth Elixir.<br><br>At the risk of losing to Garvit, Crevyn still take time to help those in need. But even if he’s successful in finding the elixir, the trick will be surviving the challenge.

Chapter 12

“Yes, thank you. But I’ll ensure Crevyn visits weekly.” Kano also bowed, then opened the cloak wide.“Hold tight to me.”

Without hesitation, Crevyn wrapped his arms around Kano’s neck, resting his head against a powerful shoulder and inhaling his mate’s sweet, musky scent. Kano’s tails curled tightly around him. A sensation of flying caused Crevyn to cling more tightly to Kano, but the experience only seemed to last for seconds before Kano whispered in his ear.

“We’re home.”

The tails loosened their hold and Kano stepped back as Crevyn let his arms drop to his sides. Kano’s home was surrounded by trees and foliage with a stream bubbling close by. Kano offered his hand.

“I’ll introduce you to my servants, then take you through our home.”

“Our home.” Crevyn repeated the words, then nodded. He was ready to meet his mate’s household.
