The three vampires—Caius, Micah, and Alexander—at the little girl's table smiled at her adorable response and reactions.

So cute.

When the four left the restaurant, Venera, who was carried by Caius, tugged lightly on the silver-haired man's shirt.

"Brother, let us go back to the castle," the little girl said. "Brother is the vampire king, so Brother probably still has a lot of things that need to be dealt with."

"I have done everything since we went out, so Vera does not have to worry," Caius said, patting the little girl's lustrous black hair.

"Really?" she asked.

"Really," he confirmed.

"Okay, then I will trust Brother," she said.

"Then I will make sure not to break Vera's trust," he said with a smile.

"Okay," the little girl agreed. "Then that is a promise!"

"Yes, a promise."
