Where am I

I opened my eyes slowly."ow" I said as I felt sharp rocks pock my open back. Wait, open? I looked at my paws, to find hands instead. My nails were outgrown had dirt under them. "What?" I asked confused. The headache throbbed at my now human head.

 I held it, thinking it would help. The cold air nipped at me, it was only then that I realized. I was naked. I yelpt out in surprise and quickly tried to cover myself. It didn't take long before I was surprised again.

 "my tails! " I said grabbing them. I still had them. I felt at my head to find two fox ears. I sighed in relief. "Wait, don't tell me I'm a fury," I said "Oh well, it is what it is." I stood up and looked around at my surroundings. "what happened here?" I asked.

 Before me, laid a battlefield. Corpses scattered everywhere. The stench was horrible. I held my nose closed. I noticed a cloak on the floor and quickly used it to cover myself. It was kinda hard with the nine tails I had but it worked. 

I carefully stepped on the jagged rocks with my bare feet. It seemed like I was in my sixteen-year-old body again. "over here!" I heard someone yell. I look behind me to find a group of men, but what caught my eye was the blond head of hair. Without thinking I ran in that direction.

"Naruto!" I yelled making the figure turn around. Only to find a confused stare. I walked closer. "Naruto? How long was I gone? Where's Orochimaru...?" I trail off, this person had a resemblance to Naruto but It wasn't him. There was still something familiar about him though.

"Who are you?" He asked while the rest of the figures stood on guard."And how do you know my Dad?" He asked. My eyes widen as I realize. I take a step back in surprise."Sir! Look she's one of them!" One of the men screamed pointing to my tails. "what?" I asked confused.

The men moved to catch me so I began to run. I ran into the woods trying to lose them. Jumping from tree to tree. What did they want? My breathing was ragged as I jumped to a stop. I looked behind me, They were still after me. 

I saw a cave and ran to hide inside of it. I tried to slow my breathing. I heard them pass by and decided to go deeper into the cave. what just happened? I went deeper into the cave. Hoping they wouldn't find me. I heard a crunch under my feet. 

I look down to see skeletons in shinobi clothes and a weapons bag. They seemed to be from the Leaf village. I bent down and got the clothes."I'm sorry but I need this more than you" I said and when I had everything in my arms.

I don't know what's happening. The last thing I remember was that we were fighting Orochimaru. Then I jumped and Orochimaru... Wait did Orochimaru do this? sent me to a new world? But then that guy, that was Baruto...

So I must be in the future or something. And what did they mean I was one of them? Are there more Ninetails? This is all very confusing. If only someone I knew was here. I walked back outside the cave when I had the clothes on. I don't know how I'm gonna hide these tails en ears. I thought to myself. 

"maybe I could..." I said out loud to myself and was cut off by a knife to my throat. "you could maybe what ?" Baruto asked standing from behind me. I teleported away from him onto a tree branch. How long into the future am I? he looks 20-years-old! I thought and was about to run but he just teleported to where I am and had the sword back at my throat again. 

"well shit," I said seeing there was nowhere to go. I could imagine the smirk on his face as I said those words.

Later~

Baruto had taken me back to their campsite. And I was now be interrogated by a woman with burn marks on her arms and neck. "Where is the location!?" She yelled and slammed her fist down on the table.

I flinched but answered. "What location? I don't know what you're talking about" I said extremely confused. "You can play dumb all you want. But I know what you are. You're just like them! You and those freaks! Monsters!"

"I don't know what you're talking about!" Yelled at her. " Really, I don't" I said and sighed, looking away from her." If you could just get Naruto, he'll be able to explain who I am" I pleaded looking back at her.

"Real funny. You already know what happened. Don't play dumb with me!" The woman said. " What do you mean? What happened?" I asked confused " Where's Naruto ?" I said.

"My dad's dead" Baruto said as he walked into the tent . "Sir" the woman greeted him. "What?… " I said "you're joking right ?  It can't be true" I said looking between their faces.

"Why would I joke about my own father's death?" He said squinting his eyes at me. I sunk into my seat, speechless. " I-I… how did he…?" I tumbled over my words." What happened?" I asked.

"You're master, Orochimaru, killed him." He said. I was at a loss of words. Tears on their own began to fall. My sobs began to fill the tent. They seemed surprised by my reaction.

"No no no no no no" I said shaking my head." This can't be happening" I clenched my fists tightly. "Naruto he can't be… he just can't be…" I trailed off and my sobs worsened.

"Hey you're not the one supposed be crying! He was our Hokage and HIS father. Who are you to mourn his death?!" The woman yelled getting close to my face.

"I was his friend! I loved him! I practically raised him since he was a young boy!" I yelled back at her. " How can I not mourn his death?" I bowed my head.

"That's impossible. Your kind was the reason for his death!" She said. " What kind?! I don't know anything you're talking about!" I yelled. "Every word you say is a lie. I should just-" she was cut off by  Baruto who crapped her hand which yelled a weapon.

"What are you doing?" She asked him shocked. "Wait, I want to hear what she has to say" he said " how did you know my father?" He asked. I wiped my tears away and took a deep breath before speaking. "I -"

( I know. Cliffhanger, very cliché. But I wanted some dramatic flare. I hoped you all enjoyed the chapter. It was a long wait, I know. Sorry about that. Happy new year though! I'll try my best to keep updating. Thanks again for all the support!(｡･ω･｡)ﾉ♡)
