The forest of death

I laid on Naruto's head, the exams had now begun. The written Exams were proctored by Iibki, as I expected. He had explained the Exams to everyone a few moments before. And everything was up to schedule.I looked around while listening to Naruto freak out. "Hey, hey it's going to be fine " I whispered into his ear. "Are you sure ?" He whispered back. " Of course just try your best " I whispered with a smile. He nodded and continued to stare down at the exam paper.I turned my head and saw Hinata stare at me. I replied silently by smiling and winking at her. Hinata seemed to relax and continued with the exam. I continued looking around feeling some stares from the foreign ninja. But I was used to it after all the years.I looked over at Sauske who now figured out that he had to cheat. He saw me but then afterward glanced back at his exam, writing things down. Sakura also was busy writing on the exam. She gave Kunime a wink when she saw her looking at her.I smiled but then turned towards Gara, who was too busy concentrating on his jutsu to notice. At that moment thought of the world I lived in before. I smiled softly remembering some of the Memories.The only thing I seemed to miss. Was well first my family and friends but also the Naruto intros. I had an urge to listen to them all again. Especially the one where Jiraya and Itachi die.I wasn't sure how I was going to meet Itachi. How was I supposed to do that with him being in the Atkutski? Maybe I would meet him when he tries to kidnap Naruto.I felt my tails sway around, they did that a lot like Kurma's did. I wondered if I would ever meet him. I could imagine his face. Or what about the eight tails or the rest of the tailed beasts, what would they think?I never really thought about what would happen in the future with me in it. Maybe it was best not to question it. Wait, what if ...? Could I be able to do it? Well, I've never tried using Chakra before. Maybe after both exams, I could try.I continued to be lost in thought for the remainder of the exam. Until the tenth question came. Ibiki explained again and asked the question. The genin began to raise their hands and walk out one by one. Until finally almost everyone was out.I jumped off Naruto's head, knowing what was going to happen next. I smiled at him as he began to raise his hand. And then he slammed it down ."No way! You can't scare me! I don't care if I'll be a genin for the rest of my life! I won't back down !" He said while standing up.Watching this at home had always given me chills no matter how many times I'd seen it but in the flesh, it was so much more powerful. Ibiki looked around the room making sure no one was faltering in their decision ."All right the tenth question is ..." he paused for effect. " You all pass," he said with a smile. "Wait what! What do you mean we pass ?" Sakura asked, "where's the tenth question ?!" She said, speaking for everyone in the room.Except for me of course. He began to explain and I stopped Listening since I heard it so many times before. Naruto nodded along, pretending to know exactly what was going on. I laughed at him silently, it reminded me of myself when I was in school. A long time must've passed because the next exam Procter jumped through the window. Early as expected.

Time skip ~

We stood outside the forest of death, the second exam Procter had already explained the situation and everyone was now in line to get heaven or an earth scroll.

I waited for my team to come while I stood under a tree, a few feet away. When Naruto came over with the rest of team seven with a smile. It was only a few seconds before the Procter gave the ready for the exam to begin. We went into action. Going into the woods to begin the second exam. And, what the others did not know, to meet Orochimaru.
