THE RUN

It's dark everywhere,full moon is there and time is of midnight. Wolves are Howling,air seemed to be dirty with foul smell

    In the woods of town "MAX CITY" the roars were getting louder

      "wh-Where am I ??" waking up from the ground says Aiden. He looked like an average young teenager with height around 5'10-5'11". He has  a charming face ,brown eyes with black  hairs and slight hairs on face as mustache and  beard was staring here and there .  he heard the howls and was terrified and started shivering. It was mid October and cold out there.

       "Granny are you here ...huh?" Grannyyy?? " he shouted again. But all he heard back was his echo. He was trying to figure out so he started to moving ahead ..he knew things weren't right so he tried to be careful.

        " Tup-tup"! he heard the falling droplets  from a  tap  away. He was thirsty so he ran towards it and it was well with a tap next to it and he started to drink water. "hey you? What are you doing here in the outskirts of the city af midnight huh?" a masculine voice came from the bushes next to the tap. Aiden thought he found a ray of hope and said , "Hello sir , I'm Aiden and I'm lost can you please tell me the way to the city." " Oh Aiden yes ofcourse I can lemme come out of these" the stranger came out from  the bushes.

        "What the hell!!" Aiden screamed and started running again. All he saw was headless man with is neck covered with blood . He can easily see the veins and bones covered in red. He ran furiously

        "Hey kid..I can help you stop running..... Man I can help you" shouted headless man. Aiden speeds up himself. He came quite few yards away from him. He stopped he was tired and trembling in fear.

        He was deep in the woods , Scared and shivering he preffered to run away and find way. In the hurry, he stumbled and fell badly on the ground. He screamed in pain. His knee was bleeding but it was minor injury. He sensed someone around. There was noise from bushes. He looked back but no one was there. He turned

Hello mate! What you doing here?" said a young man , he was handsome and wearing 90's style dressing and a digital watch with black leather jacket on and bell bottoms with casual shoes . "Oh God damn your freaked me out man". Replied Aiden.

       "Aah sorry mate. I didn't mean to " he giggled

By the way what you're doing here in the woods and that too in midnight, young man replied.

"Ummm I- I got lost I don't know man how I am here and I don't what to do and wh-where to g-go" Aiden said trembling.

       "Ohh I can help you mate . I live here near a cottage and why are you trembling?? And what happened to your knee? Is that blood ??huh" said The young man. "I-I saw a headless man back there a-and he came towards me with knife in his hands and I-I got scared and ran and I stumbled back there and got this" replied Aiden

       "Wait what mate? You saw a headless man ? Really? You must be hallucinating man and it  is increasing" said stranger pointing blood coming from his knee.

       "No I saw him " Aiden was looking at his knee

  "Now I guess you'll be perfect food for me now aahh the fresh blood, it's been long I haven't hunted such young charming man."  said stranger with fangs out with eyes deep red.

    Aiden was shocked after hearing this and saw him and screamed "V-Vamp-Vampire! no that's not possible".

    The vampire jumped without moment . He fell on Aiden and Aiden was screaming for help. They both were on ground and  Aiden was suffering and trying to escape but vampire with fangs out was coming for his collor bone. Aiden looked Aside While doing efforts to wake up and  and saw A branch of tree. "vampires can be attacked by wood"he thought in his mind. "yeah I've read it ,it's fatal".

    He picked one and attacked it with his whole might near the heart. The vampire screamed in pain. Aiden picked one more and attacked with it at his left leg. The vampire tried to fight back and Aiden again attacked and he fell aside.

    It was perfect time for him to escape and he ran for life. He knew that he will be "ok" in few moments and come back and he has to run fast as vampires have great speed. He saw an old wooden cottage  and he entered in it quickly.

     "Hey anyone here?? I-I-I ...th-theres vampire out there please help" said Aiden. His voice was breaking and tears were coming out from his eyes.

     "Oh no" it was the moment where Aiden realised he made a mistake. He saw the photo frame on the wall and it was of the vampire  who is haunting him down. "Harvey Holmes", "25 July 1890"he read the name and date loud written on the bottom of frame.  He ran and locked the door and picked a wooden piece and thought of using it as stake. "grrr" he heard snoring of an animal. He tried to peep out from window and he was looking out and suddenly a wierd creature which appeared a demon to him Hit the window and had wide teeths out . He seemed hungry Aiden already was shivering and crying he got more scared. He put the curtains and hid under the bed.

     Knock on the door, he ignored. Again somebody knocked on the door. He again ignored. "Open up buddy I'll count till 10 I know you're inside my home. Don't force me to do things worse mate" said vampire

     He waited outside for few seconds and began the countdown , "Ten ,nine eight, seven, six" . Aiden was breathing heavily he knew he can't escape if Harvey broke in and even escaping from backdoor was impossible as the demon type creature was roaming out and howling.

     "I can hear you breathing Aiden, just open up. Okay? " Said Harvey but received no response. So he continued "five , four,three,two and one ". He kicked the door and broke in. " you're gonna regret this kid, you made me go the other way" his fangs were out and his face grew red, he was in great anger . He sensed his breathing and went inside bedroom.

     Aiden heard the footsteps and started praying. He still had piece of wood in his hand which he thought to use as weopen. The footsteps grew louder , Harvey was in the room now. " under the bed not gonna work huh" he laughed and pulled him out and fangs out went for his neck, Aiden lose all the hope and tried to attack back but failed . "Aaaahhhhhh "

      Suddenly from nowhere Aiden got a slap. "wake up Aiden, you're already late, it's been thrice this week" shouted his grandma . Aiden woke up  and smiled he came to knew it was a Nightmare and he said "Thank God I'm alive, it was a worse nightmare". He  saw time. He was lying on his bed. "8:30 " I'm gonnna get scolded from mr. Griffin today I'm late."Hurry up Aiden " Grandma shouted from kitchen . He hurried up and got ready took his breakfast and said "granny I had a nightmare I'm gonna tell you after school" granny who was 65 year old woman with slight white hairs and had shrill voice laughed and had curious smile on her face. "Aah okay my child.  Now hurry up and go to school" she said

       Aiden went to school . Whole way he thought about the nightmare he had and how he just kept on running for life. "I'll tell everyone about my nightmare in class in recess" he thought.

       During recess when he reached Playground

  He was about to tell everyone. "hello mate! Aah you escaped last night but now you're not going anywhere.... I-I will haunt you down" said echo. Aiden stumbled. He knew it was none other that Harvey. It was same voice he heard last night. He ran .

" I'M COMING FOR YOU MATE!" and the echo faded
