1 CHAPTER 1: First Night
Year of 1998
In a small town lived a family..... Turning the pages of a diary... someone was writing.... May 20,1998...Another hectic day has passed but today was a little special because the boy sitting next to me has finally given me a gift.. To be honest I have a little crush on him .. kind of first love... But my little brother is sheer annoying... he has been asking about it since I have brought this gift to house.. l still have not opened it wondering what could be inside.... my mind is now full of guesses.... And another good thing has happened as father is bringing movie tickets for us and I have been waiting for it like a crazy... I have heard from my friends that this movie is very good... For the first time in a while so many good things are happening.. now I am wondering if something goes wrong.....
A call came from behind : Ana please bring some milk from the nearest convenience store.... I am making the dinner...
Ana: Mom I can't go now.. It's already dark.. I don't want to go
Mom:It's not that dark.... And if a friend had called you now.. I would have seen if it is still dark for you... And you know that your brother won't sleep if he doesn't get his favorite milk shake..
Ana (to herself) :Even after 100 decades.. MOTHER will be MOTHER... DAUGHTER will be DAUGHTER and SON will be SON.... when it comes to mother-son relationship none can win... Aghhh I don't want to go and it's dark also.... but if I don't go then....my ears will burst out and I don't want to listen never ending radio today.... It's better to go.... Ahhhhh.....
Ana was wearing her overcoat and said that I really don't want to go but she really don't have any choice... Her mom entered the room and handed her some money to buy milk... She said her to be careful and also added that she can buy her favourite chocolates... She was extremely over-whelmed and thought that today is her day... She went to the convenience store but something seemed off .... The vibe around the store was a bit uncomfortable... When she entered the store the shopkeeper was not present there... A man wearing a complete black outfit with a white cap was searching something... She was little scared so she grabbed the milk and chocolates... left the money in the counter and quickly went out of the store... she was returning to her house and suddenly she heard footsteps following her... she started to walk faster and the foot steps were more prominent.... She was terrified that she didn't even dare to look behind and check if someone was following her... She was so nervous that her hand were trembling out of fear and nothing came to her mind... she was searching for her mobile phone but unfortunately she had left it at her house.... she had no choice but to run.... and on her way she passed through the cornfield where the road were narrow having barely a street light... she thought that this is the most horrifying experience she ever had...
BANG!!
Ana: Ahhh!! Who are you??
A person: You are lucky... I will give you your salvation...
Ana:Whatt????
After some time , a knock at Ana's house door.....Mother hurriedly opened the door and her father was standing
Mom:Where is Ana?
Father:Is Ana not at home?
Mom: Oh yes!! I had sent her to buy some milk and it's been a while but she hasn't returned yet... I am really worried..
Father : Maybe she would be listening to songs on her way back that's why it's taking a while... you know whenever she listens songs she either dances or stops for a while wondering whatever...
Mom: That's the weirdest part... She hasn't taken her mobile phone... it's impossible for her to take this much of time... let's go to find her...
Father: Don't worry.... we will find her .. first let's go to the police station
Mom:Ok.. let's hurry up... Son... we are going to find your sis... Be a good child and sleep early...
I am locking the door from outside
Mother and father went hurriedly to the police station...
At police station...
Officer: What happened sir... Is something wrong?? How can I help you??
Father: My daughter is missing... She went to the convenience store and it's been a while she has returned..
Officer:Wait for a while... let me write the report..
Mom: Please! Please! find my daughter.. I am really worried.. She has never taken this much time to return home...
Officer: At what time she left the house??
Mom: I guess it was 7:45 or something she left and now it's like 9:30...
Officer : Okkk!! I am writing the report...
Mom: Can you please search for her rather than writing your DAMN report... I am saying my daughter is missing and you don't know anything other than your report... Is writing this report more important than someone's life....
Father: Honey!!! Calm down!! let them do their work property..
A ring at the station.....
Another Officer: Hello this is the police station... how may I help you ?
... What!!!!
A MURDER CASE
Everyone was alarmed when they heard the word 'MURDER'
All the officers are required to go near the cornfields of lane -19... The Chief announced when heard about The Murder Case...
The Chief also instructed to call the forensics department ASAP...
Mom: What??? Where did the murder happened???
Please repeattt itttt... WHERE did the murder happened..
Father: Calm Down... Sir can you please sy the location of the murder ??
Officer: It is said that near the cornfields ..
Mom:Is it cornfields.. We live in the same lane and the cornfields are beside the road on our way to house...
Father: Can you please tell something about m.. m... mmmurder??
Officer: I am sorry but we didn't get any information over phone.. We can only provide you accurate information by confirming the details on the murder site... Please excuse me... We have to depart quickly...
The mother was trembling and was almost going to faint.. the father's face had turned into a white sheet... But he had some hope and faith in the God so he stood firm... he told his wife not to worry and everything will be fine.... And to have faith in God
The father decided to follow the police and told his wife to be in station but the mother insisted that she would go with him
And both of them followed the police to the crime scene...
