Chapter 242: Chain of Events (2)

Amy Donovan was working at the facility, practicing her spear skills. After the exams were over and she came home, she entered one of the dungeons her grandfather owned. But she was so powerless against the monsters there that Amy began to doubt her own abilities.

So she spent her free time training to improve. She was doing sit-ups when Elliot came up to her and took her by the feet, making it easier for her to do them.

"What brings you here?" Amy asked Elliot, who was right in front of her as she stood up, then stepped back again.

"How happy are you to see your fiancé?" Elliot said sarcastically and Amy frowned.

"You don't just show up for no reason. So I figured you'd have a job."

Elliot smiled as Amy said expressionlessly and continued to do sit-ups.

"I wanted to ask if you were coming to the party."

"Is that really why you're here?" Amy said, pulling her feet out of Elliot's grasp and standing up. "I already said I was coming."
