Chapter 5: Night school

[AYATO'S POV]

We were inside the limo, Yui was sitting next to me but I didn't pay any mind to it.

Since I am Ayato and I wasn't causing a commotion like he always does, it wasn't as noisy as it usually was.

"U-um.. A-ayato-kun?.. " Yui asked, fidgeting with her fingers.

"What?" I looked at her.

"I-it's nothing m-much but.. A-are you okay? Y-you're acting kind of.. Weird..?"

' dammit. Just leave me alone. '

I glared at her causing her to flinch, "Do you miss my fangs that much?" I smirked.

She gulped and backed up a little.

"n-no I.. What I was-"

"You two. Stop this useless crap. We're almost there. " Reiji cut her off.

' nice save, bro'

We have finally arrived at our destination.

I waited for my turn then I got out of the car.

I stared at the sight in front of me in awe ' amazing... It's huge and it also looks pretty cool! '

I looked around and saw that the other Sakamaki brothers are going inside heading  to their own classrooms.

I shrugged and walked inside the school as well.

"Ayato-kun, wait for me!" Yui said while running after me

"Don't follow me! I'm going to class. "

I replied as I take a detour.

"Um.. It's the.. Wrong way? Besides we're classmates..?" Yui stood there  watching me.

"I knew that! I was just testing you!" I blabbered making my way towards the blonde girl.

She chuckled and walked besides me, "yes yes"

' is she not that afraid anymore?'

While we were walking, I glanced around the school hallway and I was stunned by the view.

I also noticed the other students.

' is it because the anime was focusing on important characters that it did not show others? Damn then it didn't do them any justice. Most of them look great. The girls are pretty and even the boys are handsome. They may not be on the same level as the main ones  but I do think it's not fair for these background characters. But I'm mostly curious whether they do know about us or not? '

I was so lost in thoughts that I didn't notice us arriving to our classroom.

"Ayato-kun?" Yui tapped my shoulder slightly.

"Huh?"

"We're here"

I nodded and went inside, I saw that everyone took their seat already.

Yui sat down and I noticed that there was only one remaining seat.

I figured out it was my own so I took it.
