Chapter 02

"Huh, the hell….is this?"

Nathan said when he got a clear view of the world he is in, his voice sounding rough, his head slightly disoriented from what he could only assume was because of Zelretch.

He took off the shroud that was covering his face (Just how can this guy even tell what he's seeing?) and he became surprised and utterly bewildered from what he saw.

He can tell that he was from what looked like a war zone, there were a lot of dead bodies in what looked like a battlefield, bunkers on the other side looked destroyed, and multiple nearby fields were filled with rubble to the point he couldn't tell just how much of it was destroyed.

But that is not what caught his attention, he saw a man fighting against a humanoid being with five pairs of wings on his back, with man struggling to survive let alone fight against it, so...He decided to test his newly found skills along with his newly made body as he runs towards them.

Seconds have barely passed, and Nathan had already traveled a considerable distance towards the battle. On a mental note, Nathan added super speed and telescopic vision to the powers he had inherited from the heroic spirit, True Archer.

As he ran towards them, Nathan saw legions of humanoid creatures with bat-like wings,

marching behind what looked like a Nazi soldier. - but what? What these creatures look like…. It looks like the classic description of a Demonoid. - He frowned as he thought about why Nazis allied with demons but dismissed the thought immediately.

What mattered was that, he is somehow in, what he can only assume is, a version of World War II, and that the Nazis have allied themselves with demons, but as he was isekai-ed, it was impossible to know if in this world every demon was inherently "evil", or if it was like in some anime he didn't remember the name of, though he did remember a protagonist was a demon who had married a goddess in one of them.

Again, even if that were the case, at least this group of demons were allying themselves with the Nazis, so they were either forced into it, or they were worse than rubbish. As he didn't remember all of Alcides' powers, Nathan had to improvise a little.

Taking his giant bow, and materializing his quiver of giant arrows on his back, he placed as many arrows as possible in the bow and fired at the group of demons that the Nazi soldier led.

Suddenly all the demons in the group began to emit a strong murderous intent, Hiding among the trenches, Nathan approached the group cautiously. When he was close enough, he took one of his arrows and used it to knock out some demons in his way, but then the previously seen demon with five pairs of wings was beginning to approach him.

"Now what do we have here ... A bearer of Sacred Gear," as he spoke, dark energy was Materializing within his wings and can be seen it being channeled into his hands, the demon with it summoned a powerful torrent of flames that exploded the ground around Nathan.

When the smoke and debris cleared from the explosion, the demon stood there with disbelieving eyes, to what to his experience should not have been possible.

That explosion should've been enough to put down any user of a Sacred Gear who has not fully mastered the abilities of their gear, ... unless either he was not a novice and has already developed them, or he was a "prodigious user".

"Tell me what Sacred Gear do you carry human," Asked the demon, before charging up his wings in dark energy, to create what looked like energetic blades which he proceeded to shoot them at him.

"Sacred Gear?, What the hell is Sacred Gear?" Nathan wondered as he dodged the demon's energetic attacks one by one with ease.

"You don't know what a Sacred Gear is?...That is fine you'll die without knowing it!" the demon said while summoning a turrent of flames towards Nathan as he continued to run from the streams of fire while he got behind a sack of bags you typically find in a trench in war, to cover from the flames created by the demon.

Unfortunately, the flames managed to reach him, that was when Nathan realized that he had some level of resistance to heat and flames, seeing the bags he used at the attempt to protect himself were completely incinerated by the flames of the demon, with even the earth scorched to the color back before the power of its flames.

Suddenly, Nathan felt an uneasy feeling coming from his head, and jumped to the side...just as he noticed a green glow pass by the position he just was a moment ago forming a large beam of light.

"wow, that was close," He said before looking towards where the laser came from, but as far as he could see nothing was there that would have shot him, Nathan decided to focus back on his current opponent, but to his surprise, he was gone.

"how convenient, but I can't complain, at least now I have an idea of what powers I have at my disposal in case I can't remember the others," he said while seeing that the same group of demons from earlier are torturing a soldier who was wearing the star of David in his soldier's uniform.

"Having little knowledge about the second World War, beyond what is common knowledge, Nathan did not need to think twice about trying to help the Jewish soldier who suffered at the hands of the demons. Unfortunately, the demon saw this and slashed the soldier's heart, which exploded in a huge stream of blood.

"ahh, did you want to save this human soldier? Unfortunately for you, he's already dead, ha ha ha haaa," the demon spoke as he laughed, as the demon removed his hand from the soldier's body.

There was something strange about it, something that shouldn't be inside a human, a small "sculpture" of a man with a rifle and a sword where the part that connected the two formed a hexagonal star.

In the next moment, the demon converted the object into energy and threw it into one of his own allies, the demon's ally in question began to convulse in pain as suddenly, a strong blue glow enveloped him, and a reddish-colored sword with blue edges appeared in his hands.

"Take care of this human, and bring his sacred gear!" Said the demon who flew somewhere, revealing his 6 pairs of wings. "Right, Lord Sullivan, sir,"Said the demon with the lowest rank to his leader.

"Good, and do not return without his sacred gear, or I will punish you myself," having no other choice, the demon flew towards Nathan with his new sword in hand, seeing this, Nathan realized that, the first demon he fought, must have warned his superiors about him, and now they want to kill him to get whatever these "sacred gear" they believed he had.

"Well, well, well if it isn't a peculiar human we have here, what is an archer doing here in the middle of the battlefield," Said the demon, as he spoke, the sword in his hand glowed, "I believe I shall use a weapon far more suited for modern war,".

With the new appearance of his weapon, the demon started firing bullets of energy towards Nathan, who instinctively dodged the demon's shots, each and every one of them with ease.

"ha, what was that about the weapon suitable for war?," Nathan said, teasing his opponent from the battle.

"hm hmhmhmhmhm hm. It seems that although the shots of this sacred gear are powerful, they are very slow, meh, then I'll go with a sword." Said the demon, again changing the shape of his weapon once more which now looked like a Japanese sword with a star that lies on the guard.

Raising the blade of the sword towards the sky, the demon imbues it with dark, very demonic energy, "yes, yes, yes, the compatibility is done, prepare yourself human because you will have the honor of facing a sacred equipment of the Longinus type, or as I prefer to call a god slayer,".

"Hmm god killer is it?, humph, it's a pity for you that I'm no deity, I'm just an archer passing by," taking his bow out casually, and shooting upwards towards the sky.

Suddenly, he felt an enormous sense of nostalgia when he remembered one of Archer's techniques, of which the body he inhabited, as he spoke his voice vibrating the air with power , "Stymphalian Bird!".

Then suddenly, the arrows he had fired were fully enveloped in silverly energy, the demon, seeing that his opponent had summoned some of his own magic, tried to defend himself, but before he could have had the chance, he was suddenly hit by what looked like huge silver birds, which tore off portions of the demon's wings with its own wings of steel, but the demon was able to regenerate it back fully.

"If it weren't for the fact that I injected the essence of the enhanced phoenix tears I would be in serious trouble now," Said the demon spitting the blood that made its way to his mouth.

Nathan was stunned by this, "damn regenerators, I always liked to use healing items in games, but now I understand the haters back then were complaining when they faced me in the MMO," said Nathan, when an idea struck him.

Taking out a total of ten arrows, and placing them in the bow, he filled them with the same energy he had used beforehand for the steel bird technique, the difference being that this time the energy took on a golden color while wrapping the bowstring "Shooting Hundred Heads!".

As he said this, the air once more sounded with thunderous energy, he pulled back the string of his bow, the arrows in it becoming rays of light and released it.

When the hit, the demon felt every single part of his body being piercing with each and every one of them being more painful then the last, and as for the few arrows that did not hit him, the rest went flying straight to nearby Nazi troops, who flew up from the impact, which was strong enough to propel them to the stars like the team rocket we all love.

Unknown location.

"Ahhh," Shouted the Nazi soldier as he watched the ground move way, while his body rose higher and higher from the sudden explosion that hit him, he did not know what hit him, but at the very least he survived, what he did know was that regardless of what would happen he would die, because even if by some miracle he survived the explosion, nothing would save him from this fall...or so he thought.

"Ahh, what we have here," Said a humanoid creature with five pairs of huge dark colored wings, "I do wonder however, how a human-like you came to be here at this distance off the ground, without one of those extravagant machines of yours, or even a sacred gear," Said the winged creature, while simultaneously using a strange device, which unknown to the human was being used to read the his mind.

Searching this human's mind, the creature was able to see the memories of a figure to what looked like an imposing archer just before the soldier was thrown flying straight into his hands.

"How interesting, since the Great War of the three factions, I haven't seen such a powerful human-like this one," Said the creature, who had a smile that would send chills up your spine.

"Lets see if this human can be proven a match to me other than that exorcist," Said the creature with its bloodlust on its face before he dashed towards the location where the human was.

"Haaa...damn that was a lot of soldiers. I wonder if-?!" Nathan said, but before he was able to go back to find a soldier to ask what year it was to get an idea how long this war would last, he had to jump back to avoid what seemed to be a spear made entirely out of light that was aimed for his heart.

"Oh? you managed to dodge that, very impressive for a human." Someone said when Nathan checked his immediate surroundings before eventually he looked at the sky and spotted the culprit of the Light Spear.

He had the appearance of a young man with long ravenous black hair and blood red eyes, and unlike those other demonic beings, he had pointy ears and possessed five pairs of black wings.

Almost immediately, Nathan was on guard, his form shifting into a stance where he held his bow in his right hand while his left was holding the pulled back string, as he stood at the ready to fire a couple arrows at the slightest hint of hostile movement.

The moment that he first saw this guy, all of Nathan's instincts screamed at him to be wary, to run away from this creature that resembled a human in all but wings and facial features, would only result in his own demise.

Something which he did NOT want to experience again for a long while, "Alright, now who the hell are you?" The boy questioned cautiously, not taking even the slightest chance of lowering his guard due to the aforementioned stuff.

In response, the winged creature just chuckled, Nathan REFUSED to call this thing anything related to a human, it just felt wrong to him somehow, in a manner which sent no small amount of chills down Nathan's spine, the wings on his back fluttering ever so slightly, "My, now that's a remarkably rude way to address your superiors, human," The being mocked, making to stretch out his hand. "How about I teach you-".

FWOOSH-FWOOSH-FWOOSH-FWOOSH!

"?!"

4 Arrows got launched towards the being before he could finish his sentence, one of which he had been targeting his outstretched hand which forced him to cancel whatever it had been preparing to do in order to pull it out of harm's way.

With the surprise attack over, the arrow whizzed passed his form whilst his wings lashed out like they were whips at neck breaking speed, thwacking away the remaining Arrows harmlessly.

Instead of just allowing this guy, who seemed to like the sound of his own voice, to talk his shit , Nathan opted to learn from his past encounters with the demons that striking first was the best course of action to gain the upper hand in a fight.

Something which apparently rang true since Nathan had launched arrows at the air below the being's legs, the previous four arrows that he shot at the ground were being used as a diversion for him in order to create a smokescreen from the dust and rubble to hamper the guy's vision.

'Alright, I'm not letting this guy get even a single shot off,' Nathan thought as he quickly began darting throughout the outer edges of the smokescreen, using his archery skills in order to constantly assault the winged creature with the arrows.

He kept on occasionally hitting the ground with a few as well just to keep the smokescreen going, furthering his advantage, 'As long as I can keep this guy occupied enough and unaware of my current position, I can make an opening to deliver a decisive blow-'

"How interesting…" the being said, clear amusement was heard, and he can tell that the being was widely smirking.

"?!"

However, just as Nathan finished his line of thought, a sinister, almost serpentine-like voice echoed so close to his ear that he thought that it was directly behind him.

This feeling soon proved to be reality when an ominous shadow loomed over him from behind, Nathan's eyes widening while his pupils dialed back and visibly trembled as his whole body froze up.

What seemed to be an impossibly large amount of pure pressure was suddenly erupting from behind him that almost made him fall to his knees. 'Wha-how did…?!' The boy thought, shellshocked before his body instinctively crouched down and rolled to the side.

SCHWING!

Just in time to save his skin, he managed to just BARELY avoid being hit by something no doubt lethal by the skin of his teeth, at his current position he isn't able to see what it was, but he WAS able to sense it impacting the area he was just standing on.

By the time that he had been able to roll back on his feet, Nathan looked and saw a long, very LONG fissure that stretched on for at least 80 meters away from them, it being quite deep, as he can even see it is still steaming from the heat the attack produced 'Holy… if that had hit me, I'd have been a dead man!' the boy thought in horror.

Glancing back to the creature who had performed this deed, he saw what had caused such a devastating amount of damage: a Spear-like weapon which was gripped within the same hand which had fired at him at the beginning of this battle.

It looked like a double-edge, golden-colored Spear with 3 glowing purple rings hovering around the center off the pole.

The sheer amount of power he could feel coming from that thing made him REALLY not want that thing to hit him, after all since this thing isn't human, and that thing definitely was not made from some human's hands, then his current attire wouldn't be able to protect him against it from what he could remember of the True Archer's Noble Phantasm.

"Not bad, boy, not bad at all."

Even as the man spoke again, this time 'lazily' launching a barrage of raven black feathers from his wings, each of them flying faster than with any right they had to be, while Nathan was attempting to shoot down as many of them as possible with arrows he was rapidly firing.

Seeing this situation being very detrimental, he began to switch his response from fight to flight, his instincts told him now to flee, that he wouldn't be able to take him on right now which he felt to be especially true after these displays of power.

"You amuse me boy, but you do not seem to be fully capable of utilizing your power yet…," the being remarked thoughtfully, "That clash before proved it. Although you have some skill for strategy, it can not make up for your lack of experience with your abilities, thus your battle strength has shrunken because of it…"

'Shit, he sussed me out only in that one instance…' Nathan thought as he gripped his Bow tightly, sweat rolling down his forehead profusely.

This was bad, with what he had seen of this creature, the boy believed that he would likely kill him now just out of amusement and no regard for human life, he could tell just from the bloodthirsty look in his red eyes, which meant that unless he could somehow appeal to that nature, he likely wouldn't be getting out of this alive.

'Wait… bloodthirsty nature… likes battling for sport… aha! That could work!' he thought, a figurative light bulb clicking in his head as he responded slowly. "Then what if I get stronger?"

"Oh?"

Now that he saw that the creature had its interest in him, Nathan continued to showcase why he clearly deserved to go to the Joseph Joestar School of bullshitery, legendary certainly that guy was.

"I mean, let's face it, you pretty much hit the nail on the head there. I've only had these powers recently, and you could kill me here without blinking an eye. Thing is though, wouldn't that be boring for you? You have someone with unknown abilities with an unknown level of potential. Why not let me grow and, since you're so confident with your powers, fight me later on down the line." he suggested, keeping a defensive stance, testing the ground on him being potentially being scott free.

If this stunt didn't work, then he would have to pull both a Stymphalian Bird and a Mares of Diomedes out of his ass for a distraction, that way he could put as much energy as he could manage in pulling the good ol' 'nigerundayo!' strategy.

"Hmmmmmmmm… fine, you're lucky that I don't have that much energy when I fought against a wielder of Durandal, but the next time we meet, we will have our match." the winged creature said while dispersing his light spear, which made Nathan very much relieved that he gets to live another day, but there are questions he still wants answered.

"Before you leave, is this war still ongoing?" He asked the winged creature which immediately afterwards his amused look turned furious before he adopted a neutral expression.

"Hmm i suppose you could say that, though at this point the only one left is Japan as the last opponent, boy," and he could've sworn, he heard a slight disappointment in his tone and his eyes were showing slight signs of them as well,...just great he attracted the attention of a warmonger who was also a battle junkie.

"Why is that?" at this point he felt like he was walking on thin ice here, feeling there might be a chance he would change his mind on keeping him alive, but...damn if he was curious.

"Haven't you heard? This is the last stand of the Nazi's raid they will officially raid against their enemies British and the Americans, with this they are out of the war, the only one left is Japan "

Nathan paused for a second to try to remember the history lessons he used to take when he was still in school before the pandemic had happened, Nathan continued to ask his next question, "Then why are there demonic creatures in the Nazi's army?"

"Demonic creatures?...Ah, you mean devils, well since you're new to the supernatural world can't say I blame you for not knowing them." Nathan was confused on what the winged creature said about the supernatural world, but mostly on the fact the devils exist.

'Does this mean that the old man Zelretch placed him in a world where the mythology here actually does exist?' Nathan wondered but the winged humanoid had already continued on to speak.

"Anyway, the reason why the devils are with the Nazi's was because their charming leader named Hitler made an agreement with the old satan faction that if they come out victorious, they get to do whatever they want in German, the church caught news of said agreement, and with this they had no other choice but to join in on this war, to assure that they will not gain the upper hand on them, and Since this is the Nazis' last stand they have no choice but to leave this war." The winged creature said while making an angry expression that truly makes him look like a warmonger.

'This creature…He wants to continue the war, and he really seems to like the nazis'

"But that might as well be behind us now, we shall see each other in the future, I simply can't wait to experience what you have to give," as he said this, the black raven-like winged being gracefully spreading all five pairs of his wings.

He rose up from the ground, dust only now starting to settle down, he continued to look at Nathan, as he flew backwards, and started to glow, "if not,...well there are other things entertain using you," as he finished, his form broke down into light fragment and faded from sight.

After fighting the ten-winged creature entity he rested for a while, when he recovered ever so slightly he went looking for more demons, or Nazis to fight them.

Nathan reviewed the latest events of his current life, him waking up in a WWII bunker and discovering that he now possessed the body of a Fate Servant character, whose abilities he did not quite remember clearly.

And after going from fields upon fields of bodies, he had finally found some devils that have allied with the Nazis, and even more recently, he found another type of winged creature, which looked more like it belonged to an angel of death, all in the midst of enjoying the partial end of the this world war...At least according to the overpowered creature, unreliable info from said creature, due to his apparent war lust.

While Nathan was battling some devils and an occasional Nazi soldier on other battlefields, not far from the one Nathan was in, a man with muscular figure that would make the Hulk proud, with what looked like a giant deep blue Greatsword, in which he masterfully used it to chop up various demons and Nazi soldiers on the battlefield.

"oh?, how interesting, it seems that I was not the only one on the supernatural side who decided to intervene more directly in this senseless war," said the muscular Hulk-sized figure, as he filled his fists with sacred energy and performed some krav maga blows, on the unsuspecting demons and occasional Nazi soldiers.

"Lord forgive these soldiers, many of them are just following orders and others have no choices but to follow them," said the hulk like figure mentally performing a small prayer for the Nazi soldiers.

Despite it being a large contradiction , the figure held no hatred nor grudge against anything he fought, anyone who didn't know him or seen him in action would easily mistake him being a mere bodybuilder, or a simple mountain of brainless muscles.

But in fact he was, as confusing as it sounds in any way, an exorcist,...perhaps the only one to ever have enough compassion to ask forgiveness even for Nazis of all people..

Since all the Nazi soldiers and devils in the area have already been eliminated, knocked out by their attacks or even them becoming scattered pieces.

As he was fighting he saw something that would draw his attention, something that looked like a giant humanoid carrying a bow, not that he had muscles like him, it was more like the figure he saw was really a giant.

But nevermind that what was important was that there was someone else besides him fighting the injustices of such a senseless war, or so he believed.

As he approached the archer, the bald, muscled figure was taken aback by the sudden aura of murderous intent that the archer emitted in his direction, "Hello there, are you here to help the battle?" asked the Exorcist, while approaching Nathan.

"Don't approach," Nathan said, aiming his bow right at him, while the super muscular swordsman approached him, "there is no need for violence between us at the moment, after all it seems that we are fighting on the same side,...by the way my name is-," he figure tried to approach when suddenly his speech was interrupted by arrows covered golden energy that were fired at him.

"Hey, I was introducing myself, attacking someone during your presentation is not something to do," the figure said, while literally punching the projectiles, which dissolved into energy.

"I said do not approach," Nathan said, since from all that happened all day he was just done with this shit, and not willing to believe something without proof at the moment.

Which then he took the time to realize that his arrows had not hit the mysterious figure, "interesting magic that you use with your bow, At first I believed that it was a Sacred Gear, or an ancient artifact of power, but it actually has its own magic on it, Surprisingly," Said the enormous figure of a man.

"But if I really had reason to fight you, you would not stand a chance, and it is not because of my exaggerated amount of muscles mass, but for the simple fact that i can tell that you a severely new to your weapon, " he deduced as spoke some more, while analyzing the magic of what could become a possible opponent or ally depending on his next figurative, and quite literal, steps.

"By the way the name is Vasco...Vasco Strada," Said the mysterious figure revealing his name.

"good, but I still don't trust you, but if you really want to help, then I will need proof, my name...my name is Etheryudan," Nathan said, deciding that if he was in a new world, it would not be a particularly bad idea to get a new name.

"Now, as i said before, I want you to lend me your sword there, if you let me use the sword, I will consider that you are trustworthy,"answered our lovely archer.

"ah, this sword?… do you even know what sword this is?" Asked the bald up exorcist, "-no, no i don't, Why? Is it supposed to be special, "asked the now named Etheryudan.

"Wow, I never thought that someone on the supernatural side would be so oblivious to the presence of durandal, even someone who just entered this "side" of the world," Said Vasco in thought, "well have you heard of Durandal?"

"Durandal, I think so, you're referring to Roland's sword / spear as i recall, "asked Etheryudan, using his knowledge of the Fate version of that weapon, since he had no concrete knowledge about it from his original world nor about the version of this world, for all he knew it could be magic wand in a shape of a blade.

"Hmmm, I don't remember it ever being a spear, but maybe it's due to its enormous size, after all, people of normal size could easily use it as one," said Vasco willingly lending his insignia weapon, "but please return it to me after the battle," he said with a big smile on his face.

Suddenly, in one of the nearby battlefields, a huge green light was visible, involving a huge area, which was equivalent to at least as large as 3 football fields, when the subsided, a 20 meter large creature appeared where the light was previously at.

The creature resembled what looked reptilian in nature, with large phoenix wings, deeply green eyes, with its most memorable thing about it was its large three heads on top of their own very long necks.

"ROOOAAAAHHH," roared the titanis creature, which immediately started shooting balls of fire at the allied troops, this huge creature was the result of an agreement between Hitler, the leader of the Nazi army with the leaders and scientists of the ancient Maous, the project Gh1d094h or otherwise known as Ghidorah came into frutation.

"yes, YES, finally, the world is ready at long last for my fury, "Said the Nazi general to his supreme leader.

"General Stronhein, launch the mental transfer protocol," Hitler commanded his general, "Hail Hitler, Starting the mental transfer protocol," Stronhein responded and obeyed when pressing a Button on the technology that had been provided to them by the leaders of the Old Maous.

Back on the battlefield.

"What in the hell is that?" Asked Etheryudan, who could very well become an ally for this situation, "I have no idea, but coming from that place, it can't be anything good," said Vasco feeling a slight shiver down his spine.

"Hey, am I crazy?, or am i seeing a Kaiju," asked Etheryudan, seeing the huge creature coming directly from the depths of your wildest dreams.

"Kai… ju… what is a Kaiju?" Vasco asked, confused by the terminology he never heard of, "Kaiju, is a Japanese term for ... giant monsters," Said Etherryudan seeing the rampant damage that the monster was causing, forgetting for a moment that the atomic bomb has yet to be dropped, therefore no godzilla.

"Ah, giant monsters, In this case, no, you have not gone mad, as I as well see one," said Vasco, pointing to the uncontrolled monster, "However, I don't know what monster this is, at least none of which I've heard of, and I know just about every damn creature out there, which implies either two things, either this is some experiment that went wrong...or right, depending on your perspective, or some child of a supernatural being like Grendel Fafnir, Vitra, or even Tiamat herself,...I sincerely hope it's not be the last, Otherwise, we shall surely die," Said Vasco with likely all the calmness in the world.

"Damn, if creatures like this one exist in this world, I don't even want to think about meeting them the ones at the top of the food chain, especially Tiamat, I strongly prefer not learning what this version she's like in this world is like," thought Etheryudan, while analyzing the Kaiju to scout for any exploitable weakness, but obviously unable to find anything obvious.

Though he came to the decision that it did not really matter, just as long as he prevented this...this ghidorah-like kaiju from continuing on his unbridled destruction.

"No, I don't think it's a offspring of any supernatural creature, it's more like one …," said Etheryudan thinking of a correct term for artificial hybrid creature, "an chimera… this is a chimera made from what looks like a cross between a supernatural creature with a dinosaur.

"Oh, I suppose it is plausible, but where would they get the DNA of a beast as ancient as a dinosaur with, what I can tell, of a phoenix, as seen with its flaming wings?" the exorcist being thoroughly confused on it.

A few moments later, both warriors tensed up and dashed towards their target, both of them crossing over several meters per second with complete ease, behind them a dust cloud formed as a result of their beyond impressive agility.

When they arrived at their intended position, Vasco attempted to catch the enormous beast by one of its tails, when he successfully managed to grip one, with all his strength he managed to create the momentum needed for him to pick it up and throw it at the ground, personally introducing Ghidorah to Mother Earth.

Meanwhile, Ether was shooting arrows at the creature's incredibly large wings to hamper its natural ability to fly, however, the creature managed to regenerate the wounds caused to its wings, and shortly thereafter created a huge gust of wind that hurled both warriors towards a stone trench.

"Argh, a regenerator type," Ether said while spitting some blood, "yes, creatures with healing factors are some of the most extremely difficult things to deal with," said Vasco, remembering the first time he had to face one.

"But the more important thing now is the need to defeat it, lest it begin to cause death," said Vasco, he crouched down and took a huge leap over the creature to see if he can pacify it, unfortunately, this was of course an useless endeavor.

Soon afterwards however energy channeled throughout its body to hit the only opponent he saw at the time, and even so, unintentionally, Ghidorah electrocuted his "pilot" hard enough to knock him down from its back, while blasting energy in the form of rays at his other opponent.

"Apparently, I will have to use it again…," Said Ether, now ether thinking about how much energy he had already lost in his previous encounters with demons, Nazis along with that winged creature with a thirst for battle and death, "well, I sure hope this works,".

With Ethen, he closed his eyes for a moment, taking a much needed breath, taking Durandal onto both of his hands,...when he opened his eyes, all you could see in them was pure conviction and a slight golden glow.

He took Durandal, which had been loaned to him, lifted it high up, the tip facing the smoke filled sky, he attempted to do what was clearly not available to his Class.

To anyone watching, they would at that moment see the giant sword he carried, now filled with gold glow to it, the same golden energy that he had once used in his bow in his previous fight, and when he spoke, it had the familiar weight to them like all previous times he had said them.

"Shooting Hundred Heads!"

Aiming at the tails, wings, legs and all three of its heads, Ether at that moment made one hundred strikes, and to anyone if they were to watch, all they would witness was him hitting the first few strikes in until they all eventually became a blur.

When he was finished, all you could see from the formidable monster, was that now it was thoroughly filled with wounds all over its body, its wings?, shredded, tails?, detached, this attack was so fast, it couldn't even register it along with the pain.

The creature only had one remaining head, the other two were decapitated and damaged beyond recognition to the point it looks like a pile of raw flesh.

"ugh,...finally, ha...ha, the creature,...uff, has been dealt with,,,uff," Said Ether as he leaned on Durandal from the fatigue caused by his attack, he had gone beyond his natural limits at the moment, in fact he was sure he will black out in a moment.

For that long moment, all was silent, when after a minute calming his rapidly beating heart, the creature's remaining head, wounded beyond belief, opened its eyes once more and began, to his surprise, to speak, "Gahhhh, you have my thanks fools, thanks to you, the victory of this war is now mine," said the creature, with a very deep voice rumbling down its neck, male if he had to assume.

From all over its reptilian body, its severely bleeding wounds started to steam and mend itself, however instead of two heads it had previously lost, four new ones regrew in their place, and all five of them were staring at him, with more intelligence then it clearly had previously.

"ROOOAAHHH, GAAAAHHHH, HHYYAAAAH, JJYAAAHHH," The new heads roared, simultaneously shooting gusts of fire, lightning, and large amounts of energy.

"- more, what the fuck…," Said Ether, witnessing the bizarre transformation of the creature, "Zeeeelretch, this is your doing, you damn troll," shouting in his mind as he watched his life pass before his eyes.

"I the all powerful Hitler, I don't need my previous body anymore, with all this power I can easily win the war," said the creature as it finished regenerating, "thanks to you, I was able to successfully complete the mind transfer…you know, it's very difficult to switch minds with a three-minded creature, even if it isn't all that intelligent," Hitler said beginning to rise, him flaring his wings.

"What, hitler? in the body of Ghidorah?"were Ether's thoughts, he went to stand up, but his body wasn't responding, the fatigue from his earlier attack was too taxing on his body, stubborn as he is, he tried to take a step, and fell over, not able to keep his balance.

With his remaining strength, he tried to get up, his eyes growing more and more heavy, as Durandal fell right in front of him.

"Damn it, i refuse to give in,...come on...COME ON..MOVE YOU DAMN USELESS BODY," by every second he grew more and more frustrated with himself why now? Why now o all tim-

"You've done enough," Vasco said, almost completely forgetting about him even if at this point he couldn't see him, he can quite clearly imagine bearing a frown, with encouraging tone, "you have done far more than i expected, let me handle this for you,".

In front of him, right before his eyes closed to the sweet darkness of sleep, he saw Vasco pick up his blade, and calmly walk towards the beast that was now apparently hitler.

And promptly passed out.

A week later

Ether woke up from what seemed to be from his own heavy sleep, eyes tiredly open, his body ached as if a truck crashed right into him, and in a few feet away sounds of metal grinding and be heard.

Turning his head, wincing slightly from the body's flaring pain, what he saw was the same man he saw before he fell down cold, he was currently sharpening durandal with a whetstone...which really didn't make sense considering it was supposedly permanently sharp.

He was sitting in a chair, he wore more casual clothes, a few feet away from what he assumed was his bed he was currently occupying, after a few moments, the priest finally took notice of his awakening.

"Aah, I see you finally woke up, after facing a giant chimera, or in your own words, a Kaiju, I brought you here to recover,'' said Vasco, handing some food to Ether, who thanked him, despite the ache's protest, "you were asleep for a whole week after you passed out from exhaustion in the middle of the battle,".

"...I thank you for your hospitality, I must've used too much magic, unto my last attack, though I didn't even think it would put me out of commission for a damn week," while he was thankful, Ethan was not exactly happy that he put himself in such a vulnerable position.

"Well, from what I've seen I would've been outstanded if that was cheap to use, not to mention that this sword is very difficult to use, Its use is different for each and every user, and it adapts to the style of each one of them, this combined with your technique would've most likely demanded a incredibly large amount of energy,". Vasco said, expressing the cause of what most likely caused him to blacked out.

At this point, Ethan managed to sit up, and eat the food he was given from the deskside, as he was listening to every word spoken, and came to a conclusion, "...you want something don't you,".

It was not even a question, it was a statement, and he was proven correct by the smile the muscular bald man gave him.

"Yes you see, you are very similar to me, we worked really well together, despite the fact we only just met… so i would like formally ask you, would you like to join the church?" Asked Vasco

"Uhhhh….. No" said Ether shaking his head after a moment of thinking about it.

"Why not? It could benefit you that the church would help you train your abilities." Said Vasco, while it was a good reason, and it did give him access to information and resources...but.

"Because I don't want to be controlled by other people that want my power." said Ether while it would help immensely, he really doesn't know anything about this world beyond what was overlapping with his, at the moment he couldn't trust anyone.

"Well alright, though bear in mind that if you ever consider it Ether, ours doors will always be opened to you anytime." said Vasco, as he stood up he exited the room, "when you recover you may leave.

AN: Damn… this was an exhausting chapter we did… My name is Darklord and bringing you another chapter of the story, also I have another author that also has agreed to work with me and his name is ProfesorGoblitz. So to clarify on the chapter, the MC JUST got his powers and learned how to use it properly. I hate it when other authors have their MC just instant learn the heroic spirit's ability. And for the time period, he is in WW2, just only a few days before the war ends when the Americans drop an atomic bomb at them. And for the Chimera, berrus-sama came up with for Hitlers last stand for the war. Thank you for reading our chapters, discord .gg /jWY5bf, be sure to leave a review if you want and have a nice day!

GOOD LUCK!

Hello, I'm co-author berrus-sama, as you can see, we left some references in the chapter, you can guess what they are. Mainly I left a reference to the jojo well hidden, can you find them.?

#Hakkai.

Hello there, im ProfesorGoblitz, im basically the guy that edits the bits and pieces so this can be readable as well for the fact adding some stuff on the side to increase the detailing as well as spice it up, if you are interesting plz check out my story on my profile. Thx!

And let me tell you, the other prototype had an ending that had me staring at it for days on end, and when I finished left me a giant headache, I truly hope you enjoy it.

you mean unlucky archers

A: despite being an otaku, he doesn't remember everything, he was trying to survive a plague that is plaguing the world.

don't make him join a pair. He basically becomes a slave

A: sorry, it is a spoiler, but it will be answered in this chapter.

in exchange for becoming a demon, but he is already an op. He has level A strength and agility, so he's 50x stronger than the human limit and 50x faster ...

You see, the MC still doesn't know how to use all the powers of the real Archer, and those that he still can't use with strength or effectiveness.
