The New Isaac, Teen Wolf

Updates every four days! The New Isaac emerges in teen wolf with his own ideas. Yes this is a slow paced but heavy story, I want to give a lot of character development along with more then just what happens in the original.

5): First Line Chance

The day passed slowly but ever time he saw Allison in the hallway they would stop and talk to one another, he really did decide that she was going to be his next best friend. When she joked about why he didn't have one already, he explained a little about himself which made he kind of sad but made her fall into being his friend that much more.

He didn't talk about the abuse that was to heavy for people who just met, but he did talk about being a loner in school since no one seemed to notice him. Well besides Danny who also hit it off with her when they were all talking in the hall, he had to catch her before lunch though so that they wouldn't be surround at his table.

Isaac had sent a message to Danny explaining it to him getting a thumbs up in return, he didn't mind Isaac not joining for lunch since he saw sometimes how uncomfortable the guy was. Although Isaac had a lot of confidence he was still getting over the previous emotions, since they didn't all go away he still had trouble some times being in large groups of people, he always needed to push those emotions down.

When he had met with Allison he had also seen Scott watching them, it was Stiles this time who was the one who had to bring Scott back from staring at the girl, which she was noticing. He could see that she was interested herself though, Scott had created a whole mystery about himself when he decided that he was going to let her borrow a pen, she was now wondering how he even knew about it.

It was the end of the day now and he was headed to his locker, where he could see that Allison and Lydia were talking, Jackson was walking up on them though coming from behind Lydia. He also saw that Scott and Stiles were watching her from across the hall with another girl, he knew what scene was playing at this moment and thought that Lydia was a great friend for her, while Jackson was still a jackass.

"Football's a joke in Beacon. The sport here is lacrosse. We've won the state championship for the past three years." He heard Jackson say as he was standing right next to the guy, he could see the smirk on his face as some football players were walking right past them.

"Hey Jackass move you are blocking my locker." Isaac said staring at the side of the guys head before he looked over at Allison with a smile, "If I didn't know better I would be calling you the stalker here, maybe you changed lockers learning where mine is."

She laughed which took his breath away, he couldn't look away from her as she was doing it her pink lip breaking into a wide smile as he moved Jackson out the way to get to his locker. Lydia looked lost but he didn't worry about her, subconsciously he unlocked his locker but he still didn't take his eyes away from Allison as he collected his books.

"You are staring again, so you might want to rethink who the stalker is here." She said with a giggle moving closer to him, he could tell she was uncomfortable by the stare that Jackson had been giving her.

"Maybe." He said with a light chuckle.

"Well, we have practice in a few minutes. That is, if you don't have anywhere else-" Jackson said trying to regain control over the conversation no like being pushed to the side and being ignored by the two of them.

Allison looked nervous as she look from him to Jackson and Lydia, "Well, I was going to-"

"Perfect! You're coming." Lydia said while reaching out and taking one of her hands not giving her a chance to decline.

Isaac rolled his eyes but bumped his hip into hers as they made their way down the hall, "Come on you can cheer me on as I try to make first line, well attempt to since this is just a practice so it is just first looks."

That seemed to wash away all her nervousness as she nodded her head following Lydia willingly this time, "Well that sounds fine then. Though don't expect me to go all cheerleader out there."

He pouted while putting a hand across his chest, "So I don't get to see you in a short little skirt as you parade around cheering for me, you should probably leave then."

She laughed pushing him towards the locker room where she saw Jackson walk into, "Shut up and go get dressed, if you are good enough I might just do that at your very game."

His eyes were shinning some as he tisked, "Tch, promises promises Allison, don't say something you aren't ready to do yet."

Going into the locker room he saw that everyone was getting ready, moving over to his locker he went straight and grabbed his equipment, though he saw he would need to by new mesh soon. As he moved further in he saw Scott glare at him, he just raised a brow as if he didn't know what was going on before he started to get dressed as fast as he could.

Once he had everything on he left the same time as Danny who had gotten there before him, all they did was bump fist before walking out, Danny still had headphones in as they walked out there. Danny was a good defender so he knew that he was going to be joining first line, which is why the guy wasn't looking to worried about practice at the moment, Jackson couldn't win all those games alone.

Getting to the field he looked to the stands to see Allison and Lydia already there, he smiled waving at her, she waved right back with a big smile to match his own. Again he couldn't help but to get lost in her smile, it seemed that all she needed to do was the slightest thing and it would gain his attention, which wasn't a bad thing but it was bad thing for his heart.

He didn't know how long he would stick to his actual plan of not going after her if she kept looking at him like that, though he couldn't really speak since his eyes were shinning when he looked at her. Danny could attest to that as he shook his head standing right next to the guy, he had been seeing it all day but never mentioned anything, he would wait until Isaac saw it himself that he was already to far gone.

"McCall" Coach yelled gaining everyone's attention.

"You're on goal." Coach said looking at him.

"I've never played." Scott said not looking at all confident about it, even if Allison had been looking at him since his name was yelled out by the coach.

Coach grinned while patting him on the shoulder, "I know - scoring some shots will give the boys a confidence boost. It's a first day back thing. Get 'em energized, fired up!"

Scott frowned while asking, "What about me?"

Coach basically shrugged him off as he urged him, "Try not to take any in the face. Let's go! Come on!"

Everyone one else moved to line up to take shots, since it was first practice it was everyone so they could all get a chance to show off their shot, it would be harder to stand out during the scrimmage so they needed to shine in both. Isaac ended up standing right in front of Jackson, he could see that everyone was slowly starting to get impressed with Scott catching each ball that was thrown at him.

Finally it was his turn and since Scott seemed to be a beast in goal he was going to change that, he shot a quick glance to the stands and saw that Allison was impressed with what Scott was doing too, so was Lydia. Smirking in his own helmet he ran forward a little before pulling back and releasing the ball with all his power.

As the ball sailed through the air looking like it was heading straight to where Scott was going to catch it no one noticed the little burst of fire that changed it course. The ball curved at the last moment with Scott not being able to react in time as it sailed inside, the guys in line cheered seeing it go in as Scott looked confused on why he couldn't catch the ball.

"That's what I'm talking about Lahey, keep taking shots like that and you will be making first line." Coach yelled with excitement happy someone was finally able to make a shot, though he was also happy McCall was able to stop so many.

Isaac smiled while backing away to the side since he had taken his shot, he didn't look at the stands but he wanted to watch Jackson's shot get blocked too. It wasn't long before the captain was pissed as he looked at his shot which was planted firmly in Scott's meshing on his stick, this kept going until everyone had a shot.

"Well let's see if it was luck or skill, Lahey get out there and take another shot." Coach said keeping McCall in goal as Isaac made his way back to starting position.

When the whistle sounded Isaac noticed that Scott put a lot more concentration into it, he must have really loved the cheers he was getting from Allison who was joined by Lydia. Running forward Isaac took another shot which just like the first seemed to be close to being caught but changed last moment, though this time Scott seemed ready for that to happen.

He wasn't ready for it to do one last curve though as another small burst hit the ball making it narrowly miss Scott being able to grab it, with a smile he took off his helmet and made his way to the side.

"Good stuff out there Lahey, I don't know where you got those crazy shots from but they are working for you. Play like that at the Scrimmage on Friday and you will have a shot at first line for sure." Coach said to him while patting him on the back seeing as he was the only player to score on McCall today.

Isaac nodded before looking into the stands, Allison was making her way down seeing as practice was over and she was heading out but she was walking right over to him, "Well who knew you were such a superstar huh?" she teased while patting his chest.

"Awe shucks who little old me? I didn't think you realized since your eyes were practically glued to McCall in goal." He said teasing her right back, he laughed when a blush took over her cheeks as that was pointed out.

"Well he just played really well out there. Anyway I wanted to let you know I am taking off I will see you tomorrow but do be sure to text me tonight if you want to talk." She said while leaning over kissing his cheek before she skipped off.

Danny at that moment walked over patting him on the shoulder, "Looks like you might actually get the girl man, we still working out today?"

"Yeah we are, and who knows she was watching Scott real close today." Isaac said not letting it effect him, he was the type to let things happen naturally if he ended up with the girl then that was just fine by him. If not then he could wait it out if that is what was going to happen.
