26 The War is Still Going on?

The Invasion of Kyoto was a major surprise to the world since the last they heard between the Japanese Empire and the Arcadian Empire was that peace Negotiations was going.

Now a day later the Arcadian Empire has invaded the Capital of the Japanese Empire Kyoto during the day that the Peace negotiations were supposed to happen.

To the world it seemed like the Arcadian Empire were in the wrong and they were even scrutinized because of this since they had signed a cease fire agreement between the two before the Peace negotiations took place.

Ever since hearing about the attack on Kyoto many world powers have begun to even condemn the Arcadian Empire for breaking the cease fire treaty between the two.

Although this wasn't a big deal since a cease fire treaty wasn't an end to a war but just a prelude to the peace negotiations that would end the war instead.

The other powers just wanted a reason to go against the Arcadian Empire and weaken their influence that they had in the world.

Many of the Arcadian Empire embassies around the world had to deal with constant protest from the Host nations about what was going on in Japan.

The embassies didn't know what to do since the military kept telling them that the situation in Japan will be explained soon.

So all the embassies could do was to wait deal with the constant protest of the other major powers in the world.

Russia who was not an ally of Japan didn't like the fact that they were getting beat by the Arcadian Empire which would threaten their interests in the region.

So the Russian Military had moved a bunch of military units to their Eastern Command which was headquartered in Vladivostok.

The Russian Pacific Fleet had began patrolling the sea and blocking all Arcadian Navy vessels from passing through the Northern side of the Japanese Sea.

The Arcadian Navy just went around and avoided the trouble of starting another war with the Russian Federation.

While the world was reacting to the invasion of Kyoto the Arcadian military had taken Kyoto the Capital of Japan and the Center of the Japanese Government.

Unfortunately the Japanese Royal Family had been escorted to Tokyo where a new Command Center was set up. They had also retreated most of their forces away from Kyoto and surrounded the City on all sides.

Jarvis at this time was sitting in the temporary command center inside of the Heli-carrier that was floating above the city.

"Is the broadcast ready" Asked Jarvis.

"Yes your majesty the broadcast will be connected to all the news stations across the world once you start speaking" Said Ova as she was standing next to him since after what happened she did not want to leave his side.

"Alright begin recording now" The Officer operating the Camera had showed a thumbs up to indicate that they were broadcasting.

Jarvis took a deep breathe before he spoke his next words "I'm sure the world is shocked at my invasion of Kyoto during what was supposed to be a Peace Conference. But unfortunately such a thing didn't happen because the Japanese Emperor Asano Eisen attacked me during these negotiations" After he said this a video played that lasted about 3 minutes showing the scene of the Imperial Japanese Guards attempting to touch Jarvis, but their hands were cut off by Ova instead.

That's when the Guards came running in and the Emperor ordered them to kill Jarvis.

Even though the video showed that the Emperor had ordered them to kill him, some people tried to argue that chopping the hands off of the Japanese Imperial Guards were a little too extreme and it could of been handled carefully.

But the Majority of people saw this as the Japanese was the ones who broke cease fire treaty and not the Arcadian Empire, so their invasion was justified under international Law.

"This is why Kyoto has been invaded so that my safety was guaranteed. But even so we will not destroy the Japanese Empire instead we will force their government to make a choice, Let go of their claims on the Chinese Subjects and this war will end but reject it and this war will not end in their favor" The broadcast had cut out as soon as Jarvis said this.

"That was a very good message your Majesty, hopefully that Emperor will listen so that this war can end" Said Ova

"If not then we won't stop and we will take over the entirety of Japan" Said Jarvis

Ova only smiled since she could see that her master had everything planned out. She could only think about the future to predict the amount of battles that they are going to get in.

At the new Japanese Central Command Located in Tokyo the Nobles had all gathered inside of the Emperor's home which he had in Tokyo. 

They wanted to talk about the end of the war and the proposal that was made from the Arcadian Empire.

"Your Majesty over 400k men have died in this war, we must out an end to it and think about the rest of the army and the people" Said Yuuki Hisatada the head of the Hisatada Noble House.

"I agree your majesty young Yuuki Hisatada makes a valid point we have not even managed to push them back an inch when we fought in Korea and now they are on our mainland we must broker a peace or else we will be overrun and defeated" Shouted Isshiki Tsuneyuki the head of the most influential noble family next to the Emperor.

If Isshiki commanded it the other nobles would not hesitate to seize the Emperor and broker a peace themselves. But his loyalty to the Emperor prevented that from happening.

Before during his meeting with Jarvis Emperor Asano thought that they might come to a reasonable treaty that would end the war but what they were asking for was too much.

If he let go of the other Chinese Subjects then he would lose a lot of influence in the region and also a lot of valuable resources.

But for the future of his nation and for the people he must choose the option he dislikes the most. 

He put his hand on his forehead as he finally accepted what he had to do "Fine I will accept the terms now contact the Arcadian Empire now" Said the Emperor

The nobles all felt a lot of stress take off of their soldiers since now they didn't have to worry about their various businesses being affected or their other properties.
