48 The Rebuilding of Cuba

On March 25th 2029 the US Officially pulled all Military personnel out of Cuba under direct Orders from the US President and Congress. President Henry Oswald was put under pressure by both Congress and US citizens to resolve this issue.

Congress held a meeting about the issue and voted on the outcome of what they should do. Almost every Senator voted to removes US troops from Cuba with only a small few voting against it.

And with congress voting on the matter President Oswald didn't have much of a choice but to order all US troops to return back to the US.

While it was the smartest thing to do to avoid a war with the Arcadian Empire it also came with some negative sides to it. Such as the Military which lost around 40 members to the invasion, now those 40 members died for nothing since the Military had to withdraw.

The top Officers of the Military was not happy with this and as a result President Oswald lost face amongst the Military.

And not only the Military but the Citizens felt the that President should be kicked out of office for wasting American lives in a false humanitarian Aid initiative which resulted in the deaths of American soldiers.

For President Oswald the start of his Presidency was not as smooth as it should have been. He can go ahead and get the idea of a second term out of his head since he probably would not be voted back into Office again.

Now back to Arcadia, Jarvis was pleased with the release of the Prisoners and the US withdrawal from Cuba. So he decided to visit Cuba in person to meet with the Military Generals who took the initiative to pave a better future for Cuba and to see how bad the country was.

He was currently onboard his Royal Jet headed towards Cuba with Kingsley and Ova who travelled with him. Because of the location of the Arcadian Continent the Jet had to travel across Mexico in order to reach the Gulf of Mexico where they will eventually land at the Airport in Havana. Escorting his jet was 4 SFJ-10 Multirole Fighters and 2 Pelicans carrying Soldiers.

Jarvis had already gotten permission from Mexico to cross over their Airspace and was ensured their safety. Jarvis didn't have any problems with Mexico and was even in the process of working closer with them to deal with the Immigration problem plaguing the country.

Because of the Cartel the Government has a very loose control over the Country as a whole and most of the Top politicians were bought out by the Cartel. But a few Politicians including the Current President of Mexico wanted to fix the problem since too many Mexican civilians were being arrested trying to cross the Border into the US.

This was something that Jarvis wanted to work together with the President of Mexico to fix. But that was for a future date, for now his jet had landed at Havana Airport.

Outside of his Jet the Arcadian Imperial Soldiers lined up in Formations outside of the Airplane to greet their Emperor.

As soon as Jarvis stepped outside of the Jet all the soldiers snapped to attention "We Greet his Majesty" Shouted All the soldiers in unison.

"At Ease" Said Jarvis as he walked down the ramp of the Jet and was greeted by General Maddax. Kingsley and Ova followed silently behind him.

General Maddax saluted Jarvis as he came closer. "At ease, General," said Jarvis, extending his hand for a handshake. General Maddax firmly shook his hand and reported, "Your majesty, our forces have taken full control of the entire island and are constantly patrolling to maintain stability in the region." They walked through formations of soldiers towards a large convoy of vehicles.

Jarvis inquired, "What about the dispersal of food and other resources?"

When questioned, General Maddax explained, "We managed to get the first shipment of food to the Island before the US troops left, but unfortunately, only about half of the Cuban population is receiving daily rations. That's why I am requesting for more shipments so we can provide food for everyone on the Island."

Jarvis exchanged a glance with Kingsley, who nodded in agreement. "General, your rations will be delivered within 12 hours for both the Cuban population and the Arcadian troops," Kingsley assured him.

"Thank you Chancellor this way we can start to build up a good relation with the Cuban people" Said General Maddax as they gotten into the car and the convoy took off.

"Your Majesty, we are en route to the Presidential Palace where the Cuban army's Generals are waiting. I have thoroughly researched their backgrounds and actions under the previous President. As per your orders, I have arrested those who abused their power while leaving the innocent Generals for you to judge," reported General Maddax.

Jarvis confidently outlined his plans to restore the Cuban government, beginning with a focus on the Military First. He expressed his belief that once a President is elected by the population, they will work together to thoroughly inspect the Cuban army and remove any individuals who could negatively impact their progress.

Cuba in 15 years will be a completely different nation and Jarvis believed that the future generations deserved to see a great Cuba rather than a depressing nations filled with Violence and suffering.
