52 Her Highness Visits

"Sir here is a complete overview of the Arcadian military from what we have collected over the years" Stated the secretary General of the United States.

President Henry Oswald looked over the information himself while his assistant read over through the report to the rest of the Staff in the Oval office.

"Their Army is comprised of highly skilled soldiers and equipped with state of the art weapons which are stronger across the board than any other country in the world. But we are working on countering that problem so let's move on" Stated the assistant as he paused for a moment for any questions.

"Next is their Airforce which I'm sure most of you are aware has Heli-carrier's which are massive flying Aircraft carriers allowing them to dominate the air wherever it flies. In addition to that their fighters are predicted to be 8th Generation fighters capable of doing both Air superiority missions, and ground support missions.

And their transport aircraft seem to resemble the Pelican's off of the video game Halo" Stated the Assistant.

That last part had caused some of the Secretaries to look up at the assistant to confirm whether or not he was telling the truth.

But upon observing him they could see that he was indeed not lying.

The secretary of defense spoke, "Their technology is decades ahead of ours, but our allocated funding for research is helping us make progress."

"True" Said the MCPON or Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy Adrian Moore. "The navy could use some of these new technologies such as the improvement in Sonar/Radar capabilities to help the navy contend with the Arcadian Navy. Because as of now our navy is 2nd to them and that gap is large" Stated Adrian.

"I will see to it that the Navy is given some of this new equipment once the budget comes out, but our main focus right now would be researching high tech technology" Stated President Oswald.

Adrian nodded in satisfaction since as long as the president promised to get them the new equipment he would not push the matter even more.

President Oswald and his advisors and secretaries stayed in the Oval office discussing future matters, and arguing over budget allocation for the next few hours.

Meanwhile back in Arcadia, a Plane had touched down at the Arcadian Royal Airport bearing the symbol of the Japanese Imperial Family.

Ever since they lost the war against the Arcadian Empire the current Emperor has been busy trying to maintain stability in the country. But the result of this was a decrease in his health.

The Japanese Empire's nobility had been relentlessly plotting to overthrow the Emperor ever since their defeat in the war with Arcadia. The primary source of instability came from the wealthy land-owning nobles on the Japanese mainland, who were causing turmoil for the Emperor.

Meanwhile the regular people who lived on the Japanese Mainland was the cause of the instability. For decades the Japanese Empire has existed and has kept the nation as one, But now it seemed that foreign interference has caused some nobles to become defiant.

Once the plane had taxied in a Hanger the Japanese Princesses, Princess Yuuma, and her younger sister Princess Sasori were escorted to the Arcadian Royal Palace where Jarvis was at.

To the public their visit was for diplomatic purposes, but their real reason was something else.

As they rode through the Arcadian City, Princess Yuuma was mesmerized by the unique scenery. She had heard that this city looked alien to most, but she couldn't believe it until now, seeing it with her own eyes.

A Modern city in Japan looked similar to the rest of the world while in the Arcadian Empire each city looked to futuristic.

Sitting next to her was her little sister who was also curious about the city.

"Sister look a flying train" Said Princess Sasori pointing to the Hover train which utilized compressed hover engines to speed up transportation and offer a smooth riding experience.

Princess Yuuma turned her head and focused on what her sister was pointing at and she too had been captured by the flying train.

The Gentleman sitting across from them in the car had begun to speak "Your Highness those are the Hover Trains created by the Arcadian Empire to offer faster and smoother transportation throughout the land" Said Takeshita Kota. He was the designated envoy for the Japanese Empire to the Arcadian Empire.

He has lived in the Arcadian Empire as a diplomat for many years and he enjoys it here. Much like the Princesses his reaction was the same when he first came here, but after a while he got used to it.

Princess Yuuma hearing Takeshita's words was amazed at how the Arcadian Empire could have such a thing. She heard rumors and stories and seen pictures but she never expected them to be true.

"Wow" Said Princess Yuum as she watched the train pass by. And it wasn't just that but the cars were different as well and the people looked to be happy while walking to their destination.

After a short drive they had arrived at the Royal Palace at one of the Guard Gates which led into the front yard of the Palace.

Once they pulled up to the Gate the Guards approached their vehicle and pulled out a device which flashed for quick second before the Guard put the device down and waived them inside.

Seeing that Princess Yuuma was looking at the device Takeshita explained it to her "Your Highness that is a scanning device which the Royal Guards use to make sure that we don't have nothing that we shouldn't have. Normally your Royal Guards would not be allowed to carry weapons inside of the Palace, but since you are the Princess of another nation they are permitted to carry them" Explained Takeshita.

He had seen many people get their weapons confiscated trying to enter the Palace.

The convoy entered the Palace grounds and followed the road up to the entrance where more guards were waiting for them.

Once the Convoy stopped the Japanese Royal Guards dressed in suits had got out and opened the door for Princess Yuuma and Princess Sasori.

Takeshita was the first to emerge followed by the two Princesses. In front of them was a Woman whom they had seen before whether it was on the news or even in person during their visit to the Japanese Mainland.

"Nice to see you again" Said Ova as she gave a slight bow showing respect to Princess Yuuma whom was royalty from another nation.

Princess Yuuma returned the bow "It's nice to see you too Lady Ova, I'm glad that we get a chance to speak with each other once again" Princess Yuuma smiled at Ova eager to talk with her even more.

Ova then turned to Princess Sasori and did the greeted her as well.

Princess Sasori returned the bow and greeted Ova as well.

"Now if the two of you will follow me we will head to where his majesty is" Said Ova as the two began to follow them.

Trailing behind the two Princesses were their Royal Guards, along with a handful of Dragonnewts who served as Ova's personal warriors.

As they made their way towards where Jarvis was, Princess Yuuma and Ova chatted and got to know each other better. Along the way, they discovered many shared interests and realized that they had a lot in common.
