23 CHAPTER TWENTY THREE: WHY MUST IT BE JASON

There hasn't been any single day that passed ever since she came back to this country without one problem or the other, Anna was beginning to regret ever coming back to this place.

But meanwhile she thought Mr Edward wanted news to make his Company stay at the top notch and yet he complains when there is one.

She knows the scandals are not ture but the problem is that nobody will actually believe her since she was not even in any relationship.

Anna dressed up, got her handbag and left for the company with Stacy of course to sort whatever this nonsense is and most importantly stop Christie before she does more harm to her.

Anna got inside her car with Stacy as they drove off.

Getting close to the company she saw the crowd of reporters and paparazzi standing at the front gate of their company obviously waiting for her and she was not ready to meet those mad dogs.

As usual she covered her eyes with her black eyes shade and made use of the scarf she found at her car to try disguise herself a bit and avoid getting chewed raw by this stupid reporters all in the name of trying to get her answer their useless questions.

Anna had the thought of calling Gustavo and asking him to send securities to help her get in but knowing it won't help in any way as it will even attract more people to her, so she had to face her problems herself as she made sure she covered her face very well with the scarf she had and then instructed Stacy to drive in with the driver to create a distraction for her to pass through as she came down from the car.

Anna first had to wait at a corner for Stacy to pass through first with the car which as expected got the attention of all the reporters and paparazzi as they rushed to the car thinking she was there.

That was when she hurried up and got herself inside the company and then there was Trixie standing with her hands folded against her chest.

When she thought she had got through the problem of getting inside the company and there was the real devil standing at her front with an evil smirk she wished she could slap off her face.

Anna knew that another person who was gaining from all these bad scandals about her was Trixie because it made her get on the good side of Mr Edward including the shareholders and board members. That was when the thought crossed her mind, what if Trixie has a hand in all this because it all makes sense now.

Or was she just being delusional? Anna took a deep breath in trying to calm her nerves down before talking to Trixie because she knows Trixie must definitely say something to get her annoyed and add her problems.

"It seems like you have made it a habit to get yourself into trouble Anna" Trixie said to Anna smiling the more knowing that it was getting on her nerves.

"And I sense jealousy here because I still get all the attention to myself even after the scandals" Anna replied while coming close to her in an intimidating manner.

"What, me jealous of you? Never!" Trixie shouted at Anna as she left with her girls in annoyance she couldn't deal with the fact that Avianna was right about her being jealous of her that was so uncalled for.

Avianna smiled, she never loses in any argument especially not to Trixie as she found her way to Gustavo's office to deal with the issue she got at hand.

Avianna got to Gu's office and as usual he was yelling at everyone there like they were the cause of his problem.

She barged into the office which made everyone turn as she went to sit down at the couch waiting for everyone to be dismissed which Gustavo did.

Gustavo loosened his tie and cleared his throat trying to calm down before speaking to Anna because he knows very well that she doesn't like it when he nags at her.

"I have spoken to Mr Edward on your behalf" Gu said looking at Anna to make sure she was listening to him.

"And?" Anna asked reluctantly.

That is the one problem Gu has with Anna always acting like it was none of her concern and that annoys him the most but it seems like he has gotten used to it seeing how he ignored her attitude and continued with what he was saying.

"He thinks you should find a boyfriend immediately and have a shoot with him so this rumor will calm down" Gu announced knowing this will really get her attention.

"Ok, that is not a problem I will get some random guy paid to pose as my boyfriend for a while and the issue is solved right?, this is something you would have spoken to me over the phone than allowing me go through the stress of coming over here" Anna half scolded.

If that was the problem then she had none as Anna thought as she stood up to leave but stopped when she heard Gustavo voice behind her.

"That is it Anna is not just anyone, Mr Edward made it specific that it is either Jason or he cancels the contract he signed with you" Gu said.

Anna stood there for some minutes, she didn't know what the hell was happening, why must Jason always come up in everything.

Why must it be Jason? She knew that Jason was famous and very influential and that might be the reason why Mr Edward wanted it to be him but there are also many other male models that can also pose as her boyfriend.

Maybe she had to talk to Mr Edward herself to know if she can find out the reason for this decision.

"You might be wondering why it has to be Jason right?" Gu said coming closer to where Anna was standing.

"That is because Jason's parents own forty percent shares of the company and they are threatening to pull out if Mr Edward doesn't do what their son wants," Gu said.
