25 CHAPTER TWENTY FIVE:UNKNOWN ENEMY

"That is really brave of you Anna, but let's see how much more you will last by the time I am done with you" Christie announced.

Christie's last statement really got Anna's attention, if truly it was Christie that made some reporters cook up these lies on the internet.

However she just needed to confirm it to be sure.

"Hmmm…. Interesting T and does that imply that you are behind this scandal about me on the internet? Babygirl if that is your definition of dealing with me I guess you have to step up your game cause that was so stupid of you to think that a merely lesbian scandal can pull me down" Anna sarcastically said, trying to make Christie spill out everything.

"Oh Anna don't pretend you don't know about this scandal, who knows, if you made the reporters do this just to get the peoples attention to yourself as always" T sassed back.

Anna was a bit confused, though she had the feeling from the start that Christie might not be the one behind this scandal because that isn't really a welcoming way to get herself back into the modeling world.

And Christie should know that better than anyone else. So if not Christie then does that mean that she has another enemy out there that also wants her down?.

Anna was still hovering over her thoughts trying to figure things out when she heard Christie's voice from behind her.

"I can still see through you Anna, I guess you haven't changed much in that aspect. You think I was the one that made reporters release news that I know won't be in my Favour?Poor soul! I guess you have more enemies than I expected" Christie commented.

Avianna wasn't surprised because obviously she had more enemies than she can imagine after all she was a celebrity.

But who could that be!

"Could it be Jason? Come on Anna, think about it, Jason just showed up out of the blue and you think it is just because he genuinely wants to make up with you and go back with the way you guys were before? After so many years of choosing me over you" Christie said while smiling evilly, trying to put ideas in Avianna's head, it won't be bad after all who cares what she thinks.

"I have always told you that Jason never loved you but no, you choose to be dim witted and believe that Jason would settle for less" Christie uttered this time walking round Anna in a circle.

Anna was speechless for a moment she didn't know the truth in what Christie was saying but there was a possibility that Jason wants something from her seeing that he's trying his best to force himself back into her life even to an extent of threatening her company with his parents shares just to make sure he gets what he wanted.

Why didn't she think of that before but also knowing for a fact that T was good at manipulating people into seeing what she wants them to believe.

Then could it be that Jason was the one that made the reporters write those disgusting lies on the internet about her knowing that he would be the one to pose as his so-called boyfriend.

What is Jason really planning?

"And hope your darling Jason mentioned to you that he came here earlier to see me? Christie paused for a second to see Avianna's expression as her eyes widened in surprise. "Seeing from your expression I assume he didn't, well that is not too surprising" Christie blurted out making sure that it sinks well in Anna's head. If she can't have Jason to herself neither would Anna.

"Can you stop with your nonsense already T I told you that I was done with Jason the moment you stoop so low to f**k him behind my backs" Anna yelled.

"Fair enough Anna but I have not gotten over the fact that you stole the contract I was going to sign in exchange to f**k Jason" Christie yelled back, almost tearing up.

Wait what?!

No matter how Cain tried to hide that he was not fine, Enzo still couldn't ignore the fact and was getting pissed off trying to deal with Cain's constantly absent mindedness and still pretend like everything was okay.

If there was one reason why Enzo liked Cain that was because he was always professional when it comes to work, he never missed work with personal matters.

Enzo doesn't care to know what the problem might be because he is not the nosy boss type that wants to play the hero and solves his employees problem and if there was one thing he learnt the hard way, that was to mind his business.

But seeing that Cain has been like this ever since the night of Avianna Queen's welcome party he was really curious to know if there was something he missed that night.

He was hovering over the thoughts of that when the realization drew to him that he knew nothing about Cain or his background and he never bothered checking his background or asking him because Cain was so good with his job and made sure he separated personal feelings from work and moreover he has found Cain trust worthy cause over the last three years Cain has been working for him he has never given any him any reason to doubt his loyalty.

In a normal sense Enzo doesn't fail to check the background of his employees so as to not bring in a spy from his opponents to his company.

Unlike Enzo to worry about his employees but he assumed that Cain was worth it and if he should find any way to help him get over with his problem quickly and return back to his normal self he would definitely do that however he might as well secretly run a background check up on him firstly before trying to get involved with anything.

There was no harm in trying to get to know him more anyways.

Enzo was really distracted by Cain as he couldn't do much of his office paperwork cause he was worried for Cain but as always he wouldn't allow it to show on his face or let his guards down as he still maintained the mean expression he always wears on his face, slightly taking a glance at Cain as the was standing at the door with his hand fold at his back.

Enzo was still pondering over Cain's matter when he heard Cain's phone ring and with few words he answered the call

"I will be with you in a sec".

Enzo didn't need him to say anything knowing that reporter Kim had arrived.
