9 Summer Queen

"Surprise motherf*ckers!"

With bright fiery red hair, the woman looked at the two men like a predator looking at its prey, and on her back, is an enormous broadsword similar to the size of a Buster Sword.

"N-no!!! W-why are you here!?"

"Oh yes~"

Both men shouted with horror as they plumped down on the ground and crawled backwards. Morty's companion even pissed his pants from fear, and when Ronin saw that, he couldn't help but turn his head to the only woman in the room and said, "Whoa~ these two are really scared of you Boss. Jack even peed on his pants"

"Shut up, and when is the police coming? They're always late"

The woman called Summer Queen snapped at him with a serious look on her face, which made Ronin shut up, and made the two men who came with the red haired woman laugh as they walked over to Morty and Jack and tied them up.

The two men didn't even bother putting up any resistance as despair already filled their faces.

"But I didn't expect that crazy bastard would actually send two of his executives here. Their plan for expansion here must be important" Summer Queen mumbled to herself as she felt that there's an underlying secret with that man's sudden interest in expanding their influence here when there's only a few superhumans that emerged in the entire province of Ilocos Norte.

Summer Queen turned her head towards Ronin and said, "Right, before I forget again. Give me a run down about what happened in the town market"

"Alright," replied Ronin.

He then gave a short summary of what happened at the scene.

And when a certain name came up, her eyes couldn't help but turn sharp and looked directly at Ronin's eyes, "Michael Grey? Do you have his profile?"

"I do, boss" Ronin quickly took out his smartphone, and tinkered around it before showing it to her.

"Here"

Summer Queen took the phone from him and looked at the person's photo on the profile and couldn't help but chuckle, "Haaa! Look at this guy, he didn't even tell me that he became a superhuman already"

Meanwhile, the siren sound of multiple police vehicles approaching in the distance finally resounded after a minute of waiting.

The other two who came with her couldn't help but turn their heads towards them out of curiosity after hearing the conversation taking place between them, while Ronin on the other hand couldn't help but get startled, and asked, "This...you know him, boss?"

"This bastard, he'll get an earful from me later. Anyway, those fellows are finally here" Summer Queen didn't answer Ronin's question and instead turned her attention towards the bellowing siren of police cars that's gradually approaching where they are.

Then she turned her head towards the two standing guard beside the two criminals and ordered, "Aiden and Ethan, get those two crazies out"

"Yes ma'am!" Both men answered at the same time before turning their attention towards the two Antis kneeling on the floor.

"Get on your feet, or we'll drag you out!" The two men yelled angrily at the two when they saw that they're just blankly staring at the floor like they had just lost their souls.

In the end, Aiden and Ethan had no choice but to grab the rope tied around them and carried the two of them outside of the house like they're fruit baskets.

Five police cruisers arrived along with an ambulance and a customized armored box truck meant for imprisoning dangerous criminals.

If Michael was here, he would have recognized two of the officers who came here as Officer Jenny and her partner.

Surprisingly, the police chief actually led this team officers over, showing just how serious this matter is.

And he wasn't even surprised when he saw that it was Summer Queen's team that had tracked down and arrested those two Antis and tipped them about this sudden operation, as it wasn't some confidential information that couldn't be shared in public that most superhumans hate the antis just as much as latter hates them.

"Thank you for coming here, Chief"

The police chief smiled brightly and shook her hand saying, "Don't say that. It's an honor working with you ma'am, and don't worry about those. We'll make sure to send them inside those place"

"Of course, these people should suffer a fate worse than a death penalty" replied Summer Queen while talking about something scary like death penalty, like it was just another light subject to speak about.

The two of them conversed in small talks, while the other officers barricaded the house and searched every nook and cranny of the place for anything that would point out to the HQ of this terrorist organization.

On the other hand, when Morty was about to be sent to the customized box truck. He happened to spot Ronin flirting with a female officer.

And of course, that wasn't what attracted his eyes, but the green gooey looking thing similar to a slime and only has a simple pair of dot eyes and a line for a mouth.

"ROOONIN!!! You were a superhuman all along!?"

Morty went almost insane when he saw that and yelled in anger while being restrained by the officers around him.

His yell quickly attracted everyone's attention, and the person being addressed to only turned his head towards Morty and smiled, then he suddenly did this ridiculous but funny scene of playfully pulling out a finger heart from his chest and showed it to Morty with a wink, which made the latter even more insane before he got forcefully stuffed inside the customized prison.

"Arrggh!!! RONIN! I won't forget this betrayal!!! Do you hear me, you bastard!? The others will avenge!!"

The sound of Morty yelling kept resounding from inside the container along with Jack who followed suit with his own cursing at Ronin.

Ronin just clicked his tongue and said, "Betrayal? We were never comrades to begin with, so how can it be considered a betrayal. Am I right, officer?"

"Y-yes, I think you're right"

The beautiful female officer was flustered that Ronin kept flirting with her with his lousy skills, and even though she really wanted to get away from him, she could only smile forcefully and agree with him as she stuttered.

She was just afraid of offending him, and could only go along with him.

Ronin's smile brightened and misunderstood her reactions that she's interested in him, and when he was about to open his mouth and say something again, a cold sinister voice of a woman interrupted him and took that chance away from him.

"Ronin! Stop with flirting with the female officer! Can't you see that she doesn't like your lousy flirting skills!? Go get the car ready, we're leaving!"

Hearing Summer Queen yelling at him from behind, Ronin suddenly looked sad and embarrassed, and so he asked the female officer in front of him after a little hesitation, "Be honest, Is my flirting skills really that terrible?"

Looking at his sorry expression, the woman suddenly felt sorry for him and could only tell him honestly, "Yes, you might be a superhuman, but not every woman would be bedazzled with your status. So, you should at least improve your flirting skills if you want to impress a woman who's not after your status and wealth"

Hearing her, Ronin didn't say anything and just started walking away, but then he stopped after taking his seventh step and turned around, "Officer, what's your name?"

The woman chuckled and said, "Me? I'm Jill"

"As you've already heard, name's Ronin, and sooner or later, you're going to be mine" said Ronin before he quickly walked away and headed to their car.

This time, it was the officer's turn to be embarrassed as she wasn't expecting to hear those words from him, especially when she saw those teasing looks her colleagues threw at her that she quickly ran away and went inside the house to help the others.

"It's good to be young," said the police chief with a bright expression, along with a scheming glint that flashed in his eyes.

On the other hand, Summer Queen that cunning glint in the chief's and could only shake her head and thought, 'I should ask Aiden or Ethan again to teach that bastard how to properly talk to a woman'
