Absorb Mana Pill

"I return home directly after giving the exam, and when I reach back home, I see my aunt peeling vegetables.

"Aunt," I say as I walk towards her.

"Huh? Don't you go to the exam? Why are you back so early?" She asks, looking at the clock and then at me.

"Well," I scratch my cheek and reply, "The exam is easy; I complete it in just five minutes."

My aunt's eyes widen in surprise before she lets out a soft laugh, "I win the bet."

"What bet?"

"Well, Emily and I make a bet. If you clear the exam in half an hour, then I win; otherwise, Emily wins. But really, this is fast!" She is still surprised by the speed.

Since coming to this world, I practice writing, and somehow my writing speed becomes fast without any mistakes. Since I know all the answers, with my writing speed, it doesn't take much time to finish the exam.

"Well... Are you making food at this time?" I ask as I sit beside her.

"Emily is hungry, so I'm making some for her. Do you want to eat together?" She asks.

"Yeah," I reply, and then I also help her peel the vegetables and assist her in the kitchen.

After we finish making dinner, we call Aunt Emily, and she comes down from upstairs, surprised to see me. When we tell her that I finish the exam in just five minutes, she is genuinely happy and not sad that she lost the bet. I'm happy to have Aunt Emily.

After that the three of us spend time together, watching some TV shows, going to the park, and having fun together.

At night, Aunt Emily and I are lying on the sofa, watching a show. I glance at Aunt Emily; she is wearing a tight top and pants, with the top covering her neck and long sleeves, and the pants reaching her ankles. I think she doesn't need to wear such clothes at home, but then I don't know what Aunt Emily is been through that she hate her hair so much.

"Dev, come here," I hear a voice and turn my head to see Aunt Evelyn in her white nightgown, which is transparent but thicker at her breast. I walk over, and Aunt Emily follows me.

As I approach her, she holds my hand, opens it, and places something in my palm, saying, "Take this pill. It won't have an instant effect, but it will help you tomorrow, and I'll be there to support you."

Looking at my hand, I see a white marble-like pill. I recognize it; it's a Mana Pill.

"Aunt... This... This is too valuable," I hesitate, knowing that even S-Grade individuals would spend everything to buy one of these. Consuming one pill grants a person a lifetime boost in strength. If an A-Grade fights another A-Grade who took a Mana Pill, the one who consumes it will always win.

Aunt says she will give me all ten pills. If I consume all of them, I can get much closer to the strength of a protagonist, but should I take it?

"Just take it, okay," she insists forcefully.

"I'll do my best to reach A Class," I say and gulp down the Mana Pill. I have to save my aunt from enemies, so I shouldn't overthink it and just take it to be prepared when that day comes.

I don't want to lose her just because I am weak, and now whatever happens, I must get to A Class.

I feel a hot rush in my stomach, sit cross-legged, and sense a burst of mana around my body, traveling all over. I fully concentrate to ensure this mana spreads through every part of my body.

"Yes, I'm planning to give these pills to my child, but she has God Level talent. She doesn't need it, so I will give it to my second child, Devin," Evelyn says and smiles at Devin, who is fully concentrating on channeling mana in his body, not hearing anything.

"But... Hasn't your husband left? I thought you would give the pills to him."

"He is a Duke; he already has a lot of things, so there is no need to give this to him," Evelyn shakes her head and says.

"Well, if you're sure about this, you should still tell this to your husband."

"I will."

After eating the Mana Pill, I feel changes happening in my body. It's growing stronger, although it will take time to fully absorb the effects of the pill. I have gained some strength.

"We will come back after an hour to support you. Do your best, okay?" Aunt Evelyn says at the entrance of my house.

"Of course, I will become an A-Class. I promise I won't let our trip and the Mana Pill go to waste," I nod.

"Don't put too much stress on yourself. Just do your best and don't injure yourself too much," she kisses my forehead and gently says.

"Okay, I'm going now," I say and leave the house as I head to the academy.

After entering the gate of the academy, I notice something strange. Many girls and boys are looking at me with disgust and disdain evident in their eyes.

I frown, wondering what's going on. Everything was fine yesterday. Could completing the test in five minutes really be enough to arouse such disgust from the students?

No, it's not... Then what the hell is going on?

"He is the person who rapes a girl."

"What? He is one? He doesn't look like someone who would do that."

"He is the one who did it. If that girl hadn't committed suicide, then this bastard would be in jail, not here."

I hear many things like this on my way, and it seems that Eli is spreading the rumors. Suddenly, I remembered something.

My face goes pale as I try to run away somewhere safe. I run and go to the backside of the building.

I think today is my worst luck. I see three students here – one tall, one short, and one with a dangerous-looking, bulky body.
