Chapter 13: Snag

     Memories flashed on your mind that made you gripped your head, the other members noticed your reaction and all of them shook there head, no one wants another drastic war occur again, not after what happened 10 years ago, more like 700 years ago when the sun was devoured by blood.

     Due to the unwanted memories, you suddenly felt dizzy, almost everyone knew what's the reason that your being this way and what you have gone through.

     All the memories starts to flood on your mind, the painful memories of the past that you tried hard to escape, but still, fate doesn't allow you it only slap you more of your regrets.

     Due to this sudden snag and memories, you almost fall from your chair, but luckily Hugo and Zake are fast enough to held you in your sides tight enough to avoid any further worse outcomes, everyone almost jump to help you, but held themselves because the two guys already got a hold of you.

     "Hey, are you alright?" Your brother asked you with full concern while Zake is lightly stroking your back, you held both of there hands confirming that you are fine as you sit straight in you chair again.

     As they saw what happened, all of them are confused on it, sure it is scary that they had received the crystal of death, but why are you reacting that way?

     "Hey, elders? What's happening to elder Sandara?" Tejin asked as they all looked at them seeing Collete almost breaking down and cry, but she held it in not wanting to worry the others "Bad memories is what that crystal brought Sandara, something that we don't wanna talk about at the time, so please understand" Stephanie stated as she hugged Collete, the others smiled reassuringly that they understand, even Kiejen who is pensively sitting besides Sleire with teary eyes utter no words, but as friend, Sleire understand him and gave him a hug followed by the others.

     While all the younger are having a breakdown, the kings are panicking on how are they supposed to protect Earth now that a crisis is threatening to happen.

     As you were regaining your sanity, the guests are starting to panic, some of them are asking what they should do and some are already arguing, the guy with silver hair tried to calm the guest as you start to manage the mess around you "Please calm down, all of you!" you commanded as they wordlessly obeyed "Sorry about earlier, you know I'm not in the right state of mind, I was taken aback from this news, and as of now we'll try to figure out what is the best option for us so stop arguing" you stated calmly and the members nod in agreement.

     "This news only mean one thing... War... Based on the current state of them, this is just a warning and they will only send small numbers of vercons at the time so first, since the other four sergries had enough magic to defend there kingdoms except Earth, I would like to have a private talk to the Kings of this certain sergrie later, so please stay because I have an idea about the problems your dealing with" you claimed as you looked at the royals and they all nod in agreement "Second, as we all know that some of our strong fighters are still underage and still studying in Yume, so Zake..." You turned towards him and he looked at you ready to obey your command "I suggest you to take a good look on each one of them, and all that are capable... Give them a lot more advanced lessons that they can handle, to prepare if anything gets out of hand" he nod and didn't even questioned you.

     "Jade, as for your sergrie, this might be a lot work but we can't risk anything now as this sergrie is the easiest to invade" you said as you lean at the table and place your chin in both of your hands that is intertwined with each other "I asked for you and the rest of Mearille to plant and grow a lot more trees and other plants all over the sergrie, make it like a abandoned land, grew them as high as possible enough to cover everything, and after that I'll ask some weather fairies to cover the lands with mist and fog to prevent any fire users to take advantage, and to lure any vercons and give you the time to make a move before they can even do" she nod but asked you back "It's a good idea, but how about the crops? What should we do about it? we all know that our sergrie only depends on it" She questioned you and you hum while nodding.

     "The harvest season is near right? Try to do what I said in the parts that are clear and able to sustain it, and leave the farms open for now until the harvestinh is done so that the crops can still grow until it was ready, I'll remind the weather fairies to leave the meadows open until then, and when everything is done and the harvesting's finished, tell them to grow crops that are suitable for the change of climate so that we can proceed to cover it all" the guests nod satisfied with your quick solution "As you wish" she confirmed.

     "As for Neonigh, the sergrie is the hardest to invade than the others, even so make sure that all the possible entrance are covered with the spell Specks of Night, also make sure that everyone are ready in case that you need to fight back" you claimed and the guy with silver hair replied "As you just said, our sergrie is the hardest to invade than the others, so... I myself offer our assistance, if ever anyone needs it" you nod at him "Thanks Ian" the others gave him a warm smile.

     "Everyone in Eventide are capable of fighting, as Earth needs more assistance tha the others as we speak, I suggest that I'll send some of my people to guard it, it's the least I can do"  Zake announced and the members looked at the kings and asked if they are in favor with it, after a short talk, they all agreed and you continued "Putting Earth's safety here is our main priority" Ian claimed

You nod "Lastly Luminous, I asked if all the leaders, royalties and my grandfather if you would allow me to cover it with the golden clouds and light particles to provide a weapon and first line of defense to prevent the first waves of there forces" one of them raised there hand "Yes, Alpha Sam?" You questioned "As the leader of all the alphas in Luminous, may I ask your permission for us to roam everywhere and we can report it if someone or something tried to invade the lands from it's every corners".

     The alpha sternly spoke, you looked at the others, and they're seems into the idea "Then Alpha Sam, I allow you and the other werewolves to roam the lands, except the south which where all the vampire territories are located, as I have faith that they got this situation under control" you confirmed and the alpha gave you a assuring smile, and the vampire king nod.

     "We also need someone to spy at the enemies, but I'm dead sure that they expect it to be that way, we won't allow them to play the cards against us, so..." You looked at the rows of the guests from Eventidians "I'm putting all my faith on you Gameil and the rest of our fellow assassins" you said to the guy with a scar on the top left corner of his head down to his eye "We won't let all of you down, even if we risk our lives" he said

"And I wish it won't end up with that" Hugo and Zake said in unison "In short, everyone must be ready and prepare" Jade added "Not only to ones in the front line" Ian continued as you nod "One reckless decision and everyone's lives will be at stake" Yoongi added "That's why I wont move on my own" you looked at the others with dark eyes.

     "I need everyone's help, this situation is not a joke this battle is not for the five of us to handle alone" they all looked at you and the other members returned you the same dark gaze "May our path be prosperous!" everyone said in chorus, the meeting went on as the carveths discussing every possibilities of the current situation and giving each other ideas and the garthems helping there carveths.

"With all that, I declared that this meeting has now officially reached it's end" you declared and the seats starts to moved again and slowly making its way down as they were near, the ground appeared again as well as the celling, they're all back at the common room.

     The other guests bid there goodbyes at each other and leave, while the ones from earth stay "Woah, that meeting is insane, I never imagine that in the first time I enter this place, they'll discuss something huge matter like that" Attiya commented as she hugged herself because goosebumps is still crawling and won't leave her body "Sorry for the wait your majesties and our friends, let's go" Hugo politely spoke completely different from the side he showed in the meeting and in school, he then gestured them to follow him.

     "Is he really Hugo?" Keith whispered "Yes I'm sure it's him, I was just surprised that he's so awake all the time and during the meeting, all his suggestions are perfect, he's creeping me out" Nixie whispered back.

'Guys, did you forgotten that I can read and hear your mind?' "Sorry we forgot!" Due to his sudden voice, the two blurted out in shock while the Kings looked at them worriedly "Forgot what?" The king of Vermillion asked "N-nothing your majesty, please forgive us" the two of them bowed nervously, and he can't help but to giggle.

     They entered a room similar like the common room expect it only consist of couches and a coffee table, the entire council looked like a small version of a palace, inside the room, you, Zake and your garthems are discussing if Zake's fine with the idea "Why not? I mean they had potential and I would be thrilled if we ourselves mentor them, they can be a potential garthems for elder Hugo to top it" he spoke his thoughts out at the same time the door opened revealing the Earthians and it's carveth.

     "Please take a sit your majesties" you stood up and gestured them to take a sit "Guys this is Zake, the carveth of Eventide as so you know" you addresses your friends and they smiled at him "Now your majesties, tomorrow I'll send some of my regiment and maybe some of the high ranked officials if they agree, so please informed everyone about it" Zake started

"Thank you Zake for your generous offer but Sandara, they can protect us indeed but how are we supposed to protect the entire sergrie when something's happen? We don't want to be a burden" You take a glance towards your garthems and the two other carveth then back to the king of Shearen.

     "Well, as I have said earlier I no... We have an idea on how to resolve the matter, and I'm afraid it involves your children" you stated as calmly as possible as the royals looked at you in shock, the others seems struck by your statement as well "And that is..." You begin "To bring them in Yume so that they can study advance magic and martial arts" Zake finished "And also that, everything that can be solved without us, can be relied on them" Hugo explained and the Kings looked at each other reluctantly as they seems not in favor for it, if they agree .they all know that all the heirs can't sustain the range of magic that is used in Eventide, if there quite reckless, they could meet there demise real quick.

     "We'll only start if all of you are in favor for it, if not, then I'm afraid we need to engulf the entire sergrie with the Black Rain" the Kings widened there eyes on your words and the others looked at them confused "It would be a risky thing to do, it can kill everyone who it touches with no excuses" you shook your head and the others widened there eyes, your praying that all you don't have to do such thing and risk innocent lives "I personally prayed that it won't be our last resort" Hugo blurted.
