31 This Means War

The holy church, known for being the protector of Crigor, always standing for justice and punishing evil. Many people like the holy church because they believe they are safe but many disagree and believe their way of doing things is not something a holy church should be doing.

Roxy has been faithful to the church and the people but despite that they all turned against her in an instant, many believe she deserves it because of how cruelly she kills people. Her execution would last a whole month, she would get nailed to a cross and spend the whole month only drinking water and no food, if she is not dead by the end of the month then they would take extreme measures and burn her alive as a sacrifice to the goddess.

The bishop stares at Davy with veins popping on his head, he knows Davy from the picture provided by the goddess and he also knows how much the goddess likes him so he can't afford to recklessly attack him or the judgement will fall upon him as well. Davy turns and coldly looks at Roxy's friends, he is disappointed at how they threw away their teammate, he looks back at Roxy and she is staring back at him with a fragile face screaming for help.

"So, what will it be, will you hand her over or will I need to wage war against you?" he asks as his aura starts leaving his body like smoke.

"Tsk, why do you want her so bad that you are willing to make the church your enemy?" the bishop asks with a really annoyed look on his face.

"Well that's quite simple, I like her and I think she is wasting her talents here." He nonchalantly replies while looking around to determine the numbers of the church.

"That's it?" The bishop is dumb-founded.

"What did you expect? Not every little thing needs some grand reasoning. This is dragging on too long so answer me already."

"Sigh." The bishop looks at the pop and they both nod, he walks towards Roxy, Davy gets ready to attack but the bishop doesn.t harm her, he frees her and hands her over to Davy.

"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS, WHY IS THE EVIL BITCH BEING SET FREE?" a random person shouts from the crowd gathered.

"YEAH, WE DEMAND AND ANSWER." Everyone starts shouting because they want her to be killed.

"Stay out of this." Davy says in a really dark tone as he glares at the crowd, they all go silent as they sensed danger from him, he looks back at the bishop and takes on last look at Roxy's so called friends, "Pathetic," he walks away and the girls follow behind, the pope arrives beside the bishop.

"Is it really fine letting them go like this?" the bishop asks.

"It's fine, we can't harm someone that our goddess is eyeing, let's just let him be and let the goddess deal with him."

"As you wish."

They head back inside the church and the crowd started leaving, everyone is staring at Davy as he walks in the streets carrying Roxy, he doesn't care what people think and keeps on walking, the girls however don't think like Davy, they send killing intent to everyone who dares to stare at them.

"Ugh, it hurts so bad." Roxy whispers as she has no energy.

"Just relax, I am healing you right now but you also need something to eat because you look really skinny."

"Why did you save me?"

"Like I said, I like you and your potential is wasted here."

"You are so weird, sniff, t-thank y-you so much." She starts crying because she got betrayed and thought she would die.

"Hehe, no problem, let's go on an adventure together."

"okay." She replies with a smile on her face as she slowly falls asleep.

They reach a food stand and Davy starts buying some food and drinks, a kid runs up to him with tears running down her chick. "Hm? Aren't that girl from the alley, why are you running and crying?", he crouches down and she instantly hugs him.

"Some m-mean people came and s-started beating everyone, some of my friends a-are not breathing anymore, please help us mister

"WHAT?" Davy snaps, his aura covers the area which scares everyone, his eyes glowing red, he hands Roxy to Suzy and Sakura, "Should we come with you?" Suzy asks.

"Trust me, you don't want to see what I am about to do, just keep Roxy and the kid safe." He replies with a really angry look on his face.

"Ah, okay."

He runs off, his first step left a huge crack on the ground, he is running so fast he is creating wind pressure that sends people in the street flying back, he sees one of the guards choking a kid, he pulls out his sword and cuts his arm clean off. The guard screams in pain, Davy turns around, picks up the kid and slices the guard in half, the kid sees the guts and passes out while vomiting.

Davy looks into the alley and sees people from the church and guards ruthlessly killing people with smiles on their faces, Davy looks in shock as kids are screaming in pain, he grits his teeth and coats his sword in aura and charges in, they all notice him and try to kill him but he easily dodges and cuts them into pieces, guts get send flying, blood splashing on his face and clothes

More and more guards keep coming to help but Davy keeps slaughtering them, after 20 minutes the battle ends with Davy sitting on a pile of bodies covered in blood from head to toe. The kids still alive stand up and look at Davy while crying, he gets up and walks towards the kids, they all run and jump him, he falls down as he looks at the kids smiling while still crying.

He sits and keeps looking at the kids, he slightly smiles and suddenly the kids explode. "my my, what do we have here?" A man dragging Suzy, Sakura and Roxy appears.

"A-AAAAAAAAHHHH, W-WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!!!" he yells out in shock and anger.

"oh, you seem to like those kids, too bad you messed with the holy church. I am hired by the church to deal with you, not kill you but break some bones, maybe even take an arm or something."

"I…I WILL KILL YOU." Davy enters a berserk state, he starts drawing more power from the dragon hurt and since his body can't handle it, healing and regeneration help as his body is being torn apart.

"oh, this might be bad." The man nervously says while taking a step back.

"HAHAHAHAHA, A LOW GOLD RANK DARES MESS WITH ME? YOU HAVE MESSED WITH THE WRONG GUY AND YOU ARE ABOUT TO REGRET IT AS I SHOVE MY SWORD IN YOUR ASS." He menacingly says while aura covers his body, scales appear on his face and a small horn grows on his head.

The man starts sweating, he pulls out his sword and slowly moves back, Davy looks at him and instantly appears in front of him, "I don't have time for you, move out of my way." He rips off his arms and cuts off his legs, he cuts open his stomach and pulls out an intestine and feeds it to him, he pulls out his sword and shoves it up his ass, "See, I promised didn't I?"

He picks up the girls and leaves them in an inn close by. He tells the owner to put them in rooms, he will pay once he is back. His aura is making everyone in the inn feel sick, he knows this and quickly leaves. He runs towards the holy, his eyes full of bloodlust that they are bleeding and he is so fast that no one can see him.

"Hey Medusa, let's go to war."

"Yes master." She agrees in a menacing tone.

[in the goddess realm]

"Dammit Davy, why are you doing this, dammit dammit DAMMIT, just don't die." She says while biting her nails.

Davy and Medusa arrive at the holy church and destroy the doors.
