3 Chapter 2

I was waking up in the morning and stretching. I can feel the sun's rays beam on me. This was weird because I usually leave my blinds closed. I look at the couch where Lu was sleeping yesterday. She wasn't there. I then noticed a massive hole in my wall. I quickly grab my jacket off of the coat hanger. I look through the hole and see Lu fighting Anchor. The hell happened while I was asleep. I turn around and press my gun to make it start hovering again. I turn around and barely get out of the way of Anchor getting thrown at me. Her crimson red dress now was ripped with her wires sticking out even though her movements got worse as she kept crashing. I can see her losing a lot of magical gems from this fight.

I look out at the hole in the wall again. I see Lu destroying the whole Kingdom. First of all, she will get herself killed if she continues this. I have to stop this. "Lu! Stop this. You're going to get yourself killed." I yelled at her while she was throwing a store over the horizon. I can see one of the robots leave the situation. It will probably grab reinforcements or get the main army, which is currently keeping the occupation of eastern Elysium. This is not smart, but we needed to keep it because of the treaty. Lu stops destroying the city and turns around. She makes a tentacle appear under her because She notices I am on the third floor. The tentacle lifts it to my height. Now we're around just staring at each other. I see Lu cross her hands and look at me. "Why would I be killed?" She questioned me, "The gods will interfere and stop you." She looks at me. "Why would I get killed? I'm immortal?"

I responded, "I heard from Camran that "Frey" can remove immortality from anybody." Lu tits her head a bit. "How did this "Camran" give you this information?" Alright, Alora, let's see if I remember this information. "He came to Orgate because The Reader told him to. I think she didn't, but I'll continue. He made a stand called Book Summary. Where you can ask him whatever book you have, and he'll give you a summary of the whole book. Or you can ask him a question about a book, and he can tell you." She looks at me, and I see her blue eyes glow. Is she trying to read my mind? I'll continue.

"Since it was happening in my Kingdom. I was naturally curious. So I walked up to him and asked him what he could tell me about Frey."

Great, now I'm thirsty. "Lu, can I just go into my fridge real quick and grab some water?" She nods her head, a little signifying that she can grab some water. I walk over to my fridge, grab some water, and walk back to before. I take a sip of water and start to continue. "He told me that she can remove immortality three ways. The first way was to touch a creature who's immortal and currently weakened. She uses some magic and eliminates immortality. The second was asking The Reader herself. The third is the most common theory about immortality. Does she use her spear? Paintbrush? Nobody has seen what Frey uses. But she uses her weapon to remove immortality, but it's around 95% of her power. So she takes a 20-year rest to fix her ability." I look at her and continue. "So please, Lu, don't do this. I don't want Gloria and "Frey" to kill you."

"How can you trust this "Camran"?" I looked at her with a confident smile. "Listen, Lu, I know you despise us, but a triad I knew killed the last person who tried to take over this continent." I take another sip of water. "Camran was in this group, and do I have to remind you. "Frey" and Azana help them." She gives me a surprised look. Which I thought Lu couldn't show any other emotion. "Did you just say Azana?" That caught me off guard. What does the famous second idol Azana have to do with this? "I did. May I know why you ask?" She thinks for a moment, "The adopted daughter of The Reader. Gloria told me that she is currently on vacation." Wait, The Reader. Hold on, what?! Is she on vacation? "Wait, Lu, do you know The Reader?" I asked. She looks at me and nods her head. "If you know the reader-" I was cut off by what she said. "Her real daughters Azelia and Azora are the new people who are here. That means she off with the book going somewhere." Wait if Lu knows about the book

Then I can figure out where that book came from. "Lu, do you remember everything of the Reader." She looks at me. "I just woke up; if I would go to her church, then I could be able to remember some things. I won't tho, since I want to destroy your disgusting race." I have to think about this and act accordantly. Let's convince her, Alora. "Lu, I have a proposition for you." She looks at me, confused. "Which is mortal?" "I'll let you destroy my capital, only because there are two good things that come it." I smile confidently at Lu. "The first is that. Since you are a god and we start beating the god, it will make our country more vital because you are probably the strongest there is. We can upgrade our magical bots and be stronger if we beat you. Secondly, repairing a city is faster for us because our bots repair things fast and also because they don't need sleep." Lu looks at me. "What do you get in return then, because I know you want something in return, mortal." I look at her and respond.

"I want you to tell me everything that you know about The Reader." I put my hands in the air and did some jazz hands. "Fine, mortal." Yes! You did it, Alora. You stopped a god from destroying your capital. I look behind Lu and see our military with anti-magic guns pointed at her. An anti-magic gun removes all magic from a creature if a bullet hits a magical creature. That would do a lot of damage to Lu since she's a magical creature. Wait, does she use magic? I don't know. They're not firing because they'll shoot me in the process. So there waiting for me to tell them to attack. "Lu, can you please come inside?" Lu brings the tentacle closer to the wall, and she walks past me. She walks over to the basket, and then she looks at me, annoyed. "Another thing mortal, you are not my babysitter; I am a god. alright, great, I'm glad we got that settled." I look at the army. "We need some repairs up here, please," I yell at the robots on the ground—three robots start walking towards the castle. The rest begin repairing the city as well.

I hear Lu open the door. Then Lu and I hear something downstairs. "Fiona! YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND. I want Bel, so help me get Bel!" Lu slowly turns to look at me. "Who is that mortal?" I look at her and sigh. Why is he back here of all places? "Well, that's Celius. He's here for dating advice." I see her grab another pineapple and plop it in her mouth. She walks downstairs, and I follow. Lu and I stop at the bottom of the stairs, and we see Celius and Fiona with their ears tilted backward.

"Celius, please, if you want to date Bel, you have to start listening to her." I can tell Celius gets annoyed by that comment. I then remember something. "Fiona, can you please get Anchor from upstairs and put her in the repair tube? She lost a lot of magical gems because of a certain fight." I move my eyes to Lu. Who still is just eating pineapples. She perks up her ears, notices my voice, looks at me, and nods. She starts walking upstairs, and Celius eyes both Lu and me. "Fiona! Can you help me? Who is this cutie? I.I.I mean, ma'am. Yes." I sigh, and Lu continues eating. "Celius, follow me to the table and sit down. Lu, can you sit with us as well?" I lead them to the kitchen, and we all sit down. Lu is sitting next to me, and Celius looks directly at me. "Ok, can I please explain to you, Alora, what the FUCK just happened?" I then hear Lu pipe up. "Can you please calm down? You're disturbing me, mortal." Celius looks at Lu. "You don't tell me what to do, girl." Lu eats another pineapple. "What that bruise on your neck, mortal?" Lu questioned.

Celius then has a massive blush on his face. He looks to the left, so he hides his blush. "No reason...." He whispered. I then grab my pear from my pocket and bite out of it. Celius breaths in and looks at us. I sense murderous intent? "I was having a nice picnic with Bel and Yaz. The others weren't there because they had to buy groceries." I gave him a small smile. While Lu. I can't read what face she has on."Then the bastard came along and gave us some fucking books. What made it worse was that he gave them to Bel of all people. No one touches Bel. BEL IS MINE!"

Now I know where the murderous intent is coming from. Lu pipes up. "I heard from somewhere that there was this thing called a yandere. You seem like one." She looks at Celius. Celius has a massive blush on his face. I say something this time.

"Wait, Lu, are you telling me Celius is a yandere?" Lu looks at me and replies. "It seems like your weird friend here; the mortal is one." She looks back at Celius, who put his hands on his face. "Mortal, if you want to date this girl, just bring her somewhere private, or use your idol privileges." Celius suddenly becomes confident. Even though he still has a blush on his face. "I tried to do that, but-" I cut him off. "Idols start getting privileges when they're in the top three. Our friend here is only in the top five." She continues to look at Celius. "Mortal. didn't know the males wear female clothing." I snicker a little bit. "Hey, now what is that for. Stop judging you, girl." Then a tentacle is shoved into Celius's mouth. "Mortal shush, the adults are talking." She turns to look at me. "Where is the Reader's church located. I rather get back on topic here." I nod. "We have to go through Dragonia to get to the animal kingdom. We can walk or use a flying ship, whatever you prefer." I then hear muffles from Celius. Who looks strange. "Mortal, I can make this girl in love with you, but in return-"

Celius starts shaking rapidly. "I guess that's a no" I explain something to her. "Celius's brother died from devoting himself to someone. So he doesn't want to take the risk". She takes another pineapple in her mouth. "You humans are dumb and stupid." I sigh. I turn to look at Celius. "Listen, I'll speak to Bel. You like her and see what I can do from there." Celius gives me an annoyed. "Lu, if you, please take the tentacle out of his mouth." She does. "I will not let you fucking speak to her." I give him a questioning look. "Why do you care if I speak to her or not. I'm trying to help you here." I take a deep breath. "I want to do it myself. Just give me some help here." Lu and I both hear Fiona yell something.

"Hey, Alora! We have a visitor here. You might recognize them." I look to Lu. "Finally, we can leave." She gets up from the table and goes to the front door. "Wait! What about helping me?" I look at Celius. "We're traveling to Dragonia. You can come with us if you like." "I would love to," he responds. We both walk out of the kitchen into the main hall.

We saw someone at the door.
