Xin Chao walked toward the man and he grabbed the phone to answer the call.

As soon as the call connected, no one had spoken first.

After a minute,

"You are alive." A familiar voice came from the other side.

Xin Chao sneered. "You must be upset to hear it."

"Not at all. After all, you were my right hand." Markus said.

Xin Chao chuckled. "Whom you never valued."

"You know I always valued my life." Markus's calm voice came.

"Yeah, I know but now I have decided to take your life." Xin Chao smilingly said.

"Could you?" Markus chuckled at his naïve comment.

"I have your precious people. Sooner or later they will reveal your location and once I reach there, you would know whether I could or not?"

"Do you think they are valuable to me? I didn't value you why should I value them? Those good for nothing." Markus harrumphed.

"Really? Then why did you call? This is really not your style."
