The Betrayer And The Self Proclaimed King of All Sorcerers
Welcome to the world of dungeons and Dragons, Monsters and Giants, Mystic forests and Kingdoms, and Gods and Devils. Where hearted adventure and tales unfold in chaos and glory. Wars rage on between the forces of Good and Evil, and light and darkness.
Many mysteries litter the world, from hidden dungeons and priceless magical artifacts guarded by monstrosities. To the hidden banished old ones in forgotten planes, or the mind flayers haunting the edge of the Astral plane, waiting patiently for their return to enslave all. And the most unforgettable one is the tale about the war between the young Gods and lords from the depths of the Abyss.
Among these gems, one however is most unbelievable, the tale about the Betrayer. A child of the man who was blessed by the Goddess of knowledge, for a chance for servitude of higher status. With the knowledge, the former blessed one grew in power and led humanity into an era of power and prosperity. Yet succumbing to greed for more, the betrayer used the very power of Goddess herself against her, striking her down.
Once he dealt the final blow, the Betrayer consumed her soul. Wrathful, the rest of the Gods and Goddess bent together to slay the betrayer, making him a treachery lesson to be told to generations to come. Millennium later and the whispers of the Betrayer still hang from old people's tongues and are written on decaying scriptures. Folk tales are taught as a lesson to their children so they don't attract the Wrath of the Gods.
But in truth, there is so much to learn.
