And once again I shakily woke up with a groan as I felt the new skills, knowledge and traits settle inside my body.

' This is shit....' I thought with groan as I felt the new knowledge and skill pounding in my head begging to be used.

With this also came the unnatural connection I felt with the shadows that were around me everywhere and I felt that I could control any shadow around me within a 100 Metre Radius.

' Not bad...' I thought with a frown as I looked at the snake I had been leaning on and saw a shadowy wisp like energy slowly breaking apart in notes of purple light.

Instinctively I knew that was it's soul and that it was fading away slowly such as all souls do.

And another instinctive know how of how I could stop that and raise the snake as a shadow soldier if mine appeared at the forefront of my head making me grin but before I did that, I need to see what I gained.

[—Skill- Shadow Travel: Allows the user the ability to travel anywhere he has been or sees using the shadows present around him.[Max]

[—Skill— Shadow Evolution: Allows the user the ability to evolve their shadows when they reach the required Threshold for evolution into a higher state of themselves.[Max]

[—Skill- Shadow Manipulation: Allows the user the ability to manipulate shadows around him so long as he can support the energy intensive strain it puts upon them.[Max]

' Oh? Legacy skills come out already max leveled.' I thought with a tilt of my head before shrugging and standing.

" A'ight then I might as well...." I mumbled to myself before I stood and looked back at the snake I had just killed moments ago.

Holding out my hand towards it I felt my mana flare as every shadow within a mile radius was within my control.

' Wow....' I thought in amazement as a feedback of senses hit my head making me smile before I focused on the snake.

' I might as well pay tribute then....'

" Arise..." I spoke activating [Shadow Extraction] and watched as the shadows danced around the snake before they arose and took the form of the snake but with a few changes being apparent.

The snake was like solid darkness and with wisps of purple around it and as it looked at me I grinned seeing a screen appear.

—Skills: Poison Blood[Lv-4], Poison Fang[Lv-3], Corrosive Imbuement[Lv-1], Poison Rush[Lv-6], Poison Effect[Lv-1].]

" Well I guess this bitch went easy on me huh?..." I thought looking at the snake with a wryly smile.

If the snake had used any of its skills on me I was sure that I would have died.

" Well from now on your name is Slytherin." I muttered half jokingly and saw the screen change a bit and its name solidify.

[—Name: Slytherin.]

" Well....just protect me for now and maybe look out for any creature or beast that tries to get close and kill it will yah?" I spoke to the snake not really expecting anything but seeing it nod its head I couldn't help but chuckle.

Ignoring the big snake for a moment I then focused on the body of the snake still on the floor.

My [Shadow Extraction] didn't use the body but the soul of the being I turned into my undead shadow so the being i used the souls for wouldn't get damaged or used.

' I should probably take everything I can from this...I'm sure the meat will come in handy and it's scaled skin too.' I thought with a grin just imagining what type of defensive gear I could create with the skin.

' But first....'

Opening my inventory once more I tapped on the last item I had gained from the Diamond chest.

And just like the other I immediately clicked on the 'use' button and again regretted it.

This time my simply shutdown as a massive torrent of spells, theories of the conceptual magic and true understanding of the thing attached itself to my brain and psyche in a way that almost felt natural.

This process of spells appearing in my mind before my mind started going over and understanding them went on and on until finally it was over.

"*Gasp*" I gasped as I pulled myself away from the ground while looking around myself finding that the moon was overhead and that I had passed out till night time.

" God fuck!" I groaned out holding my head looking at around myself and finding that Slytherin had coiled around me in a protective manner so atleast I was never in any danger.

' Am I gonna pass out everytime or something?' I mumbled to myself as I stood and looked over the screen that suddenly appeared.
