~Third POV~

*BOOOOM*

Combusting Guila immediately used her Magical Power [Explosion] upon contact with Mash Shadow Sword. Mash avoided the explosion moving back in time as Guila was utilizing the explosives, she could also generate smokescreens to confuse enemies.

The [Explosion], as its name suggests, enables its wielder to generate powerful explosions, whose sizes can be controlled and manipulated. Guila channels her ability through her rapier; with a single flick, she can produce flares from the tip of her weapon, which explode when contact is made.

Guila frowned seeing Mash remained unharmed from the attack but kept her focus up her [Explosion] into the tip of her rapier seeing movements within the smokescreen.

*Swooosh*

With one quick swift her weapon released a [Drift Bomb] a small bomb is produced at the tip of her rapier which drifts towards enemies and explodes. Although initially appearing to be weak in power, it is highly explosive and damaging towards the last movement within the smokescreen.

The flicker of light the [Drift Bomb] produced was a dead giveaway with Mash seeing Guila charging the attack at that moment using [Eyes of Mana] to perceive her within the smokescreen seeing her Mana.

Extending his arm quickly he cast his spell pointing his finger where Guila is located, "[Jiwald]!"

*Pew*

Releasing heat rays directed in her direction seeing the beam. Quickly she used her [Explosion] pointing downward to provide her the burst of speed needed to avoid the incoming attack.

*BOOOM*

Propelling herself upward in the sky avoiding the [Jiwald] Mash analyzed the [Drift Bomb] easily able to dispel it into Mana recovering his MP using [Magic Composition Rewriting] when he contacted her attack.

Dispelling the Bomb and recovering his MP he focused on her in the sky as the smokescreen cleared up. When their eyes made contact immediately unleashed another attack.

Guila focused her Magical Power on the tip of her rapier with a small ball of bombs are accumulated she could muster before unleashing down at Mash, "Take this! [Brilliant Detonation]!!!"

*BOOOM*

Launching her big bomb ball directed it towards Mash he already had a counter extending his arm forward, "[Minya]!!"

*PEW*

Shooting crystalized Mana stakes strike the [Brilliant Detonation] as Guila's eyes widen in shock at the effects of her strongest attack. Her attack soon began to crystalize by the effects of the [Minya] spell stopping the target's time and freezing it in place.

Witnessing her attacks have been thwarted her eyes glared intently at Mash seeing her chances of victory weren't in her favor in the slightest thought in a serious tone, 'Who's this man?! The way he fights and his eyes… it's like he knows me, but I don't know him…'

*Wooosh*

At that moment Mash immediately followed her using [Murak] to reduce his gravity surprising her with his speed with his Shadow Sword at the ready, "Let's see how you handle this Miss Holy Knight!"

*Shinng*

Swiping down Guila responded with a block of her rapier but…

*Crack*

Her blood ran cold seeing the weapon on her hand was cut and cleaned through leaving her body defenseless to a slash attack quickly conjuring a bomb using [Explosion] to avoid any fatal blows.

*BOOOM*

Managing to avoid being cut down Guila only managed to have her bangs cut in time with beads of sweat crawling down her face seeing her broken rapier in a frustrated tone, "Grrr… no one told me that their cook was a Holy Knight. Having speed, power, and magic. It's the only thing that makes sense – "

But before she could comprehend further, she soon felt an unknown force forcing her to the ground by gravity as Mash spoke out, "[Vita]!"

*THUD*

Falling to the ground Mash calmly sat on her back taking away her rapier with a cheeky grin on his face showing his dominance, "And… there! My win here Miss Holy Knight. Besides… I have the edge here."

Guila was about to use [Explosion] to escape before looking up to see 20 stakes using [Minya] above her head clicked her tongue as Mash calmly spoke, "[Minya]. There with you checked and mated how about we talk."

Guila struggled to speak under the intense force of the [Vita] spell amplifying her body gravity and spoke venomously at him, "Tch… so says the man sitting on my back… Sir Gilthunder never mentioned you possess… gravity magic…"

Mash smiled seeing Guila was talking patting her on the head like a child angering her as he cut the bang from her hair to remind her of her dire situation in a serious tone, "Now, now. You must listen to what I have to say Guila. I don't want to do anything rash or leave your brother Zeal alone."

His words made Guila's blood freeze at the implication much to her horror as she went pale gritting her teeth in a defeated tone, "W-What… do you… want…"

Struggling to speak Mash simply replied in an obvious tone much to her surprise of this situation, "Easy. I need your memories. Don't worry it won't be much just on certain things, but I apologize in advance for this."

*BAM*

Slamming her at the back of the head Guila fell unconscious. Taking the moment to place his hand beside her soft face. Mash soon licked his hand using [Gluttony] 'sharing' the meal of Guila's memory with an interested expression to ensure she wasn't amnesic.

Having memories of her time inside the Liones Kingdom Capital and key details of locations and made sure to 'eat' the memories of their conversation in a serious tone with a smirk, "Hmm… still tasting things using [Gluttony] is still weird. Especially memories. At least she won't remember our conversation only being knocked out."

Dispelling his magic he began to grab rope from the Boar Hat tying up Guila while holding a marker with a grin, "I mean this was a canon event. Drawing on her face… this is so childish I wonder what I write…"

Finishing a befitting punishment for them Mash soon eyes the children as they begin to flicker thanking him, "Mister don't worry your friends will return soon. We'll be sleeping until more people like you come to be guided to the capital. Your cooking was delicious. Thank you."

*Fade*

The two kids faded making Mash smile complementing him as he waved goodbye to them, "Goodbye then. Take care of yourselves."

He smiled contently as Mash waited for the group to arrive away from Guila's position. Mash waited till suddenly the group arrived with King seemingly mellowed down as Ban looked around in a neutral tone, "Looks like we're back in the land of the living."

Everyone soon took notice of the signs of battle that occurred in Tala Village all eyeing Mash the only one who didn't join them as he greeted them waving his hand, "Sup everyone! How did going to the Capital of the Dead go? Did it look like hell or filled with undead?"

They blinked before Meliodas casually replied having his arms behind his head asking what occurred looking at the village, "Nah. Just filled with crystals and spirits, not hell that's for sure. But you seem to have had a good time. Especially with the giant ball of crystal."

Pointing his finger at the frozen [Brilliant Explosion] Mash blinked rubbing the back of his head acting embarrassed forgetting that, "Oh yeah… whoops…? Yeah… while you guys were busy with your trip, I had the unlikely encounter with a Holy Knight. But I managed to defeat her so we're good. So… who's the flying toddler mama's boy."

Upon hearing his comment Ban burst his laughter listening to his blunt words, "PFT!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!"

Rolling down on the floor King was embarrassed muttering in a stunned tone, "m-m-mama boy…?"

Ban was slamming his fist onto the floor regaining his composure listening to Mash's bluntness, "Hahaha!!! Mama's boy? King of Mana's boy!!! HAHAHA!!!"

King blushed understanding Mash's confusion yelling angrily at Ban's for his misfortune, "It's not that funny Ban!! Do I need to strike you again?!!"

While both seem to be in their own world Meliodas took notice of Mash's Shadow Sword slowly disappearing apprizing the weapon feeling the Magical Power, 'That's some serious firepower in that sword. A weapon related to darkness huh?'

Diane seeing Mash was fine sighed a breath of relief requesting for her form to change in a kind tone, "Sigh… thank goodness you are alright. Also, do you think you can now do the thing?"

Listening to Diane's words King froze in place seeing her act this way with Mash as he nodded understanding, "Oh that thing. Sure, since no trouble is around it's better to hurry along before any Holy Knights come. Here."

King was confused about what he meant narrowing his eyes at their interaction. But soon his eyes widen seeing Mash used his Authority of Lust [Disguise] to change Diane into human size with a black substance surrounding her and instantly changed.

Diane twirled around thanking him with a hug with a smile joining him at the Boar Hat tavern, "Ah… still feels unreal to be small but thanks. I'm a bit famished think you could cook something up to celebrate King's return?"

Mash nodded his head understanding giving her a thumbs up as he greeted King apologizing to him for his earlier encounter, "Sure. And sorry for calling you a mama's boy King, I didn't realize you were a member of the Seven Deadly Sins. I'm Mash Bastion the Boar Tavern cook."

King blinked a bit before coughing into his hand accepting his apology in a cautious tone towards him, "Uhm… sure. Just don't say that next time, okay?"

Mash nodded and asked another question tilting his head causing everyone to widen their eyes about a certain fact of his biology, "Neat. So… as a fairy is it true you guys can change sex from boy to a girl if you feel attracted emotionally to being a fairy?"

All eyes are directed toward King blushing at the sudden question of his biology hiding his face with his pillow muttering muffled, "I hate this guy already. Somehow his worse than Ban?!"

Mash merely smiled mentally seeing the reaction of King with Meliodas speaking out loud scratching his head, "Well… that was somewhat horrifying and intriguing trivia about the Fairy Clan. But we should probably get going. All in favor of forgetting that that King can change into a Queen if he ever likes guys. All say aye?"

"Wake up, my pupil."

Guila heard the voice of someone as she opened her eyes to Helbram in his armor uttering in shocked surprise, "Ah! It's you! Sir Helbram!"

Helbram a fairy taking in human form, Helbram takes on the form of Aldrich, the elderly knight he killed, he wears a set of copper-colored full-body armor, adorning it with a purple high-collar, cloak on top. He usually covers his face with a unique helmet that has hammerhead horns with a sky-blue crest on it. He has an eye-patch that covers his left eye. He has a scruffy face with a beard.

Helbram uttered viewing the shattered rapier as she was shocked putting her head down in a disappointed tone, "You failed, Guila. As I thought, it's too soon for you to be engaging with the Seven Deadly… Hm?"

Guila noticed his confused tone Guila asked confused by his tone in a concerned tone, "Is… something the matter?"

Helbram pointed at her face as she snapped out of the rope rubbing the marker off her face and mumbling in an annoyed tone, "Grr… there could only be one person responsible for this… The Boar Hat cook…"

Helbram frowned underneath his helmet recalling the report from the Weird Fangs that they failed because they underestimated the unknown cook in a disappointed tone, 'She lost to that cook as well? That person… is he a Holy Knight working with the Princess or worst… a Holy Knight apprentice of the Seven Deadly Sins… this is very troubling indeed with no info to work off on... an unknown factor huh?'
