966 Tower of Heaven

One of the guards wants to check the prisoner if they are still alive or dead, it's not an issue if they do this because they can take another bunch of kids and throw the dead one on the sea.

"Hey insect, are you still alive." The guard lazyly shouted..

Then, the prison cell explodes, the metal bars fly everywhere while the guard throws it like a bag of trash.

"R-Revolt!! The prisoners are revolting!!"

The warning bell starts to ring around the prison, the guards start to come on Xin's position, but it's too late, Xin went to save the other prisoner.

"E-Erza?"

"Nee-san!!"

"H-Hey… so you are okay, and who is this mister?"

"Moron, can you say she is okay? Based on the blood on her clothing, she is being tortured by the guards for sure."

"What about Jeral? He said he was going to get past those guys and save you?

"I'm fine, I did not see Jeral but I was saved by someone else." Erza, who is actually the child XIn save, proudly said.

Xin helplessly looks at this kid, he doesn't have time to explain to them so he starts healing them because half of them are wounded.

On the corner of the cell, an old man looks at Xin and asks," Sir, did you come for Erza?"

"Yes."

"I'm glad, the children here are always in pain, thank goodness someone can save them from suffering."

"Old Mister, no need to talk, i can see your condition is more severe than thai kid, your lifespan is already dry up."

"It doesn't matter, I'm already old, my life is already used for the future generation, at least, for the last line of my life, I use it in meaningful things."

"You are right, but you can still die here, you still have roles to fulfill, and you dying here will make the kids sad."

Suddenly, the prison cell rudely opens, the guard looks around while the kids start to cry from fear.

"Shut up! Do you want to be beaten!"

"I said shut up stupid brat!! Otherwise, I will cut your tongue out!!"

"Shou-kun, it's okay, gramps is here."

Xin flick his finger and push the guard out of the cell, it's just a small push but the group of guards throw like a rag doll out of the cell, even the iron door of the cell dent from the force of the push.

"Y-Your strong, I Rob never seen any stronger than you in my life, i can see that you can perfectly use Mana without any difficulty, as if Mana is just a part of your body."

Rob is a lean old man with pale skin. He has long white hair which goes midway down his back. Two strands of hair stand out from the rest and point outwards. His eyebrows are nearly as long as the hair on his head, reaching down past his chin. He has a thick gray beard that extends down to his chest. He wears a pair of beige shorts with no shirt, so his black Fairy Tail mark located on his lower back is visible.

"But even if you're strong, your magic will constantly suck by this tower, it is designed to suck life force and magic from the people inside of it."

"So what kind of tower is this?"

"This is the Tower of Heaven, also known as the R-System, is a taboo Magic Item that can be used to revive a deceased person"

The Tower of Heaven, or the eighth tower of the "Resurrection-System" is a Magic Item that allows any person to restore life upon someone who is deceased at the cost of someone else's life. For protection purposes, the construction of the tower has been forbidden by the Magic Council since ancient times. However, a cult of Dark Mages wishing to revive Zeref began working on it years ago. The cult kidnapped children and adults alike and forced them into slavery so that they could construct the tower for them.

Resurrection System: Suggested by its name, the R-System or "Resurrection-System" allows any person to restore life upon someone who is deceased. However, using this ability requires a high cost. Namely, to complete the process, an enormous amount of Magic Power is required, 2.7 Billion Edeas to be specific. Such a high amount of Magic Power can't be possibly produced by a single Mage, nor even by the combined.

Of course, for Xin, it's an easy task to give an enormous magic power to this tower, he can even use the tower multiple times if he wants to.

'So this is the Tower of Heaven, should I collect it?' Xin thought resurrection magic is taboo magic, simply because it consumes life force to trade for the other lifeforce.

It also violates the law of nature, but who is Xin, he is a God, the Law of Nature did not apply to a God so it's useless for Xin.

"Let's get out of here first," Xin waves his hand creating a giant magic circle on the floor.

"Step in, I will send you all out, take whatever you have here, I will destroy this tower." Xin's voice rang inside of all prisoner's heads, then magic circles started to form in the different palaces.

A couple of minutes later, all the prisoners transfer a hundred kilometers away to the safest place to prevent an accident.

After confirming all the prisoners are already safe, Xin collects the gigantic Tower of Heaven inside of his storage space while making all the people inside of the tower drop straight to the ocean.

Looking at the people falling from the sky, Xin feels that they can survive at least if they can swing back to the land, and it's not a huge problem because there's a bunch of Mages around their group so they only have a problem if they encounter a dangerous beast on their way.

Xin teleports to the kid's location, and when he appear, Erza pounce on him like a cat and hug his neck like a koala." I'm back."
