The toilet game

"This is so boring… ughh… cal, wake uppppp!"

Alina was floating above cal, she looked board

"Hello?" She waved her hand in front of Cal's face, then rolled her eyes, she closed her eyes and disappeared. She went inside Cal's head, "this is annoying." She mumbled

A while later, cal started opening his eyes.

The floor was hard, cold concrete and 3 walls made of concrete while the 4th made of old, rusty bars.

Cal opened his eyes, the outer rims of his vision were black, he blinked a few times and cleared his vision.

He looked around, there was a small light in the middle of the small cell, it seemed like he was in the basement.

He was leaning against the wall, both of his feet had shackles on them, they were connected to 3 different chains, the first was connected the two shackles, and there was one connecting to each shackle, the chains leading to the wall, he couldn't move his feet, or walk, his hands were also shackled the same way his feet were.

He tried lifting his hands to rub his eyes, but the chains stopped him.

He blinked a few more times and looked around.

The cell was small, there was a door so items could be taken in and out, there was a guard outside by the door, it seemed that passed that door the rest of the basement was.

He was in a cell, an area of tHe basement meant for new items.

Alina appeared in front of cal.

"Soo. What are we doing now?" She chuckled

Cals looked confused. 'Maybe I can teleport out?..' he thought, and Alina nodded "eh, that might work."

He tried to teleport to the other side of the cell, but the shackles on his hands and ankles got tighter, tightened to the point of hurting, and then a shock.

He groaned, clearly in pain, 5 minutes passed while the shackles continued to tighten before going back to normal.

A guard came up to his cell. "I wouldn't suggest you try teleporting, did you already complete enough tasks to get an ability. Tch, those shackles are specifically made to stop the use of ability, while punishing the item who tries using an ability, Anyways, item C5360, you'll be staying here for the next few Days, then you'll be moved to the item quarters, only difference is that your cell will be a bit bigger, a tad more comfortable, but, same shackles, restrictions, but more comfortable, a bed, slightly larger cell, but small. Concrete." The guard stopped talking and walked away after adding on "oh and, I would suggest you get ready, you'll be taken out of your cell in a few hours"

The guard walked away. A few hours later, a man came up to cal.

"alright, so, let me just do this-" he opened the cell door and took the shackles off, then telling Cal to follow the man, the man led cal upstairs.

"Okay, so basically, you get the worst job ever." The man chuckled "bathroom duty."

Cal looked at the door next to the man, the bathroom. The smell in there was enough to make him puke.

"Goodluck kid." The man chuckled as he walked away, leaving Cal alone.

There was a mop by the bathroom door, along with a few cleaning supplies.

"This will take a while.."

Cal said while grabbing the mop and bucket, going inside. It was a mess, the floor looked like shit was smeared all over them, the mirror by the sink had so many stains that it can't even be called a mirror, and the toilet, let's not even start.

Cal started mopping the floor, he almost threw up a few times, once he was done he went to get something to clean the mirror, then the sink, and the toilet.

And let's just say, Alina is manic when it comes to humor… Cal had even more to mop after coming near the toilet..

"Anndddddd...!! There goes your lunch!!!" Alina practically yelled, laughing her ass off, "I wonder how your stomach is doing right now…" she pointed at it. Before laughing even more.

"Very funny.. totally.. if you wouldn't stick my head in the fucking toilet maybe I would've kept my lunch…?" Cal said sarcastically while grumbling.

Alina just kept laughing, "it was funny, admit it.." she chuckled, smiling.

"Maybe a little bit, maybe a little." Cal grumbled, it was somewhat funny….. right? It was funny, right? I hope so.

Cal was about to finish up when he heard

Alina say "eh, might as well… heh.."

Then he heard a ding and his system screen came into view,

[ system operator had made a hidden mission, complete ]

[ clean the toilet → good luck with the bathroom ]

"Uhm, what's that…?" Cal asked, looking at Alina, before he couldn't see the Stats page, it was invisible to him.

"I just figured out you couldn't see the darn stats page, so I fixed it, and you deserve it for cleaning… that shit hole…" she pointed towards the toilet in disgust.

Cal nodded, then going on the main menu

"Uhm, what's a void awakening?" Cal asked while looking at Alina

"Oh, the void awakening prepares you for your true soul awakening"

" you need awakening points for it though."

"Awakening points are earned by doings tasks, also, there are many levels of the void awakening, for example" a screen poped up, made by Echo

"Does that make it easier to understand?" The screen disappeared. "Sometimes showing is easier then saying, but you get the point"

"Yeah, I get it. So once I get enough awakening points 1% of the void awakening happens?" Cal asked.

"Well, no, you can choose whether you want to undergo a void awakening once you have the required amount of awakening points"

"you can gather more and undergo multiple void awakenings at the same time, but I wouldn't suggest it."

"once you get to 1% and it should take a while, your energy core will start to form."

"allowing you to both feel and absorb the energy's that are in the atmosphere around you, but I'll explain that later, maybe in a few days."

" Anyways, You see that empty spot in the handle of the chain, when I manifested it, it had a crystal, while yours is empty, that's my soul, and only I can wield it, whatever weapon I manifest has that"

Echo lifted her hand, and a crystal maifest on top of it, floating. "This is my soul crystal, most of the time, this resides within the void, surrounded by my souls flame." A silver flame with faint light blue stripes started to surround the faint light blue crystal that was floating above Alina's hand, and then it dispersed, leaving the crystal, the crystal was glowing, getting lighter and then darker, and it sent pulses of energy, only Cal could feel it, as he was the only one taht could see Alina.

"Every voidling has a soul, some are more powerful than others."

" the flames that surrounds the soul, that's it essence, a spark that becomes stronger the more the owner of the soul grows, both physically and mentally, and after a while, it becomes a blazing fire, unable to be put out, and it only grows stronger from there. It can get weaker, but that's for another time"

Cal nodded, trying to process the information that was being spat at him.

"Anyways, that's enough on voidlings for now, once you reach 100% your soul crystal with begin to form, allowing you to Wield its power, your will, determination, goals, and weakness determine how much if your souls power you can use, it only gets stronger with time so don't worry about that, your wings and horns also begin forming, but that come during the soul awakening, the next awakening after the void, which is by all means, the primary awakening, while the ones that follow can be called the secondary, tertiary, and final awakening." Alina said that and then shook her head "Anyways, I'm done explaining, I'll tell you more later. I'm going to sleep" she disappeared, only to reappear inside the depths of cals mind, it's was pitch black there, and Alina went to sleep [ not the void ]

Soon after, the man came and took Cal back to his cell, closing the door behind him.

"Cya Tomorrow kid." The man said before pushing a plate through the door, a bottle of water and chicken sandwich.

Cal ate his food, and stretched for a few minutes.

"Heh, so what now? We're gonna get out of here..?" Alina said, chuckling.

"You have a few tasks after all.."
