"It's a girl" the nurse said looking up
"She has, very dark eyes, as dark as the moon"
"Let me see her"
"Why is my baby of Lunar origins?, nurse is there something wrong here, is this my baby"
"Ma'am, she is your baby, she is just of the Lunar side of the spectrum, I'm sorry there is nothing I can do"
"You have a healthy baby girl, very beautiful too"
"Here, put here over there" Mrs. Abidaoud commanded
"Do you not wish to see your child ma'am"
"PUT HER OVER THERE"
The nurse placed baby Amina in a separate bedding, as her mother wished
"Why, did you come out this way? How can I take such shame home"
"I. Have to, I can't live with an evil baby" Mrs Abidaoud said rubbing her hands together
- 20 Years later
"And, fire, burning in one, two, three" Axelly said rubbing his hands together doing it again
"You're lucky" Amina said
"I was only born with moon like abilities, all my life I was told only evildoers, have these so what does that make me" Amina wondered
"Amina, there is nothing wrong with you, many people are born with Lunarism now" Axelly said
"Now close your hands" Axelly said
"You want me to make you a moonrock again, Axelly" Amina said
"See, your abilities are here, therefore you serve a purpose" Axelly said
Amina smiled again
"See you, Axelly"
"Hello, Amina" Mrs. A said
"Did you enjoy your trip" She asked
"Okay it wasn't a trip, mom, it was a scheduled research that required me to travel" She said
Mrs. A rolled her eyes and walked out
Amina slammed her fists on the table
"Why does my own family hate me" she asked
"Hello, Axelly"
"Mina, how's everything" he asked
"Not good, soon as I walked in, my mom wasn't having it today, or any day that I am up and breathing" She said
"I'm surprised she hasn't tried to kill me yet" Amina said
"Mina that's horrible" Axelly said
"Yeah, it is" She said

Amina walked around her house that she grew up in, even though it never felt like home
Amina's father had been killed by a Moonchild (someone who possesses qualities of the moon)
Amina's father was not too happy when he learned of Amina's condition, but after seeing the healthy child he didn't care what she was born with
Amina's mother on the other hand resented her for it, after all Mrs. A's own brother was born with it, he killed Fithteen people including almost killing her
Amina hated herself all her life, she knew about all of this all but one secret, her mom kept from her
A boy aged 14 ran into the house
"Hey, wait a minute who are you, this is my house" Amina said
"No it isn't I don't know you, MOM!!!
"Mom?" Amina said confusingly
"Yes, oh, Amina why'd you come home, Kiran go up to your room" Mrs. A said
"Who is this a Jehovah's Witness or something" Kiran said
"Go to your room sweetie" She said
"Mom, who is that random boy" Amina asked
"That is your little brother" She said
"YOU HID A WHOLE KID FORM ME FOR SIX YEARS" Amina said
"How could you not tell me I had a little brother" She said
"You hate me that much that you'd keep my own brother that I don't even know away from me" She said tearing up
"And then you have the nerve to scold me for arriving, to my own home, what in fears of ruining your perfect solar baby" Amina said
"I hope he is nothing like you" Amina said running out of the house

"SHE KEPT A WHOLE BABY FROM ME" Amina said
"Your mom sounds like a possessive weirdo" Axelly said
"The boy called me, AND I QUOTE "A Jehovah's Witness" Amina said
"That's horrible" Axelly said giggling
"I mean is it possible to hate someone that much" Amina said
"Then she proceeded to scold me for coming home to MY HOUSE, WHERE I LIVED" Amina said
"Knock Knock, oh hello Amina" Mrs Lito said
"Hello Mrs. Lito" She said
"Hungry, I made chicken nuggets, they're Axys favorite" She said
Amina giggled a bit
"Yeah, mom she'll probably be hungry later" Axelly said
"Mrs. Lito you can bring them right up" Amina said
"Alright, and keep the door open young man" She said
"Thank you Mrs. Lito" Amina said
"My mom has always wanted a daughter" Axelly said
"Yeah and mine has always wanted anyone but me" Amina said

"You plan to go back" Axelly asked
"I don't know, I mean it's just so much I don't know about my own life" Amina said
"Well if you aren't ready we have a guest room, you could always take my room though, it's bigger" He said
"Axelly, you know I don't care where I sleep long as it's a happy place" Amina said
"I'll go with you tomorrow to collect your stuff" Axelly said
Thanks, man" she said
"Kids, dinner is ready"
"So how'd the research project go" Mrs. Lito asked
"It went wonderful, as a matter of fact we got extra credits added on" Amina said
"That's amazing, I'm proud of you two" She said
"My son such a handsome and smart boy" Mrs Lito said
"And you Amina you're such a beautiful and very smart young lady, isn't she Axelly"
"Wait why does she get "very smart" Axelly asked
"I'm going to go check on the dessert, I love you too, Axelly" Mrs Lito said kissing his cheek
Amina watched on, as it was something so foreign to her
"You good Mina, you were staring very hard at the table" Axelly asked
"Oh yeah, I was just wondering why the table was so table-y?" she said
"Come on Mina, let's go play racing" Axelly said
"Yeah that sounds like a good idea" She said
