Location: Boarding section, apartment for first years

Specific location: Akagi's bedroom

The atmosphere was dark, quiet and peaceful. The alarm clock on the bedside table clearly indicated it

was a long way to go to his waking up but nonetheless, a bright sudden light filled the room. Akagi sat

idly on his bed clutching his eye with a rather annoyed look on his face as his head felt like it was going

to explode.

"Same dream again." he muttered reaching for the table drawers fishing out a medicine capsule. "Just

who are these kids? Every time I try to think about it my head hurts." he cursed as he waited for the

medicine's effects to take place. He looked around his room, the massive screen he had in front of him

as he thought of the other one in his sitting room, the massive speakers beside it, his walk-in closet... and

just felt rather chaotic as though he wasn't at all pleased with them. "I hate this school." he muttered as

the pain in his head gradually died down.

"Let me go for a walk." he said as he got out of bed...

A few later

Akagi got out of the elevator and was met by a few exhausted zombie like faces, no doubt they were

from class studying into the night and were so exhausted they thought nothing but of the treasures that

lay in awaiting them in their respective rooms on their comfortable beds. Akagi gave them no attention as

he walked past them and into the brightly lit lobby with a lady diligently typing away at the counter.

She immediately raised her head as soon as she saw someone going against the current of 'zombies'

and smiled when she recognized him. "Oh, hello again?" she asked trying to strike a conversation with

him, "Is there any way I can assist..." she gave up while Akagi just walked past her completely ignoring

her efforts as though she wasn't even there. Despite this she couldn't help but force a smile as she

walked him get out of the building and into the darkness. "Eventually..." she thought to herself as she

smiled at him then went back to her business as another wave of brain fried entered.

Climax city never slept in the night as just the school structures alone seemed to be mesmerizing in

contrast to the darkness. Everywhere one would turn, one would be met with a marvelous array of

colors that almost seemed to be drawing any and all into a trance, almost like a city on its own. Akagi

silently walked along the pavement his mind lost in the clouds as always ignoring the breathtaking sight

before him. He didn't mind the chilly breeze that occasionally taunted him as he walked in at most silence

almost as if in a trance, his mind clearly wondering the clouds but his destination clearly set, his favorite

vending machine.

A few minutes later and Akagi was walking back to the dormitory, a drink in hand, his body on auto-pilot

as he occasionally sipped from his drink, his eyes blankly staring forward, time seeming to warp around

him... until he heard something. He immediately became self-aware as he studied his surrounding, his

drink almost half way as it slushed about in its can. He felt his heart rate increase as the silence around

him got thicker but he managed to calm himself, still looking around, quite certain he'd heard something...

there it was again... his gaze immediately followed the sound, until his eyes finally settled on it.

A few away, hidden in the cover of a few short trees and the nearby building was a dark spot. He slowly

approached it, his muscles tensed and ready for action until he suddenly heard a sigh from within the

dark spot and it was then his body instinctively relaxed against his will, almost as if it knew there was no

danger to be wary off.

"Oh dear, it seems I've been caught." came a voice, female, a hint of mischief evident in her tone, as a

figure slowly emerged. Akagi took a step back as a lady came into his view. She was in a lab coat,

wearing a pair of spectacles as her clothes revealed a little too much. In her hand was a cigarette slightly

glowing as it emitted a slight stream of smoke.

"And I tried so hard to scare you away." the lady continued her tone flooding with mischief, "nowadays

teenagers are so..." she tried getting closer but he took a step back.

"Hope I didn't scare you my little star, don't worry, I won't bite."

Akagi seemed to glare at her before he started walking away but she held him back.

"Aww... Did I piss you off my little star? I'm sorry."

"Leave me alone." Akagi said his tone icy glaring at her.

"See, this is my little hiding place," she continued, "surprisingly almost nobody knows about my little safe

spot so I like to come here to let loose a bit. Care to join me?" she asked getting closer exposing more of

her cleavage. Akagi's cold stare seemed to reply her almost immediately as she drew back and took

another puff. "Hashtag scary!" she exclaimed with a mischievous smile as she took another puff and

exhaled a cloud of smoke upwards so it wouldn't affect Akagi much.

Akagi on the other hand was just about to go over the edge and do something he knew he'd regret later

but for some reason he continued hanging on to mere threads. It wasn't because she was part of the

school staff or he'd get suspended or anything, he barely cared about this school in the first place but

deep down, his instincts held him back. A sudden headache hit him as his thought train continued

running...

The lady watched stared at him, a mischievous grin still on her face until she suddenly noticed it. Despite

the dim light available and the fact that it was difficult to notice in the darkness, it was there and it was

slowly growing. A red pigment in his eye.

"I like you, my name is Ushio Yuzu from the science division, what's your name little star?" she declared

pride fully and asked stretching out her hand for a shake.

Akagi glared at her hand as if to ask, "You expect me to shake that?" but nonetheless he did as he said

the word, "Koremitsu."

"Koremitsu..." she muttered as she thought about the name.

"Does Kore have a second name?"

"No it's just KOREMITSU." Akagi said sharply drawing back his hand.

"Kore... my little star..." she muttered dreamy. Suddenly her phone vibrated in her pocket and just as she

took it out Akagi tried to slip away but she hugged him from behind. "You aren't slipping away from me

just yet..." she started mischief in her smoky breath stopped as she read the message.

Akagi, finally pushed beyond his limits pushed her back and was about to lash out at her but she pointed

at a nearby CCTV camera, a grin on her face as if to say, "They are watching you."

Akagi on the other hand seemed to glare at the nearby camera clearly extremely pissed. He looked for a

nearby stone and hurled it hard at the camera destroying it instantly.

"Feisty..." she chuckles, "Kore," she gets closer... too close. "Kore, I like you and I don't want my little star

to get in trouble, so how about a deal? I fix the camera without informing the school who did it and it turn

you don't tell anyone about my little secret spot, what do you think? Or would you like to go home?" she

asked smiling.

Akagi was about to lash out on her but then he heard all she said and somehow maintained control.

"Fine."

"That's my little star... And one more thing Kore, when a girl tells you something nice, at least try to

complement her..."

"I don't see any girl here..."

Oh Kore, you think of me as a woman? That's sexual harassment." she said almost childishly as she

pouted almost like a little girl.

"Who said woman, you old hag?"

Ushio pouted even more thinking of a reply, until she finally sighed, "I'm not old, I'm barely

eighteen...twenty... fine I'm barely thirty but..." she suddenly stopped when she her phone vibrated again

and indicating she received another message. She sighed taking one last puff of her cigar before

dropping it in a nearby rubbish can. "It seems our time together has come to an unfortunate end..."

"Thankfully..." Akagi cut in.

"I guess I'll see you around Kore... Pass by the science division and we can pick up from where we left

off." she said in a sweet slightly seductive tone and with a final wave she slowly walked away, her heels

clicking against the pavement with every step as she slowly disappeared. It was then that Akagi realized

he'd been clutching the can in his hand so tightly it had scrunched up pricking his hand.

He sighed as he dropped the can in the rubbish can and started for his favorite vending machine again.

"I hate this school... How did someone like that end up in the science division in the first place?" he

thought to himself as he walked on, "But there was something she said.... never mind I have better places

to be."

Specific location: Linne's living room

A sweet scent lingered in the air as a feeling of serenity dominated. One could hear her humming a harmonious tune as she went about her bedroom probably looking for something so that she can start studying. On the living room table were a few books clearly supporting the earlier statement. Barely a few later, she came out carrying a few books and a pouch. She glanced at her books on the table and sighed sleep still trying to corrupt her mind. She'd barely opened a book when she suddenly heard a crashing sound from her door, as if someone had tried forcing their way but stopped for some reason. The silence that followed was almost suffocating a she was left staring blankly at the door, time coming to a complete still as she felt her heart pound hard against her lungs. The door almost seemed like a monster ready to eat her as soon as she approached. Her arms instinctively reached for her M.S. as she couldn't bring herself to take her eyes of the door. Everything in her room seemed to warn her against going to the door as she immediately opened her M.S. and got up, her finger hovering just over the "Panic button" which would immediately notify all guards in case of an emergency. The short distance to her door seemed almost impossible to cover as she walked, her muscles tensed and ready for anything, her brain at war with her telling her to retreat until with a slight creak she opened a portion of the door barely enough for her to look through and that's when she let out a sigh of relief when she saw someone, a student, in pajamas disappearing down the hallway. She felt her body, mind and heart relax as she let out a breath of relief until something suddenly hit her.

What is someone doing walking around in…

The hallway ahead of Akagi was silent, almost eerie as everything seemed to stare at him walking by, his footsteps though almost quiet seeming to echo on to infinity, his primary destination? Ritsu's room. His strides were lazy to say the least his gaze fixed forward. He'd suspected someone was following given that the echo of footsteps almost trying to blend in with his but it wasn't perfect. He, however, chose not to put any more thought into this because anyone was free to go wherever they wanted.

The silence stalked him as he walked on, the hallway seeming to go on until infinity, time appearing to be warping around him, his stalker relentlessly trailing him until he finally stopped and a few away Linne quickly ducked back behind the corner hoping she hadn't seen him. Akagi however couldn't care less about his stalker instead he was thinking about something else. A few away from him was a C.C.T.V. camera and he immediately thought up a test, a little something to feed his curiosity. He walked past it leaving it facing its initial direction and that's when the magic kicked in. He concentrated all of his focus into hearing and just after the echo of his footsteps, he heard it barely above a whisper, the sound of the camera slowly changing direction to face him.

He suddenly remembered that the camera might have motion and heat sensors but that didn't deter his suspicion.

He whipped out his M.S. as he approached her room and was immediately hit with numerous notifications of messages from a single contact. He pressed the, "Mark as read option." Ignoring them all as he immediately proceeded to call Ritsu. The M.S. rang for quite some time, a tone playing that slightly irritated him until a lazy voice suddenly received the call, "Hello…"

"OPEN THE DOOR!" he said in a harsh tone standing just beside her door and immediately hung up. "I've really been having quite a lot of aches this year," he thought to himself as he awaited Ritsu to open the door, "this school really is something else… I hate it…" his thought train was immediately broken by Ritsu who stood at the door, her hair messy, as she held onto her pillow, she'd clearly just gotten up and dragged herself to the door.

"Akagi?" she yawned, "don't tell me you missed me that much…" still rubbing her eyes.

"Meet me in the track field in less than fifteen minutes in your exercise outfit, what you'll where? I don't care. Come late, I'll stop helping you. Don't come, I'll stop helping you." Akagi said and immediately left leaving Ritsu's thoughts scattered as she ran back in. She'd barely taken few steps from the door when she suddenly heard another knock. She immediately rushed back ready with an arsenal of questions hoping to get answers not that that was actually guaranteed but she seemed slightly when shocked when she opened and came face to face with Linne.
