The Monstrous King and his sweet Evil Queen

In the mysterious realm of Kalvon, where shadows whispered tales of Kings and Queens, none were as infamous as King Jetaime. Whispers echoed through the cobblestone corridors and darkened chambers of the palace, painting a macabre portrait of a heartless sovereign scarred by the cruelty of fate. His legs, so the tales spun, were lifeless appendages, and his face, a grotesque canvas of boils. His was a visage that struck terror into the hearts of those who dared imagine it. Yet, destiny took an unforeseen turn on the eve of a grand wedding night. Princess Jaelyn, cursed and hidden away within the confines of Malavon Castle, was the unwilling pawn in a malevolent game of power. Her name, synonymous with evil, and her every step marked by the devil's touch. However, as she stepped into the grand hall to meet her monstrous groom, a man emerged before her, shattering the grotesque image painted by gossip. King Jetaime stood not as the rumored monster, but as a vision of unexpected sweetness, love, and undeniable handsomeness. The discrepancy between the tales and the reality sparked a whispered question in the minds of those who witnessed this surreal union — had she unwittingly married an imposter, or were the rumors nothing more than twisted fragments of a darker imagination? As King Jetaime and Princess Jaelyn embarked on their tumultuous journey, the chessboard of power and revenge unfolded. Locked in a dance of secrets and hidden motives, the two found themselves entangled in a love that defied the expectations set by the world. The King, who had never allowed anyone close, now placed his heart willingly in her hands. Princess Jaelyn, driven by the flames of vengeance, found an unexpected ally in the man she was supposed to despise. Together, they navigated the treacherous waters of courtly politics, facing a power struggle fueled by conspiracies that threatened to tear them apart. In the battle between love and destiny, the question lingered like an ethereal mist — was their connection a mere human maneuver or a divinely fated love? As the story unfolded, the narrative wove a tapestry of twists and turns, challenging the very essence of their existence. Could love truly conquer all things, or were some cases destined to be eternally hopeless? Two empty hearts, two lives devoid of love, collided in a dance of darkness and light. A monster king and an evil queen united to become one, their journey unfurling like a forbidden scroll. Consort Suva was getting ready for the ceremony she suddenly receives a letter that was delivered through a maidservant.

"MAKE SURE NOTHING GOES WRONG TODAY," the letter reads, she folds it and brings it closer to the fire watching it burn down to ashes. She knew who the letter was from even when it had no name on it.

"Don't worry your highness, the ceremony will be a grand affair. The only person that can cause us problems is the queen and she is locked away. I'm a little worried about the other two princesses," Consort Suva's maid stuttered while dressing her up.

"I need to take care of them too. I don't know what the king is planning and that's my worry, anyway, hurry the ceremony is about to start." Consort Suva mumbled staring into the mirror, she still looks youthful and elegant even after birthing two children that she was proud of.

"Yes, your highness. Done. The golden pin or the silver one?" Her maid asked. Only the queen of the land can wear the golden phoenix hairpin, but since the queen won't be present she will be representing the queen. She thought for a while before answering. "The golden one,"

"Perfect choice, no one had worn the golden phoenix hairpin since the former queen died, you deserve to wear this," the maid said fixing the pin in her hair.

"What did you say?" Consort Suva howls at her. "I'm sorry your highness, I was wrong. Please spare me," her maid quickly went on her knees panicking. "How did you know this hairpin belongs to the former queen?" she asked angrily wondering if she had a spy by her side all this while.

"I just happen to see it in the portrait in the king's room. Forgive me your Highness if I was horrendous," she pleaded. "Get up," Consort Suva commended, "we are getting late," she said as she walks out of the room and her maid tug along thanking her stars.

King Jetaime Kemal is seen dressed up and standing on the terrace with Byron. "It's fine, you look great. Much better than on your wedding day with the queen," Byron teased adjusting the collar of the dress that was making him uncomfortable.

"It's a gift from my future father-in-law how can I not wear it," Jetaime hissed straightening the hand. "Hahaha, you are already my son and I'm glad you like it," an old grumpy man appeared out of nowhere, tapping Jetaime's shoulders.

"Prime Minister Young, you are here," Jetaime said between his teeth, he knew he had eyes on him the whole time making sure he gets no surprises.

"Yes, I came to call you the bride is here," he said and laughs as if it was a happy occasion or something was funny since he was the only one laughing. "Sure, let's meet the bride," Jetaime mumbled taking the lead as they follow him. Consort Suva was also coming to meet the prime minister and runs into the king.

The first thing the king saw was the golden hairpin and she froze for a second. How could he not remember it was her mother's and in fact, she was wearing it the day she was murdered? King Jetaime was more and more convinced she was the murderer or played a part in it.

"Your Highness," she said startled. "That pin?" Jetaime asked still in shock, for a second she saw his mother's face seeing the hairpin.

"Arh, yeah, um, it's an old um…" She was lost and didn't know what to say. Prime Minister Young gaze at her with an angry look that could burn her up that instant.

"Only the queen has the right to the phoenix hairpin. I will keep it for her," he said pulling it out of her hair and walking away. "Ah…" Before she could say anything he was long gone. The prime minister gave her another angry look before leaving with them.

"Everything ready?" Jetaime hissed to Byron. "All set," he whispered back. They have set the stage now it's time to enjoy the show. They walk to the ceremonial ground, it wasn't a grand ceremony like the queen's but it didn't lack a thing.

Jetaime stood there with his hand behind his back, patiently waiting for the bride. Princess Asa was beautifully dressed up in her bridal gown. His father the prime minister failed to let her understand the marriage was for her own good. She is beautiful and eloquent she believes she was too good for the monstrous king.

She join him at the altar without looking at the king, Jetaime ignored her rudeness for not showing the appropriate respect due to him because he knew what he had in mind. He was taking a big risk, he had to perform all the rituals with her only then can he go on with his plan.

Prince Dewey was drunk and furious watching his beloved marry another man, "Let the ceremony begin," the priest announces with Princess Asa and King Jetaime facing each other.

"Wait! I need a moment," Princess hissed as she was trying so hard to breathe, she kept her eyes at the entrance hoping her knight will come to save her. She was marrying the king of the land, who will dare try to stop the king but yet again she had a little hope in her heart.

"Of course princess," the priest responded as King Jetaime calmly stood there, Byron was anxious he was gambling on the princess's feelings for the so-called commander Lander.

The prime minister and consort Suva walk close to Princess Asa to make sure she was okay or perhaps remind her she can't escape the marriage.

"Come with me," Consort Suva said pulling her to a nearby chamber, the same stage Byron had set. He was glad things were going according to plan.

"What has come over you? Listen you will not mess this up for your father. Do you understand? You will go back there put on a smiling face and marry the king," Consort Suva announced making sure the spoiled princess understand and accept her fate.

"I can't, I really can't. Just looking at him makes me want to poke," the princess confesses with tears. Byron made sure everything said behind those walls could be heard even from outside.

"You will have to, now you have just two minutes to get back in there," Prime Minister Young angrily said as he walks back to the alter together with Consort Suva. The princess was left alone to smooth out her feelings.

"She is just nervous, she will be out soon," Consort Suva says with a soft smile. The first part was taking effect, there are left to end the recital. Princess Asa took in a deep breath a couple of times and decided to go out.

As she was about leaving someone walks in, with the same familiar mask and smell. She quickly runs into his arms and cries. "Take me out of here," she cries more. Consort Suva and the prime minister were shocked when they heard the voices echoing in the room for the first time.

"I can't marry him, I will rather die. I love you and I'm carrying your child. You need to get us from here," Princess Asa cries. Prime Minister and Consort were trying to figure out where the voices were coming from.

"Asa, listen to me," the man in a mask hush cupping her face in his arms. Prime Minister and Consort Suva were shocked. He tried to go shut her daughter up before she completely ruins his plan but Byron stops him. He stood there so embarrassed.

"Please," Byron mumbled asking him to stay where he was. "We don't have much time, my father will come back here and drag me to marry that monster. If you love me. if you love us you will get us out of here," she added touching her belly gently.

"I love you more than life itself Asa. I will do the impossible to be with you but I can't get you out of here. At least not now," Lander mumbled trying to make her understand.

"What do you mean you can get us out of here? Lander I'm carrying your child didn't you hear that." Princess Asa says moving away from him. She was surprised to know the man she love was a coward.
