The Monstrous King and his sweet Evil Queen

In the mysterious realm of Kalvon, where shadows whispered tales of Kings and Queens, none were as infamous as King Jetaime. Whispers echoed through the cobblestone corridors and darkened chambers of the palace, painting a macabre portrait of a heartless sovereign scarred by the cruelty of fate. His legs, so the tales spun, were lifeless appendages, and his face, a grotesque canvas of boils. His was a visage that struck terror into the hearts of those who dared imagine it. Yet, destiny took an unforeseen turn on the eve of a grand wedding night. Princess Jaelyn, cursed and hidden away within the confines of Malavon Castle, was the unwilling pawn in a malevolent game of power. Her name, synonymous with evil, and her every step marked by the devil's touch. However, as she stepped into the grand hall to meet her monstrous groom, a man emerged before her, shattering the grotesque image painted by gossip. King Jetaime stood not as the rumored monster, but as a vision of unexpected sweetness, love, and undeniable handsomeness. The discrepancy between the tales and the reality sparked a whispered question in the minds of those who witnessed this surreal union — had she unwittingly married an imposter, or were the rumors nothing more than twisted fragments of a darker imagination? As King Jetaime and Princess Jaelyn embarked on their tumultuous journey, the chessboard of power and revenge unfolded. Locked in a dance of secrets and hidden motives, the two found themselves entangled in a love that defied the expectations set by the world. The King, who had never allowed anyone close, now placed his heart willingly in her hands. Princess Jaelyn, driven by the flames of vengeance, found an unexpected ally in the man she was supposed to despise. Together, they navigated the treacherous waters of courtly politics, facing a power struggle fueled by conspiracies that threatened to tear them apart. In the battle between love and destiny, the question lingered like an ethereal mist — was their connection a mere human maneuver or a divinely fated love? As the story unfolded, the narrative wove a tapestry of twists and turns, challenging the very essence of their existence. Could love truly conquer all things, or were some cases destined to be eternally hopeless? Two empty hearts, two lives devoid of love, collided in a dance of darkness and light. A monster king and an evil queen united to become one, their journey unfurling like a forbidden scroll. The world watched with bated breath as the saga unfolded — a tale of love, betrayal, and the relentless pursuit of a destiny that defied the predetermined life. Cover by Java graphics.

"I hope we don't have to talk about this again," said the young princess, the maid vigorously shook her head but she knows better not to push it any further besides she is just a palace maid and she is the abandoned princess what else can they do to change their miserable fate.

"Moesha, at least in King Jetaime's palace we wouldn't starve right?" Princess Jaelyn's eyebrows furrowed. She was emotional but she didn't dare show it. She has always been strong and rebellious and there were times she had to pretend.

"Yes, my princess, those maids in the kitchen forgot to deliver your meal on time again?" Moesha grumbled when she realize it was past noon and the princess's lunch is still not delivered. There were times she had to go and cook herself for the princess and when she was caught she will be given severe beatings. Sometimes they end up eating leftovers.

"I will go deal with them!" Moesha angrily said approaching the door.

"Stop!" she halts immediately.

"It's fine. Remember you wouldn't want to be beaten up again like the last time," she mumbled.

"But...but my.."

Zalvon kingdom

A carriage pulls up in front of a small crowd, "Please spare my poor daughter, she is very sick and needs special care, and she won't live past 20. Please spare her," A sad father knees as soon as Jetaime Kamal pulls his head through the carriage window to see why they had stopped.

All eyes were on them as everyone wait to see how the monstrous king deals with the man that was bold enough to stop his carriage.

"I wasn't aware your daughter was dying soon, by the way, who is your daughter?' he asked staring at the man, he was called the monstrous king because he wears a mask and no one has ever seen his face, rumors circular around the four kingdoms he had boils all over his face. It didn't bother him as long as the people fear him.

"Princess Aya and he is the king of Kalvon Kingdom," Byron his personal guard whispered as Jetaime stare at the men angrily.

"Since you have taken over my kingdom just spare my poor daughter," the man boldly said.

"Don't worry since your daughter is dying soon, I will send her back to you," he said as the man looks hopeful and excited.

"Once she kicks the bucket," he added closing the curtains of the window, the smile on the man's face disappears as he cusses. The carriage moves past him leaving the disappointed and humiliated father and once a king without stopping.

Jetaime conquered the Kalvon and Nalavon kingdoms and brought back their princesses as his slave for going against him. It has been three weeks already since he sends a decree to the Malavon Kingdom demanding they surrender to him.

He was aware with his reputation no father will want to marry off their precious daughters to him, he enjoys having to capture them and as well expand his empire, now he has all three kingdoms under his control with the exception of the Malavon Kingdom.

He had already made up his mind to go to war, "My lord, King Acer has agreed to marry off his daughter to you," Byron mumbled as he stares at his king's reaction.

"What he agreed!" he yells. "Was that not what my lord wanted for him to bend a knee?" Byron asked surprised, aside from being his personal guard, they have been close friends since childhood.

In the past, he tried his best to clear the rumors people were saying about him but Jetaime stopped him as long as it prevented his step-brothers from eying the throne.

He was made king at a very young age, he was 10 years old when his father the king, and his mother sacrificed their lives to put him on the throne, and since then his life has been in danger, he can't count the number of times he has escaped from an assassin after his life.

Byron's father, at the time as his personal guard, in order to stop people from going after the young king spread the rumor that the throne was cursed anyone that sat on it will become a monster, and that spared his life until he was able to defend himself.

He did live up to the rumor anyway if not why will people still believe in them, he never disappointed the world with how cruel and ruthless he was. The ploy worked perhaps a little too well.

He had no idea if King Acer will actually agree to marry his daughter to him, he was a proud king and was very fond of his daughter and he was already prepared to attack them, not because he didn't want to bend a knee but to stop the elders from demanding he choices a queen.

Once all four kingdoms were under his control will dare to confront him about making a marriage alliance with the other kingdoms that was the plan.

"Yes but not to marry his daughter, I wanted the kingdom, what delusions is King Acer harboring, or perhaps he is the most shameless to sacrifice his daughter for his throne?" he sighed, already knowing how this was going to go, who would have thought his plan will backfire.

"I will tell them to make arrangements for the arrival of the queen," Byron whispered. "You're enjoying this aren't you?" Jetaime mumbled staring at his friend who was smiling gracefully, since Byron got married to his childhood crush Demelza, the duke's only daughter, Jetaime never stop to tease him about how love had made him stupid.

He was glad his friend, the king will finally know what it means to love. "Yes I am, I won't deny that. Rumor has it that she is extremely beautiful," Byron teases Jetaime the more as he smirks.

"I will tell you what, she will puke once she sees my masks, rather prepare for war because she won't last long in the palace," Jetaime confidently said.

"You think so? She must have heard the rumor and yet still agreed to this marriage, you are stuck for real this time, my lord," Byron teased and Jetaime know this silly mistake will be the death of him.

How on earth is he going to deal with having the princess in his personal chambers once they were married they will have to share the same bed once in a while and for someone who can't have the maids close to him, will be extreme torture for him.

"I will go make the arrangement, I will take my leave, my lord," Byron said with a smile before exiting the hall.

Jetaime waves his hand without looking at him in deep thought, the heat from his desperation made him sweat and uncomfortable. He needed a drink as his throat burns, Jetaime still couldn't figure out why a man like King Acer will send his daughter to him.
