The Monstrous King and his sweet Evil Queen

In the mysterious realm of Kalvon, where shadows whispered tales of Kings and Queens, none were as infamous as King Jetaime. Whispers echoed through the cobblestone corridors and darkened chambers of the palace, painting a macabre portrait of a heartless sovereign scarred by the cruelty of fate. His legs, so the tales spun, were lifeless appendages, and his face, a grotesque canvas of boils. His was a visage that struck terror into the hearts of those who dared imagine it. Yet, destiny took an unforeseen turn on the eve of a grand wedding night. Princess Jaelyn, cursed and hidden away within the confines of Malavon Castle, was the unwilling pawn in a malevolent game of power. Her name, synonymous with evil, and her every step marked by the devil's touch. However, as she stepped into the grand hall to meet her monstrous groom, a man emerged before her, shattering the grotesque image painted by gossip. King Jetaime stood not as the rumored monster, but as a vision of unexpected sweetness, love, and undeniable handsomeness. The discrepancy between the tales and the reality sparked a whispered question in the minds of those who witnessed this surreal union — had she unwittingly married an imposter, or were the rumors nothing more than twisted fragments of a darker imagination? As King Jetaime and Princess Jaelyn embarked on their tumultuous journey, the chessboard of power and revenge unfolded. Locked in a dance of secrets and hidden motives, the two found themselves entangled in a love that defied the expectations set by the world. The King, who had never allowed anyone close, now placed his heart willingly in her hands. Princess Jaelyn, driven by the flames of vengeance, found an unexpected ally in the man she was supposed to despise. Together, they navigated the treacherous waters of courtly politics, facing a power struggle fueled by conspiracies that threatened to tear them apart. In the battle between love and destiny, the question lingered like an ethereal mist — was their connection a mere human maneuver or a divinely fated love? As the story unfolded, the narrative wove a tapestry of twists and turns, challenging the very essence of their existence. Could love truly conquer all things, or were some cases destined to be eternally hopeless? Two empty hearts, two lives devoid of love, collided in a dance of darkness and light. A monster king and an evil queen united to become one, their journey unfurling like a forbidden scroll. The world watched with bated breath as the saga unfolded — a tale of love, betrayal, and the relentless pursuit of a destiny that defied the predetermined life. Cover by Java graphics.

Flawless and red

Lyn looked stunning and flawless, just as the king had suggested. Perhaps she did it to provoke the king, but Lyn appeared like a goddess in her red ball gown with countless little buttons at the front. She stood calmly and patiently as her maids admired her.

"Are you finished yet?" Lyn muttered impatiently. She had to stand motionless as the maids struggled to button her gown, which was taking an eternity. She never cared for any color except black.

Without realizing it, King Jetaime had filled her wardrobe with various black garments. Madam Yina had personally prepared the gown for her to wear that evening. She only agreed to wear it because the color would irritate the king and, if she was lucky, he would send her away.

"A little more, my queen," Madam Yina muttered as the maids rushed to finish dressing her.

She took a deep breath as they stepped back. She turned to look at herself in the mirror and, if not for the king, she might have started to love her new favorite color. She smiled but the thought of the king made her squirm.

"Did you get what I asked for?" Lyn tore her gaze from the mirror long enough to glance at Moesha, her unspoken plea pooling in her eyes as she shook her head.

"You mean this? My queen," Madam Yina began in a smooth voice.

"These little tricks won't help you. Drugging the king to sleep won't make you have a baby. Why don't you understand, my dear? The longer it takes for you to have an heir, the longer your position, that of the king, and the entire kingdom will be at risk," Madam Yina tried to make Lyn understand that she needed to make peace with the king. As if the pair is enthusiastic about producing offspring in the upcoming days.

Here is the case Lyn doesn't care about, her position nor does the king's position much less his kingdom. They can all go to hell for all she cares about as long as no one gets to dictate to her.

Lyn must understand the gravity of the situation. "Don't you see the bigger picture?" Madam Yina demanded. "Think of your father, your home, and your people. If you cannot secure your position, what will happen to them?"

Lyn held Madam Yina's hand. "You remind me of my grandmother. I will try not to anger the king for your sake and the life of everyone in my service," she said, her tone filled with sadness. Madam Yina was left wondering about Lyn's words, but she knew better than to ask.

"The queen must fulfill her duties as a queen and a wife, and you must listen to what I am saying," Madam Yina continued, taking the opportunity to lecture Lyn. However, Lyn's thoughts were elsewhere, and she didn't hear a word of it. Madam Yina let out a deep breath of relief when Lyn smiled.

As Lyn was escorted to the king's bedchamber, she felt powerless. The king held all the power, and Lyn hated not having control or a fair chance to fight back.

Suddenly, Lyn stopped, clutching her dress. "What's wrong, my Queen? Why did you stop?" Madam Yina asked, concerned.

Lyn couldn't explain her fears. She had always been fearless, but now, she felt like she was walking on a dark and slippery path. She didn't know if her life would be in danger in the next minute or not. She couldn't shake the feeling that Jetaime, the king, had set a trap for her, leading to her destruction.

"Nothing, I just need a moment," the queen responded staring at all the maids and guards behind her, they tore at her as mockers at a feast, they gnashed at her with their teeth. At least that was how Lyn felt.

The Queen resumed her walk at a slow pace hoping someone will rescue her from her destruction and save her precious life from the King.

"Why is the Queen going to the King's bed chamber tonight? I thought you had a plan to separate them for good?" Consort Suva yells at her son Prince Danyon.

"It's Thursday Mother the Queen has to be with the King as per tradition of course you wouldn't know that since you never were with the King on holy Thursdays because you were never his green," Prince Danyon replied his mother without sparing her glance.

He hates that his plan failed to cause a drift between the King and the Queen didn't happen, he even hates it more he is not the one sitting on the golden throne and maybe he could have if his mother was the Queen that he wouldn't have to work tirelessly to have what could have been his birthright. Like the smooth path that was handed to a monster, his half-brother the King.

"Excuse me! I'm still your mother, have some respect. You can't talk to me like that after everything I've done so you and your brother could have a good life. You have no idea what I have to go through every single day so you can still maintain your title as princes of this great empire. Now you sit there and question me?" Consort Suva grumbles angrily at her son.

"Then stop asking me questions I have no answers to, that stupid maid lost the golden Phoenix hairpin, if she's caught that will be trouble for us. She could talk," Prince Danyon shuttered running his hand through his hair.

He doesn't understand why none of his plans weren't working, every single plan he made against the king and the queen only came back to hit them, he could get rid of the maid but the maid is the right hand of the Queen. Killing her will rise suspicious and that will get the King involved and investigate.

He felt as if he was losing his grip on the maid. Once that happened he will have nothing to make her keep her mouth shut.

"Leave it to me since you can't handle even a simple maid. Have you heard any news from your brother?" Consort Suva asked changing the topic, handling that simple maid was something he still had the power to do.

"Someone spotted him at the farm, he was feeding pegs to earn money for food, I have sent our spies to confirm and bring him home if it's truly him," Prince Danyon announce looking at his mother who was horrified to think her precious son is now feeding pigs. How disgusting, she frowns her face clenching her fist.

Her anger only goes above the clouds, "You find him and bring him back to the palace. My poor child. The stupid Queen is going to pay for this dearly," Consort Suva thought feeling an oracle of anger in her heart that has shielded the clouds.

"What about the King and the Prime Minister? Don't forget his life is in danger here?" Prince Danyon asks not that he was particularly concerned about their mother's favorite son but for the fact that his being away from the palace made him once again the center of attention and the next to the throne.

He very well knows that his darling brother was also eyeing the throne and if they were to choose a candidate between them to ascend the throne his mother and the prime minister wouldn't think twice about putting him on the throne because they will want a puppet on the throne that they can easily control but not a true King which is him.

"I don't care about them I can only protect him if he's by my side and here in this palace. I can't let him live in that condition just bring him home," Consort Suva added as her heart ache just thinking about the condition her son could be in tore her heart apart.

"Of course, Mother," Prince Danyon responded haughtily before striding away. His pride was evident, almost like a necklace, and his anger was worn like a garment. His eyes were filled with a desire for revenge.
