The Monstrous King and his sweet Evil Queen

In the mysterious realm of Kalvon, where shadows whispered tales of Kings and Queens, none were as infamous as King Jetaime. Whispers echoed through the cobblestone corridors and darkened chambers of the palace, painting a macabre portrait of a heartless sovereign scarred by the cruelty of fate. His legs, so the tales spun, were lifeless appendages, and his face, a grotesque canvas of boils. His was a visage that struck terror into the hearts of those who dared imagine it. Yet, destiny took an unforeseen turn on the eve of a grand wedding night. Princess Jaelyn, cursed and hidden away within the confines of Malavon Castle, was the unwilling pawn in a malevolent game of power. Her name, synonymous with evil, and her every step marked by the devil's touch. However, as she stepped into the grand hall to meet her monstrous groom, a man emerged before her, shattering the grotesque image painted by gossip. King Jetaime stood not as the rumored monster, but as a vision of unexpected sweetness, love, and undeniable handsomeness. The discrepancy between the tales and the reality sparked a whispered question in the minds of those who witnessed this surreal union — had she unwittingly married an imposter, or were the rumors nothing more than twisted fragments of a darker imagination? As King Jetaime and Princess Jaelyn embarked on their tumultuous journey, the chessboard of power and revenge unfolded. Locked in a dance of secrets and hidden motives, the two found themselves entangled in a love that defied the expectations set by the world. The King, who had never allowed anyone close, now placed his heart willingly in her hands. Princess Jaelyn, driven by the flames of vengeance, found an unexpected ally in the man she was supposed to despise. Together, they navigated the treacherous waters of courtly politics, facing a power struggle fueled by conspiracies that threatened to tear them apart. In the battle between love and destiny, the question lingered like an ethereal mist — was their connection a mere human maneuver or a divinely fated love? As the story unfolded, the narrative wove a tapestry of twists and turns, challenging the very essence of their existence. Could love truly conquer all things, or were some cases destined to be eternally hopeless? Two empty hearts, two lives devoid of love, collided in a dance of darkness and light. A monster king and an evil queen united to become one, their journey unfurling like a forbidden scroll. The world watched with bated breath as the saga unfolded — a tale of love, betrayal, and the relentless pursuit of a destiny that defied the predetermined life. Cover by Java graphics.

Candies for the queen

Jetaime appeared mildly annoyed after encountering a large crowd in town. He dislikes noisy and crowded places. Meanwhile, Byron seems content as he hasn't had any official duties to attend to recently. Jetaime couldn't remember the last time he himself enjoyed the rain festival.

Unable to bear the crowd, he walks fast, "Wait, my lo-" Byron runs towards him in haste. He was busy enjoying the scenes. Jetaime turned his face and warned. "Seriously!"

"I apologize, I had forgotten that this is an unofficial mission to get candies for the queen. Isn't it exciting?" Byron said innocently but noticed Jetaime staring at him mockingly. He couldn't blame the king. After all, the empire's king could easily have any type of candy he desired with just a word, but where's the fun in that, right?

"I'm sorry," Byron says with a smile, seemingly unaware of his mistake. He had predicted this moment when Jetaime first laid eyes on the queen's portrait. He knew it was the start of a love story, and he was proven right. Jetaime ignores him and continues walking, searching for a candy stand.

He was known as the beast to the world and Byron was his leash. Anyone who heard his name knew the danger he posed and would be filled with fear, possibly even lying on the ground and begging for their life. Jetaime had a chilly demeanor that made him difficult to approach, but he surprised Byron by attempting to smile at a candy seller, which was out of character and left Byron in shock.

Jetaime smiled at the man and said, "I'll take all of it. Can you please wrap it for me?" The man happily wrapped the candies and suggested that Jetaime pay only half the price since he was happy to go celebrate the rest of the evening with his family. Jetaime gave him gold coins that were far more than the actual cost of the candy and said, "Keep the change. It's your lucky night." The seller was left speechless.

As Jetaime walked away, Byron raised an eyebrow and asked his friend, the king, "Can I go back home to my wife? Unlike you, we are trying to make a baby."

Jetaime repeated in surprise, "A baby?"

"Shall I send you to inspect the borders?" The statement wasn't meant to be menacing, but he had the power to do so if he desired.

Byron murmured, "I'd be honored to stand by your side and assist you with anything you require tonight."

Upon arriving at the palace, Jetaime quietly stated, "Please extend my greetings to your spouse."

"You mean that?" Byron was confused, not sure what he meant.

"Go make your baby before I change my mind," Jetaime ordered with a soft smile.

Byron smiled at him, and as always, he left fast before he changed his mind, or something came up.

Lyn was growing bored and couldn't sleep and images of her past triggered by tonight's incident started to creep into her head. It was like several voices screaming in her head.

She holds her head tightly with her hand trying to silence the voices.

"See what I got you!" Lyn hears Jetaime's voice, not only his voice but the smell of something nice and sweet, she tried to remember where she first smelled it.

"Oh no, don't tell me it's the candies from the town square?" Lyn grins looking like a little girl who has seen candies.

"Yes," Jetaime smiled and the smile on Lyn's face was satisfying. He was glad he got her the candies.

He hand them over to her and she started eating them immediately. "Do you want some?" Lyn asked after muffing two into her mouth already.

"It's all for you," Jetaime smiled and watched her eat in silence. She could effortlessly make him happy. Just watching her eat made him so happy.

Jetaime suggested to Lyn that they will visit the town square together next time, and they should bring Byron and Moesha along too. Lyn was feeling extremely happy. Unlike other girls who fancy jewelry, Lyn was distinctive, and that's what made Jetaime attracted to her.

"Seriously, when can we go?" Lyn asked sharply. "When you feel better," Jetaime proposed.

"I'm fine, see," Lyn tried to tell him she was fine but he wasn't buying that. He watches her eat all the candies.

He initially considered stopping her from taking too many but ultimately decided to let her have them and be happy. However, Lyn began experiencing a stomach ache but persisted nonetheless.

Jetaime noticed there was one candy left and asked if Lyn was going to have it. Lyn replied that she wanted Moesha to try it, indicating that she would give the candy to her friend.

"You can have it and we will get her another one tomorrow," Jetaime said, "No, it's a thank-you gift, for trying to save me today," Lyn hissed with a smile.

"Excuse me, but where is my thank you gift? I was the one who saved you, in case you've forgotten," Jetaime says in a gentle tone.

Lyn smiles and swiftly plants a kiss on his cheek and covered her head with the blanket. Jetaime didn't see that coming which took him by surprise and also awaken something nice in him. Feeling her soft moist lips on his cheek. Luckily he had taken off his mask else he wouldn't have felt it down his spine as he did.

"Hey, that's not fair. I want another one," Jetaime complained, his voice low. "Lyn, wake up," he said, attempting to pull the blanket off her head, but she held onto it tightly.

"Alright, good night," Jetaime hissed, kissing the blanket, and steps out of bed. He still had some scroll to examine before the next day.

Lyn noticed him getting out of bed and quickly pulled the blanket over her head before leaning against the wall. Suddenly, she asked with a jealous expression, "Are you going to see her?"

Jetaime didn't understand what she was saying at first. He turned to look at her and asked, "What?" A grin formed on his face as she acted cute again, making it hard for him to resist her charms and alluring eyes.

"Just tell me if you are going to see her....that princess Asa," Lyn mumbled, sounding jealous without realizing it.

"What! you mean Asa?" asked Jetaime, correcting his companion. "She is no longer a princess, so it would be more appropriate to refer to her as Lady Asa or simply Asa. And no, I have no interest in seeing her. Are you feeling jealous? That's adorable," Jetaime grinned, noticing Lyn's attempts to conceal her envy. Lyn couldn't help feeling envious when she saw Asa in the east wing and referred to herself as the king's slave.

"No, I'm not. You can be with whomever you want to be with. You are the king, right?" Lyn mumbled, raising her gaze to look at him. Jetaime couldn't help but smile.

"So you wouldn't mind if I go to her bed chamber right now?" Jetaime tries to tease her a little more. Lyn was angry but was trying hard not to appear bothered. She tried to convince herself, he was the king and is bound to have as many women as he desires, but her poor heart didn't feel at peace with the idea, and she doesn't understand why.

"You can go see her. Would you like me to bring her here instead? I can go back to my bed-chamber," Lyn whispered, avoiding eye contact with him.

"Damn!! You have no idea what you are doing to me. You are being too cute, and it's setting me on fire," Jetaime tilt his head as his eyes were still glued to her. If only she knew the things he wanted to do to her, but he couldn't. He wants to make sure she is ready and trusts him enough to want to consummate their marriage.

Lyn asked with a grin, "So, the answer is no?" However, as soon as she saw Jetaime smiling, she hastily wiped the smile off her face and tried to act nonchalant, but failed.

"No, besides, she is not my slave, and I let her out because of you, not because I want her. She is not my type," Jetaime hissed, biting the side of his lips and staring at her.

"Huh, not your type? Hmm, if I may ask, what's your type?" Lyn repeated curiously. She obviously wanted to know if she was his type.

"You really want to do this?" Jetaime asked, walking slowly towards her.

"Do what?" Lyn acts innocent. "You know my type or should I show you," Jetaime hissed, climbing the bed slowly while his gaze never left Lyn's eyes. Lyn blushed. He made it more than obvious who he likes. Lyn finds herself smiling, excited by the revelation. When Jetaime was close enough, she covered her head up with the blanket again.

"Good night, Your Highness," she intentionally said to sound formal. Jetaime halts seeing this. He got excited all for nothing again, just to be left halfway.

"You enjoy turning me on and leaving me hanging, don't you?" Jetaime hissed, shaking his head and sitting on the bed now.

Lyn smiled and asked, "Did you say something?" She wasn't sure why her heart was pounding so loudly and her face felt hot, so she touched her face with her palm. Jetaime sighed and said, "No, just go to sleep, and I'll finish up some work and join you." With great effort, Jetaime got off the bed.
