Vermilion City___
Kota walked around the city until he reached the place he searched for.
Entering, Kota saw that the battle ground was surrounded by lights.
Two men came to him and asked what he was here for. Which Kota obviously replied saying he wanted to challenge the gym.
"Brat, do you think you can beat me?, " A tall man with spiky yellow hair and an open chest came.
"I don't want to waste time, " Said Kota, his eyes with no emotion with his poker face.
Lt. Surge, the gym leader, heard this and was pissed off by Kota.
"Your pokemon better be a good practice for my Raichu!, " Said Surge as a yellow pokemon came forward and looked at Kota with mockery.
"If you can defeat my Raichu then this Thunder Badge is yours!, " Surge took out a yellow badge and showed it to Kota.
'A Raichu which evolved by the use of a thunder stone right after it was caught, ' Thought Kota standing opposite Surge.
"Go! Raichu! Send his pokemon to the Pokemon Center!, " Commanded Surge as Raichu stepped on the battle ground.
"Raaiichuu!".
Kota threw a pokeball from which white light flashed and a green bug pokemon came.
"Scytheeer!".
Scyther looked at the yellow mouse pokemon, this was his first official pokemon match.
The friction by his blades made a metallic sound, if it were to cut something.
That thing will definitely come up in two parts.
"Raichu! Thunder!, " Ordered Surge, Raichu nodded his head and clenched his fists.
"Raiiichuuu!".
A yellow coloured thunder spread out of Raichu and headed toward Scyther at a very fast speed.
Light flashed in Scyther's eyes, he was quick enough to dodge the Thunder Attack.
*Boom*
The thunder exploded with the contact on the ground leaving a crater.
"Again!, " Said Surge, he smirked towards Kota, already deciding his victory.
'Do you think you can dodge continuously?, ' Thought Surge while lowering his head and staring at his Raichu.
"Run him out of electricity, " Said Kota in a low voice enough to be heard by only them.
As if a grin emerged on his face, Scyther showed his sharp razor teeth to Raichu.
*Boom!*
The loud explosions of thunder sounded in the entire Gym.
All the workers, and the trainers that came to challenge were shocked.
"How is that Scyther dodging all those Thunder Attacks? Is it not exhausted by doing so?, " Asked a trainer clenching his fist tightly.
"I didn't know but that Scyther seems very strong and fast, " Replied the trainer on the side, they watched the battle with full focus.
On the battle ground, dozens of craters were formed and dust flew everywhere.
"Finish it! X-Scissor!, " Said Kota while waving his hand in front of his face to clear the dust.
"Scyther!".
From the battleground covered in dust, a shout was heard.
*Slash*
A white light flashed from within, everyone around saw that and Surge had wide open eyes.
'It can't be!, ' Thought Surge while running in the battleground and searching for Raichu.
As the dust cleared, Surge was in the middle holding Raichu in his arms.
Scyther not far was gasping for breath, he looked at Surge with cold eyes.
Ready to kill at any moment when the order comes.
"You did well for your first official match, " Praised Kota he then stepped in as well.
On the watching side. Ash, Misty and Brock had finally made it to the Gym.
They watched as Kota walked from the battleground with his new Gym Badge.
Behind him was Scyther, his eyes were full of pride and coldness.
'Too strong, ' Was what everyone thought, except one person and that was Ash.
'I have to become even stronger to defeat my big brother!, ' Thought Ash, he clenched his fist in secret as Pikachu stared at Scyther.
"You made it here, " Said Kota, he came next to Ash and looked at his two friends behind.
"Yes, we reached the city just few hours ago!, " Replied Ash, but there seems to be something wrong with him.
'He didn't call me big brother?, ' Thought Kota, he listened to Ash speak and his lips curled up slightly.
"Sorry about this, but you should challenge the gym tomorrow because I don't see that Raichu waking up today, " Said Kota, he petted Ash on his shoulder while walking away.
"He is right, Ash. Your big brother did that Raichu pretty dirty, " Said Misty as her eyes stared at the leaving figure of Kota.
"You two really said the truth. Ash, your big brother is really strong. I can already see him in top 50 in Indigo League, " Said Brock, then the three exited the gym seeing Surge rush towards the Pokemon Center.

Port___
Kota walked in the big luxurious building, as he did he saw the counter.
"How may I help you, sir?, " The receptionist asked smiling towards Kota.
"I need a room for two days, " Said Kota, the receptionist nodded and they sorted out the paper works.
"Here's your keys, sir, " Taking the keys, Kota took the lift and came to his room door.
There was a number written on it, 122 no.
*Clank*
When he got in, his eyes fell on the wide glass from which the sea could be seen.
This room was worth four thousand per day, but Kota was not short on money.
His net worth alone was more than one million, without including the pocket money.
"Since I am in Pokemon World. Shouldn't I enjoy some adventures?, " Muttered Kota, he looked at the huge ship docked.
This ship was the one where Ash will meet an ambush by the Team Rocket.
Kota took shower and changed into a new set of clothes.
His bag laid on the bed, and in it was a ticket for the same ship which will be board by Ash.
He decided, sometimes it's better to go with the flow and enjoy what you always wanted to.
"Team Rocket, I hope you will be ready for me"
