But before he can continue Leo suddenly blacked out as he didn't noticed that he was out of breath when the fire and smoke limited his oxygen.

The next day.
Leo woke up feeling refreshed as he stretched his body only for a memory to suddenly appeared, breaking his stillness.

Not having the force to stop crying, Leo didn't stopped himself from crying over the dream that he had.
"Argh, I just have a realistic lucid dream" Leo complained wiping his eyes with his hand.

The sound of footsteps resounded which made Leo frantically wipe his eyes to hide that he cried.....

"Wait when did I have a family?"
Shocked, Leo quickly dropped down and searched the knife that he hid under his bed, only to be horrified that there is no knife underneath his bed.

Panicked, Leo looks around only to halt as the room feels unfamiliar.
"Wait I just noticed but my height seems to be small?"
Stunned, Leo raised his hands at an eye level, and there he saw that his hands are smaller than before.

But before he can respond to his circumstances, the door opened making his body flinch and repeatedly stepped back in cautiousness.
"Oh, thankfully you are now awake Leo," An old man said looking at Leo sympathetically.
Surprised about the old man, Leo unexpectedly experienced an intense flood of information in his brain, containing the memories of a 10-year-old child.
Looking at Leo, Surprised and scared behavior, the village chief sighed and approached him patting his head.
"Don't worry, I'm sure your mother is in good hands now and I'm sure she is proud that she managed to protect her son from dying but I'm more sure that if her son becomes someone amazing then she will become more proud in heaven" The old man reassured while sweat dripped down from his forehead.
Apparently, he is not good at consoling and using words.
Leo heard the Old man but was still processing what he just received so he slightly nodded making the old man smile slightly.
"Well since you are alone by yourself why don't you come and join us from now on then," The old man said stroking Leo's head.
"I'm sure my daughter will be happy" He added with a teasing tone to lighten up the mood.
"I'm okay now village chief thank you for the offer," Leo said, finally done at processing the info dumped on him.
Surprised at Leo's change in behavior, the village chief unconsciously removed his hands and stepped back.
Leo already know this old man, he was the village chief named Thomas.
His nature is just like what you expect of an old man from a child's perspective, so that's why he is quite respected in this small town.
"Well since you said so but if you want help you can come to me anytime," Thomas said smiling like a good old man.
Leo feel worried when the old man stepped back thinking that he scared the old man for talking maturely but he honestly didn't know how to say it as a child if he is already an adult in his past life.
He might be embarrassed if he acted like a child right now.

Sighing a relief, the old man patted his head and smiled.
