I Missed You

"Do you see now mortal? What have you to bargain with me?"

I waited for a couple of seconds to get my thoughts together. If I were to speak in any way, I might end up being this guy's meal.

"Speak mortal. How do you wish to bargain with me? If however, you cannot answer, your life will be prisoned as well."

Its voice sounded irritated and impatient at the end. The years of being trapped in this place must've made it this way. I mean who knows how long it's been trapped here?

I paused for a moment took a deep breath and opened my mouth.

"I'm the first being to be here wouldn't that make me special? If I can somehow get in can't I go out as well?"

The creature leaned its head forward, its massive face only a few meters away from me. Even though it was still considered a distance away I could feel its breath pushing my body slightly from where I was standing.

"Your words have meaning mortal. You indeed are the first to arrive in eons. Yet… as you said, you arrived here not at your merit."

Damn it, I thought maybe if I bought some time I could figure out how to get back.

"I know, but if I can figure out how to go back with you, will you let me be."

"You? You have barely lived for a century, what have you believed that I can be freed?"

The creature's eyes all focused their attention on me when at first some were idly looking around, now every pupil was directly staring down at me.

My hands were beginning to sweat, I somehow made it this far without dying, maybe I can come up with something that can help us out.

Then I remembered. I have a sub-space!

But, can it even open be big enough for this guy to go in? And even if he did somehow manage to go inside, the chains wouldn't magically come off his body.

With my brain on overdrive, I tried to come up with a solution to how I can resolve this.

Maybe I can somehow decipher the runes on the chains? No, it will take way too long considering that thousands are in each chain.

What if I go into the sub-space?

Hahh, no, even though I'm safe I'll still be stuck here.

A couple of seconds ticked by and the creature let out a bellowing sound.

"Mortal I can see through your eyes. You can't deceive me, you're inept to escape this place. As I have predicted, you're nothing but a pathetic human."

Its words were laced with cold unrelenting hatred and spite.

A threatening aura loomed all over its body adding on top to the pressure already weighing on me.

"Agh!"

A grunt escaped my lips as I tried to forcefully push myself against the bone-crushing weight.

My mind slowly became delirious as my breathing became haggard. The pressure was much stronger than I thought leaving me competently exhausted just from trying to stand up.

However, my mind was still occupied with thinking of escaping this place. Yet nothing seemed to come to mind until I remembered one crucial detail on my stats.

[Dominance: 1,000,000]

[Summons: Leviathan, Smaug, Trigon, Eternal army (Unable to summon)]

[Leviathan:

A powerful being that ********* the race of *******. ******** was ******** and ****** commanded *******. Was sealed by ********** due to **********. Ending ******* ********.]

A list of words consisting of details from Leviathan's history, but unfortunately most of the information was hidden.

"Ahh!"

I let out another groan of pain as the pressure nearly doubled. My knees knelt on the floor as my body nearly collapsed. But as I felt my body about giving in a new set of notifications opened up in front of me.

{Leviathan:

{New ability unlocked:

Eternal army (cannot be summoned)]

{Would you like to summon Leviathan?}

{Yes} {No}

I quickly read through every message that popped up, a surprised look on my face from every new notification I saw, and immediately answered out loud.

"YES!"

As soon as I responded A looming silence erupted. Everything went quiet as if everything in the world stopped moving all at once.

Then suddenly an orange light flew out of my chest. A small but beautiful orb of light seemingly alive as it pulsated rhythmically with my heart.

It slowly drew closer toward Leviathan, seemingly unafraid of the god-like being.

As I watched the ball of light slowly float toward Leviathan, I couldn't help but have a questioning look on my face when I saw the creature seemingly lost in thought while looking at the orb approaching it.

Its massive eyes are eagerly watching the sphere float towards itself as if waiting for this moment its whole life.

The pressure weighing down on me has already disappeared. I stood up, my knees still aching from the gravity pinning me down.

Everything was still silent, not a sound came out of our lips. And as the moment the orb finally reached the creature a feeling of bliss and relief flowed within me. Soothing my anxiety and fear.

Immediately after it made contact, Leviathan began to glow an incandescent light, completely overshadowing the brightness from earlier.

The chains that were bound on its body broke apart into millions of pieces as the creature dropped its limbs, finally free from entrapment.

Not a moment of fear was in my eyes, I felt as if all of this was natural, that this being in front of me that I thought was a monstrous entity that could destroy the world, was nothing but an animal torn away from its home.

The bright light didn't bother me at all as I observed the sight in front of me. With every second a change seems to occur as the creature's body morphs to a new form.

Then within a few minutes, the light slowly began to dissipate revealing the newly discovered being beneath it.

But what I saw next wholly shattered my expectations.

A beautiful figure of a woman stepped out of her light cocoon, like a caterpillar to a butterfly.

I stood from where I was standing, my mouth left open agape as I watched a woman approach me.

Her steps were slightly hesitant but were full of excitement.

I rested my arms to my sides unable to make a move.

I waited for the woman to approach me as her voluptuous figure finally reached where I was standing.

Then in a second her beautiful red lips opened.

"Why didn't you tell me it was you?"

Her words were imprinted in my mind as she jumped on my chest hugging me in a loving embrace.

"I missed you."
