Daedalus

The moment Persephone stepped inside she was stunned by the marvel of architecture in front of her.

Her eyes instantly darted around exploring the large circular room before her.

With massive marble pillars reaching to the very tops and windows glowing from sunlight.

Circling around were paintings depicting the many gods of Olympus, each one seemingly alive as they moved like ripples on water.

Another bizarre sight was these tiny creatures, each one unique, made of pure light illuminating the already well-lit room as they excitedly pranced around upon meeting the mysterious stranger.

Persephone stood idly as she looked at the scenery in front of her. A beautiful symphony of architecture and life, constructed out of the true love of art.

She gazed from top to bottom fully engraving the new world in front of her.

In contrast with her old life, this sight alone outshined the years of her lonesome.

But as she thoroughly enjoyed herself, a translucent screen appeared in front of her.

A slight shock was on her face, but she quickly shook her head upon reading the contents.

[Greetings Persephone!]

[This is the… uhhh, oh right! Ehem* this is the automated voice messaging system proudly created by yours truly…]

[ME! Daedalus! I mean by Daedalus!]

Persephone looked at the screen and an image of a bratty little girl appeared in her mind.

[Hey! I know that look! And no, for your record I have quite a big bust if I do say so myself humph*.]

The text sounded smug and Persephone scoffed at it before saying.

"I don't know what you're talking about. I was just thinking about how cool this screen is."

[Haha, pretty cool right? I thought of it myself. Yup, all me, no help needed.]

"I see, so you thought of it yourself. I woulda thought Daedalus invented it seeing how complex it is. Or are you supposed to be Daedalus herself? Or are you just some brat pretending to be her?"

[Audible gasp* How dare you! I'm not some brat! I mean, of course, I'm Daedalus! There's no other inventor out there as good as me!]

"Oh? Then what about the mighty blacksmith Hephaestus? I hear she created a living being out of her pure dexterity alone. Can you do that?"

[Pfft, light work. Faye has always been copying from me! Obviously.]

"Faye?"

[Oh, yup. She's my junior in terms of creation, so she's just lil ol' Faye.]

"I see, the grand inventor Daedalus truly is a master class of her own."

[Yessir! Hmm… ya know what, I like you! You can call me Deyha, be sure to be proud of that, Not many people can call me by that name.]

"Deyha? Okay, well nice to meet you Deyha, My name's Persephone."

[Umu, nice to meet you! Now about that job, let me do something real quick.]

As soon as the last message was sent the entire room darkened. The spirits vanished and the glass windows were covered. Then right in the center a small circle with an oddly cute design began to glow followed by a blinding light shooting up from to the ceiling.

Yet despite the intense beam, it didn't seem to hurt when looking at it as Persephone watched the beam shine and then dwindle down.

Once the light disappeared a small figure can be seen proudly striking a pose.

With her ample breasts and wide hips, she wasn't lying when she said she was well-endowed.

"Ehe. It's me! Daedalus! The greatest inventor in all of Rath'nia. I'm here to do your service!"

Persephone couldn't help but smile at the little girl, considering that she is 6'1 this person must be 5'6 at most.

"Hey! Why're you looking at me like that again? For the record, I'm 5'7 and I'm waaayy older than you! Humph."

Deyha crossed her arms and turned to the side.

Persephone chuckled for a bit then said.

"Fufu, well I'm sorry Deyha I didn't mean to offend you."

'You just looked like how I imagined you to be fufu, well besides being busty.'

Persephone left out that last part, thinking that Deyha might get more irritated than she is now.

Although with the way Deyha sounds, it's more like she was teasing her more than anything.

"Humph, then I'll accept your apology."

She glanced at Persephone before opening her arms and placing them above her head.

"Now enough chitchat, you want to be a dungeon master?"

Persephone nodded her head excitedly as she watched Deyha manifest magic around her hands.

"Excited are we? Well then, get ready cause this might hurt!"

"Huh?"

"Inhale* Rahhhh!"

Deyha breathed in and roared at Persephone releasing the magic she was amassing in her hands.

Persephone didn't have the chance to react as she stood there taking the full brunt of the attack.

But as the beam of magic struck her, what she thought was pain, was instead something pleasant.

It was a strange sensation as if warm water was massaging her entire body, a mixture of a soft texture like silk and fluidity of a liquid.

'Woah.'

Soon information was directly implemented in her brain. Thousands of hours all compiled within a minute.

Yet despite the overwhelming amount of knowledge being transported in her mind, she didn't feel overwhelmed or exhausted.

Persephone thought to herself about how she was taking in all this information and remembered all the various spells her mother put on her.

'Ah! So that's what she was preparing me for. Thank you, Mother… I promise I won't disappoint you anymore.'

However little did she know, her brain was already well accustomed to taking in large quantities of knowledge.

From her first dream, her brain already started training itself.

A transfer of information like this is a simple night's dream for her, someone who's been dreaming detailed adventures for the past 500 years.

As the knowledge slowly came to a stop, a pleasant feeling surrounded her body.

Like sunlight after rain, she felt renewed and refreshed.

"Ohh! It seems you were a lot more talented than I thought."

"Fufu, thank you."

"Well, that's a given. You are his wife."

"Huh? Come again?"

"Nothing, you'll figure it out sooner or later.

Anyways since you now know the gist of everything I'll transport you to the first trial."

"Oh and just for the record, I'm here personally only for you.

I've never done this with any of the dungeon masters.

After all, they don't deserve my time. So rejoice! You got the chance to meet me!"

"Really? Thank you, I suppose. And it was a pleasure to meet you oh great inventor Daedalus."

"Ehehe. Yup, I knew we'd get along. Alright off you go then!"

Before she knew it, she disappeared into a pillar of light.

Deyha stood there as she watched the remnants of the light particles disappear.

"Has it already been that long Mother?"

Suddenly a tall veiled figure appeared behind her.

"It seems it has, my child."

"Hmm, isn't it a bit too early though? The prophecy stated it'll be in a couple of decades from now."

"Iggy, prophecies are simply the Fates' own predictions. It is destiny made from our own choices that will lead to our future."

Iggy rolled her eyes and floated in the air.

"Then why do I have to keep pretending to be you?"

"Well my child, my presence is not yet needed. Maybe somewhere in the future when we meet

'him'."

Daedalus looked at her daughter warmly before disappearing.

"Ugh, it's always that guy, why is it always that guy? Is he him or something?

Hah whatever, better check up on what Persephone is doing."

Iggy snapped her fingers and multiple screens appeared in front of her.

"Hmm? What's this?"

In one of the screens, a white-haired man can be seen loitering outside the door.

"Zeus?"

"With that ring, you'll slowly feel your lust lose control. And before you know it… I'll have you begging for my cock~ Hehehe."

Iggy opened her eyes wide and a mischievous smile was on her face.

"Hoho guess he forgot about the tower's surveillance system. It seems this douchebag is up to something."

She turned off the screens and teleported to Persephone's location.

She then turned herself invisible and waved her hand around.

A stream of magic flew out of her hand and touched the golden ring on Persephone's finger.

'Let me tweak this a little bit… hmm, alright that should do.'

'Now you'll only feel lust for that guy.

Ehe you're welcome, now good luck!'
