6 Celebrated Time.....

After Lutfa and Carlos left, Lia was all alone in the bright void world with her choices. But now, the loneliness didn't scare her. Instead, she appreciated the loneliness and silence. It provided her with much needed time and ambience to think.

Her choices were very clear.

Either she would have to return to the mortal world and fulfill her destiny that her mother designed for her, or she can give up everything and die.

Struggle was on both end.

The only difference was the timing. And that's what she had to choose.

Struggle when you are equipped to struggle or give up everything and still be forced to struggle when you're atmost helpless. For Lia knew that the sorcerer would come after her either way. Because even Goddess of Destiny can't change what she has already designed, but Dahlia can.

That's why she stood out from crowd. That's why she was a double-edged sword.

She can use her powers to stop the sorcerer and help to protect the creation or vice versa.

Lutfa's words resonated in her mind. ' Consequences don't matter, but the will to overcome them does. '

Boy, was she right!!!

Lia had to come to a decision and fast because Clytia's scarifice only bought her a few years of time according to the mortal world, which would run out any minute.

Lia took a deep breath to calm herself. She remembered the scene at the monastery tower and her mother's last words.

' Mother!! Father!! I know you guys are somewhere out there and I promise I'll find you. Just hang in there. '

Lia vowed and then started blankly at the cosmos. From that single glance, an enchantress was born. An enchantress who would redefine revenge.

....

Over the mountains of Dehradun, the sun rose like any other day. Delicate hues of yellows and reds filled the morning sky perfectly displaying the calm and not yet awoken valley, tinting shades of blush on the pale snowy peaks of the great Himalayas. The lush green slopes glittered like diamonds as the morning dews reflected the golden rays. But today, the sunrise was more than just a picturesque site. It was a symbol of hope and a promise of a new beginning. Today, the sun celebrated the beginning of change; celebrated time.

Because the most powerful thing about time is that it changes, giving everyone an equal opportunity to make a difference.

In a heavily curtained room of an old mansion, on the mountain top, filled with fresh flowers and exquisite furnishings that was designed to be extremely cozy, was a young girl who was still sleeping. Her long silk like hair was neatly combed, her baby soft skin was fairer than the purest white jade making her white silk sleeping gown almost invisible. Her tender lips were like rubies on white jade. On the wall opposite of the heavily curtained wall to celling windows hung a beautiful rainbow crystal necklace latched with a delicate gold chain.

Below the hanging crystal necklace was a queen size bed in which the young girl was peaceful sleeping. On the other end of the room was an old grandfather clock that was waiting for the hour of the sunrise.

Dong!! Dong!! Dong!!

At the sound of the grandfather clock, a tiny shimmering light appeared on the right wrist of the sleeping girl and engraved itself around like a bracelet . After the light faded, a beautiful gold bracelet with pink jades was on her wrist.

Curtains opened themselves to welcome the rays of the rising sun. Touched by the glistening sunlight , the rainbow crystal began to glow, casting it's shades on the sleeping girl.

The girl's eyes which had not reacted even the slightest, were now trembling for the first time in seven years.

Some time passed before those pair of eyes gradually opened up bit by bit. Her long eyelashes were like the wings of a butterfly that started to unfold.

When the golden rays of the rising sun touched those unfanthomly beautiful eyes, it was simply breathtaking.

Her eyes glimmer like diamonds under the sun.

For a while her vision remained saturated by the glaring sunlight. It was long before her eyes slowly started to adjust and she could see everything clearly.

The first thing that attracted her attention was the night lamp that was sitting on the bedside table. It was a beautiful piece that was made using fairy lights. Judging from the materials used to make the lamp, she guessed it was probably a do it yourself item.

The smell of the fresh flowers were tickling her nostrils for quite sometime, but it was only now that she realised the presence. Looking around, she found four large brass vase in each corner of the room and a small one on the other bedside table which were filled with exotic forest flowers. There was also a ceramic vase full of white roses sitting on a large table exactly in the centre of the room.

Outside the window she saw the lush green mountains and their pale snowy peaks, glittering under the sun. The melody of the chripping bird made her ponder whether she has entered into a dreamland.

She tried to sit up, but to her surprise she couldn't even lift her own finger.

Click!!

The sound turned her attention towards the door. She saw a chubby middle aged woman entering the room with a tray full of glass bottles. The woman placed the tray on the large table and began to sort out the contents.

The girl keenly observed the woman's actions without a blink.

A minute or two later, the woman felt a pair of eyes on her and she subconsciously looked up.

Crash!!!

The tray fell on the floor along with half of its contents.

When the woman looked up, she was face to face with a pair of unfanthomly beautiful mythical eyes staring right back at her.

She immediately froze, colour drained from her face. It was as if she had seen a ghost. She took a few steps backward while mumering to herself.

"Mi.. Mi.. Miss....Lia!!!! "

The moment she finished, she swiftly made an about turn and ran out of the room.

' Surely I don't look that ugly now, do I??? '

Lia asked herself.
