8: The Reason

" Someone framed me."Nyx said with a doubtless face.

I asked" Who would?"

" That I'm not sure of. During my journey to this point, I've made a lot of enemies as one would most likely have if he is a God, and a God who is known as a Demon. "

" I can't think of many who could do this. But I know a few and they are the one who did it. ", Nyx said with a stern face.

" But they didn't had to kill all of those innocent people who had nothing to do with me. They lost their lives, for what?! Nothing! ", he was very angry.

" I shouldn't ask him about about the people who died, it will only worse his temper. And I can see that the people he is talking about, he cared for them.", I thought while looking at Nyx's angry and somewhat sad face.

I was now thinking who could go against him and "frame" THIS guy. I mean i know just how strong this man is! He took on a couple of gods just by himself and we still got away with it! And I'm very thankful for that.

We both were sitting on the cold grass near the lake. Looking at the beautiful red sun as it was going down. There was still time before it to fully set.

"I came from a very prestige family, the noblest of all. Our family didn't focused on martial arts, it was the only family line in the nobles doing businesses .", Nyx didn't had a sad or troubling look on his face when he said this to me but a rather tranquil one.

He continued,

We have too many differentiation between other clans which I never bothered myself with. And the explanation will take a lot of time which I don't like so we'll save it for later. But right now, we need to get out of this forest. Because each and every forest of the 𝐺𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑡 𝐶𝑜𝑛𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑛𝑡 is dangerous at night. So we better get moving. "

" What? ", I asked.

The sun was now a minutes away from setting and I was panicking about what he said.

And as I was panicking, the sun sets. I had a chill ran down my entire spine from up to down below, TO MY LEGS!

" Wolves?! Of course, wolves! If you don't find wolves in a tropical forest where else will you find them?!"
