"What do you mean? You want me to be your disciple?", I was confused as he asked me out of the blue like that.

Nyx nodded his head in agreement. Although looking a little irritated given his big ego.

It took me while to process it. But I had to make sure of something.

" I can't go back to my world now, can I? ", I asked Nyx.

"During our battles, the blows made a time warp causing you to be sucked into it. The chances of happening that again is, one in a million, no, it was only that one chance.", Nyx replied with a serious tone.

I, myself, kind of knew this and I can't do anything about it as I'm weak. Weak, right now that is.

I closed my eyes for a while and collected my thoughts, trying to calm myself down and accepting the situation.

"OK, I'll do it. ", I answered.

Nyx looked at me seriously, " Although I am the one who asked you but still you do know that this path is covered in bloodshed. And ultimately your worst death imaginable."

"Yeah, I know. I'm ready for it.", I answered with a hint of hesitation as my throat was parched because of the pressure he was giving of.

I lowered my head down sitting in a dogeza pose, sitting on all fours like a samurai would towards his master.

" Sensei. I'm ready to learn."
