'It' is the source of it all, 'it' is a powerful entity that brought forth an immense war of endless chaos and bloodshed, 'it' is an extremely sadistic, monstrous creature that only wishes to kill and cause chaos. What is 'it' you ask? Well, 'it' is normally called Dark Magic. Dark Magic is an entity created by Lucifer to differ normal and unworthy demons from the downright evil ones by heavily enhancing the evil ones with an almost steroid type of magic. This was initially to give Lucifer the push they need to return to heaven and get the revenge they rightfully deserve for being forcefully removed. Lucifer even had wishes to take it over and control both heaven and hell. However, something unexpected occurred when preparing for that dream. Dark magic became extremely intelligent, something that wasn't planned but rather an unwanted side effect.
Dark Magic wishes to overthrow every entity in the world from Humans to Demons to Gods themselves. But even with this goal completed on Earth, Dark Magic isn't satisfied. Its bloodthirst continued to grow and yearn for the death of others and the screams associated with it. With nothing left of the life that use to reside within heaven, hell, and earth itself- the Dark Magic turns to a different planet filled of life.

"Alright!" The blue hedgehog rubbed his nose with his usual cocky grin. This mobian has always been the lovable friend to many and the savior to various animals and creatures inhabiting the planet he's within: Planet Mobius. With him successfully fending off Eggman for yet another ten years, he thought to start the day with a daily run. Within moments he became a blur that ran through green hills. He can't help but like the sight of the beautiful scenery around him, of nature in its perfection and collecting loose rings on the way.
The hedgehog skids to a halt on top of a hill as he notices an oddity in the distance. Sonic moves his hand over his brow, then he narrows his eyes while leaning forward. "Huh, that's odd." In the distance is a warp ring. Now that by itself isn't strange and isn't that worth the attention, but the strange thing is not its existence but rather it's color. The warp ring is an ominous red. Sonic looked quizzical. "Ha! Oh well, let's see what's inside." The bored hedgehog shrugs before running straight to the warp ring. He wanted to investigate it and report his findings to Tails later. Unknowingly to him, this is his fatal mistake.
He skids to a stop when he's by the warp ring. Despite being a courageous person, he could feel that something is extremely wrong with this warp ring- it's a bit off-putting. Sensing the abnormalities, Sonic assumed it's something of Eggman's work so without hesitation he jumps through the warp ring. But instead of being teleported somewhere, the warp ring disappears, and he falls down on the other side of where the ring use to be. It's as if the ring wasn't an actual thing and instead a figment of his imagination.
"Huh....Okay?.." Sonic muttered as he looked around to double check his surroundings. He suspected this is Eggman's trickery in play, but that thought was interrupted by a deep, malicious voice in his mind.
"A promising specimen...you'll do." The voice said before Sonic howled in pain. He became overwhelmed with an extreme weakness throughout his body, causing him collapse face first into the ground. His body goes limp and twitchy while Sonic's life force rapidly drains from him. This is when his body began to suffer vicious changes. There's a pain rooted deep within his eyes, his blue spikes darkening, his nails growing to sharp claws, his jaw becoming unhinged, his teeth enlarging as well as sharpening, skin across his body uncomfortably stretching and tearing, and his limbs growing longer to where he's taller than Eggman. His howls and breath go silent as life faded from his body completely.
Rising from the ground came a 6ft tall, deformed and withering hedgehog, twitching and heaving in their new state. The crave, the yearn, the need to satiate and feed his ever-growing bloodlust made him excited. He could tell the life in this planet is plentiful. "So many souls to play with...so little time..." A deep echoed laughter comes off of him before he steps through green hill, eyeing the various small critters who looked terrified of a monster who had the face of a familiar hero. "Don't you agree?" He asked them. Their survival instincts kicked in and they fled, or at least...attempted to.
With newfound stretchiness, the demon's arm grew, he sweeps up an escaping sky-blue rabbit, closing his hand and piercing the rabbit with all five of his fingers. Blood spewed onto his gloved hand as the body went limp instantly. Tossing the small carcass aside to bleed out on the ground, he continues his hunt. "Where are you~?" The demonic entity sang. "Come out and play~"
The small petite critters trembled in terror in their hiding spots, the soft thud and padding of his walking ringing in their sensitive ears. They tried to keep quiet despite their bodily urge to whimper in fear. Hiding in a hole was a small chicken, one who released a shaky exhale when they managed to successfully hide. Just when they felt safe, they felt a hot breath of air on their back followed by "I found you~" The chicken's eyes widen while their pupils shrink, they didn't get to react before letting out a pained animal cry. Looking down, the chicken would see a large claw through their body, holding them like food on a kabob. The demonic hedgehog pulls the chicken out of the hole, grasping onto the intestine and pulling it out of their body entirely, a shriek leaving the small animal before Sonic wraps the intestine around their neck and then around a nearby tree branch, causing the chicken to slowly cough and choke on their blood and lack of air.
Turning their head, the demonic entity notices a penguin attempting to run but being much slower than their small animal pals because the penguin could only waddle away. Tilting his head abnormally, the twitchy and bloody hedgehog approaches the whimpering and shaky animal. Raising his foot, the demon traps the penguin underneath his blood-stained shoe. The small animal cries out in fear and thrashes around, trying to escape but it was all for naught. Leaning down, the hedgehog grabs the penguin by the head, and he digs his claws into their neck before ripping the penguin's head off. He looks up at a green bird flying by. Their eyes locked before the bird panics and tries to fly away but the demon is faster. His jaw drops wide open, he bites at the bird as it turns around. His large teeth penetrate their body and kills them instantly. His bottom jaw drops, causing the bird lodged in his top row of teeth to fall down to the ground. The penguin's head is dropped afterwards.
A hopping bunny is next, their method of getting away being obvious to this tall killer. Stepping closer, the demon raised his clawed hands and strikes the bunny with both arms at once. His strike tears off the bunny's arms and legs, causing the bunny to fall to the ground as a torso and head in a pool of their own blood. The bunny begins shrieking and wailing as blood spurges from the open wounds. The towering hedgehog steps forward until it's shadow casted over the bunny's, then with a swipe of his hand, the head comes off. Turning his head, he hears the quacking of a naive duck by the water. When the duck sees the intimidating appearance of the hedgehog approaching it, it defensively starts nipping at their ankles and legs, but the animal noticed there was no wincing. It looked up at the demon and once their eyes landed on his face, two claws pierce the Duck's eyes, going through its head. The claws raise up, pulling out the top of the duck's head with mangled brains. The carcass falls over instantly, remnants of the guts and blood drip off of the gloved hand.
Despite the quick and easy kills, it wasn't enough. This abnormal entity originating from hell needs more. The itch to see life fade from their eyes, guts pouring out, blood gushing, and screams echoing the hills. Breathing deep breaths, he continues walking around, playing a game of Hide n Seek with the small critters.
"Hey Amy, have you seen Sonic anywhere?" Tails asked with a concerned tone and expression as he looked over at the pink hedgehog. She perks and looks at Tails with a confused expression.
"No, why?" Amy replies.
"He ran off almost 2 hours ago and I can't find him anywhere! He's not at the chilidog stand or the house..." Tails says, thinking as he wondered if he missed anywhere.
"Did Eggman do something stupid again??" Amy inquires, Tails raises his head and shakes it at Amy.
"Eggman said he hasn't seen Sonic at all today and said he didn't do anything nefarious..." Tails says, looking down.
"What??" Hearing all this made Amy worry too. Even if Sonic was doing something, it's not like him to be gone for so long without attempting to let anyone know. With a soft smile, Amy reaches forward and pats Tails' shoulder. "Calm down Tails! We will find Sonic! He probably just found a warp ring; If we go to Green Hills and find one, we'll know where Sonic went!" Amy says optimistically.
"Oh! You're right! I'll grab my plane to get a bird's eye view!" Tails turns to run off but he stops and looks back at Amy. "Are you coming with me?"
"I am! Just meet me there." Amy says.
"Right!" Tails turns and runs to get his plane. Amy turns the other direction and runs off to Green Hills.
On the journey, the pink hedgehog hums, looking around for the blue blur she's had a crush on for years. "Sonic!" She calls out, hoping if he was asleep or something he'd come out. While calling out to Sonic, Amy begins reminiscing about clinging to Sonic and holding him close to her. She wondered today would finally be the day she's able to impress him. Her heart accelerated, wondering if he'd finally kiss her. Amy sighs in awe as she daydreams of a reality where Sonic dates her. But her dreams were mentally shattered as a foul and strong smell entered her nostrils. She cuts back to reality to process what she's smelling.
The scent was similar to intense iron combined with something really...nasty. Like something rotting or spoiled. She's never smelled something so abnormal out here. Out of curiosity, she follows the smell of rot and iron. Thats when her eyes catch something red. Her curious and confused expression changes to one of shock as her eyes land on a very disturbing sight. A large array of tiny animals, dead in various ways. Beheaded, torn apart, gutted, all immensely disturbing her. The flowers were torn and wilted, blood stained the grass and the sky had turned red.
She felt her body start to tremble at the sight of this sadist animal genocide. "Wh-what the...?" Her voice shook. "Wh...Who could have...?" Fear pumped through her body; she turns around to flee but she stops. Not just because her body wasn't working with her, but she realizes that if all these animals are dead, does that mean Sonic could be...? Her mind couldn't process that possibility. She's in active denial that Sonic could be dead by whatever monster had done this. Her care for Sonic surpassed her fear. She has to make sure he's okay. She has to. Gulping down the need to cry, she continues to run through the now Red Hills. She ran past the various corpses laid about and bleeding out, hanging from trees, and torn apart. Amy starts screaming out of fear. "Sonic!?!"
As she continued to run, she noticed that fog is beginning to set in, making it harder to look around. Tears welled up in Amy's eyes. "Sonic-!?" Her head was on a swivel, looking around so much and squinting to see through the fog that she almost got dizzy. Her head stops turning and she notices familiar blue quills. She stops running, exhaling a breath of relief as it soared through her shaky limbs. His back is facing her. "Sonic!! There you are!!" She shouted, a shaky smile appearing on her face. Despite the fact there's the remnants of an animal genocide around the two, she's immensely thankful that Sonic is okay and that someone so cheerful, courageous, righteous, and kind is here to save the day, like he always is!
"We need to get out of here!! We-...have to find out who did all this and get to safety! Wh-who...could even do something like this!?" Amy found herself ranting out of fear. She's never seen such abnormal cruelty before. She could tell whoever did this enjoyed it. Her green eyes look up at him. Sonic didn't reply to her or move an inch, that's when Amy's smile faded; something didn't feel right. It's as if he's oblivious to her. The feeling of relief is replaced with an intense feeling of dread. It felt like her throat is closing up and preventing her from speaking, she gulps thickly and forces herself to talk, her voice shaking again. "S-...Sonic?" Amy managed to stammer out, her voice much quieter than before. Sonic stays quiet and motionless.
Amy hesitates to speak and move. She couldn't explain this sensation of absolute uneasiness. Raising her foot, Amy manages to inch toward Sonic. Her breath is shallow, her pupils dilated, and her body is on high alert. She raises her hand as she moves closer and closer, the only sound the two could hear is the sound of her approaching yet nervous footsteps. It felt like weeks were going by, when only several seconds passed of Amy slowly closing the gap. Finally, Sonic was within arm's reach. Amy taps his shoulder before resting her hand there. "Oh, Hey Amy. What are you doing here?" He replies immediately. It sounded like there was a smile on his face. Amy sighs in relief, smiling some. She spoke, her voice shaking some as she spoke again.
"I-...Well, Tails and I have been looking for you..."
"Oh really? Well, you found me." Sonic replied, he still sounded so cheery. It's as if he's completely oblivious to the despair and bloodshed that happened around him. It put the pink hedgehog on edge. Amy tries to shake it off while she points behind her.
"We-...we-...we need to g-get out of here before whoever did all this comes back..." Amy says with a shaky voice.
"That's the thing... I am the one who caused this Amy..." Hearing Sonic say that, a sharp gasp escapes Amy, her pupils shaking as her body slowly followed. Her hand drops from his shoulder and to her side. Feeling fear, she takes a few steps back.
"S-Sonic-...that's not...possible...or-...funny..." Amy spoke, her brain in shock and in active denial of the possibility that Sonic did these extremely sadistic and inhumane things to the various animals he loves and has saved in the past. "Don't make jokes... like- that...you could never...you would never..." Amy's voice goes dry as her body freezes up. Even if she didn't want to believe it, she knew that it was the only logical explanation. Sonic turns to face Amy, locking eye contact with the fear frozen hedgehog.
"I did and you'll join me..." Sonic said those words confidently, Amy felt her heart beating in her ears as her foot slowly moves back. Sonic noticed her struggle to walk away. He begins to slowly approach her.
"Wh-....at..?" Amy could barely reply. This all felt like a nightmare, a very scary and vivid nightmare. "You don't mean that Sonic...this isn't like you at all. Just...earlier today we were eating together and reminiscing about- about being kids...Come to your senses...please..." The gap between them is slowly closing.
"Join me, Amy Rose..." Sonic says as he reaches his hands out to grab her, Amy shrieks and out of a fight or flight response, she pulls out her hammer and swings it at Sonic's face, causing him to fall over. Amy- who is horrified by her love interest acting like this- turns around and runs away. Behind her, Sonic's head started to twitch as a murderous smirk grows onto his face. "Oh....Amy...." She heard his demonic laughter in the distance. "Why are you running from me?"
"Go away!!" Amy screams out. Despite running away from Sonic, his voice was so clear, it was as if he was right next to her, or in her head.
"I thought you wanted to be with me forever Amy..." Sonic said in an almost mocking or teasing voice. "Don't you want this...?"
"Not anymore! Not like this! You're not Sonic anymore- you're...you're...!!!" Amy screams in shock as she keeps running. "A demon!!" She looks around frantically. It felt like the scenery wasn't changing even though she's been running. It's as if she's running in place.
"Oh Amy...." The demon starts laughing. Amy got worried he was running after her and catching up, or even worse, that she's not running anywhere. Amy turns her head and looks behind her. Her mouth fell agape as she saw a disturbing sight. Sonic's body is violently twitching and contorting, his body is starting to grow and change into a tall and heaving demon. This is a more monstrous form, a form that expresses the demon within him. Amy looks forward again, coming to an almost instant halt when she realized she ran past Sonic. But...how is that possible? Amy began to see visions of Sonic all around her. Unknowing to her, these are just hallucinations she's suffering from Sonic. These visions were paired with them speaking but they were overlapping over each other so she couldn't understand their words. It's all a part of his methods to torment her, and he loves to see her suffering. She felt sweat going down her face as her head goes back to being on a swivel. Her hands instinctively grasp at the sides of her head, it felt like she's going insane. Thats when she felt a grip around her neck, and she's lifted into the air. The excess voices stop, and Sonic looks at her with empty eyes. "You're too slow."
"Don't do this!!! Please!!! Let me go!!! Reconsider this!!! SONIC!!!" Amy begs as she kicks her feet, clawing at Sonic's hand to make him let go but her fighting amounted to nothing. It's all just fruitless flailing. The demon within the hedgehog knew this is an important person to the previous soul. It made his sadistic mind pondered and that's when he thought of it. His free hand reveals itself and his claws sharpen before striking at Amy. Amy screams in pain as the demon slowly and maliciously slices her body apart.
Her hands fall first, followed by bits of both of her arms. Then her legs are sliced apart, falling down and joining the pile of amputated limbs. He then slices at her quills, it falling to the ground before Sonic tilts his head at the dying Amy. She's crying feverishly, pain and terror are ingrained into her eyes. The remains of her body are trembling, struggling to stay alive as she bleeds horrendously. Sonic could just leave her to bleed out and die but, he has a better idea, an idea more attuned to his sadistic needs. Raising his bloodied hand, he inches it toward her left eye. "N-...no....No.." Amy could hardly speak out her pleas before screaming at the top of her lungs from Sonic thrusting his claws into her eyeball, forcefully tearing out that eye and dropping the torn-up mush into the pile of Amy's parts. She sobs, trembling and crying loudly as blood streaks down her cheek. The demon smiles, clearly getting a pleasure and high from her pain.
"You're right Amy..." The demon says as his free hand grasps at the top left side of her head. "I'm not Sonic...but, I'm not a demon either." The hand that's wrapped around her neck grabs the top right side of her head. "I..." His right hand's fingers grip into Amy's skin. "Am...." His left hand's fingers grip into Amy's skin. "God!" His hands go in opposite directions fast and with force, causing Amy's face to split in half, exposing her skull and blood spews all over Sonic. His demonic laughter is heard, echoing Green Hills as he drops what remains of Amy's body in the pile. But that's not enough. No, this demon is very intelligent. It knows there's further potential with this one then just killing her for his enjoyment. In fact, he could see a more enjoyable outcome if he explored her potential. Leaning down and holding out his hand over the pile of mutilated Amy, the demon began to execute his plan of corrupting her soul before she can move onto the next life. Some of the dark magic within the hedgehog seeps out and attaches to Amy's soul, then Sonic got to work. The next time Amy is seen, it won't be the Amy they once knew.
