HOW IT'S STARTED...HOW IT'S GOING...(PROLOGUE)

And just like that. Out of nowhere, an explosion occurred in outer space. It shook the entire universe and even caused a ripple in the dark matter the universe is made out of. It destroyed stars and shook several planets. Earth was no exception.

March 2042. Scientists around the globe investigated where and what that incident was. Most scientists hypothesized that it was a hypernova that occurs once every 50 years in a galaxy the size of the milky way. Others took the information to be superfluous. It hence became a warning passed down from every government and intelligence agency worldwide to prepare for the worst as scientists have already explained to the media the effects of a huge explosion across space. The media had to ban anybody who would share misconceptions about it on YouTube and any other social media platform that made mention about the end of the world or judgment day. At that moment, religious groups were tongue-tied and worked up. It was intense. Authorities had to ensure that there was no immediate panic from states. And to let the people know that everything was alright. And well…everything was alright…at first.

Weeks and months passed. And then it started. The first incident was recorded in Washington D.C. A young boy was seen flying next to an airplane so he could see his dad. Then a little girl in Amsterdam brought her toys to life. Then in Jamaica, CCTV cameras from the street light-stands could not detect an anonymous object. It was moving so fast. Rumors say that it was a young man who calls himself "Dot-dot-dot-tee-dot".

Doctors and psychiatrists performed several investigations and CT scans on these subjects and conducted numerous experiments. The final result was revealed. Anything they imagined, it simply would just turn out to be. It was hard to believe. But the results did not prove otherwise. And so, we called them the imaginations.

As more were emerging, the US decided to take them to a special training facility so that they could use their newfound abilities to help solve world problems. Other countries were not happy with this plan and so there was a global debate on this. Presidents worldwide gathered to discuss the situation and finally concluded. Three of the imaginations are to be placed in every continent. It was at this moment; super-heroes were born.

And since then… things have been better than they were. Education improvement. Done! People's needs. Met! Space or science exploration. Smooth and awesome! Technology. Advanced drastically! Money. Not a problem! The world was eventually becoming a better place because they simply imagined it to be, and acted accordingly to it. One person couldn't do all that alone. It would drain them. They needed to do it together. The imaginations were working day in and day out, saving lives and improving them. They made themselves superheroes when they were beating up bad guys who refuse to cooperate with their own imaginative power.

Movies. Talk shows. You name it. They were famous! But there was some incredible side effect towards the superheroes. The loved ones of each and every one of the imaginations gave a complaint about their sleeping hours. They had less of it. In fact, they were not sleeping at all. But anytime officials call them for a meeting to discuss their mental health, they mention that they are fine. And so, we presumed that they were good. They could always imagine themselves sleeping after all. For years, the world as we know it had reached a not-so-perfect utopia. And everything was normal.

And then all of a sudden, things just went berserk. Like. Total berserk. Their minds were slowly losing blood because they could not sleep. Their minds were creating toxins that were poisoning their neurons. Whatever they invented became corrupted. Their contrivances were taken the form of people's worst fears or evil entities.

Donovan Sharp, an astrophysicist, brought up a theory that the explosion that happened light years away must have emitted some sort of powerful dark energy mixed with strange matter; which was responsible for the rippling effect in outer-space and the movement of other celestial planets. This energy somehow traveled a million billion times fast towards the earth and has somehow affected the minds of the human race to develop illusions of their thinking...that is their imaginations. He said the more these illusions were made, the more the dark energy would be spreading to those who weren't exposed by it, and other people would also possess the same terrible powers that the initial ones had. Or even worse due to other unique conditions people have. It would pose a great threat if it wasn't stopped. But it was ignored. The next day, he disappeared out of nowhere.

Chaos was everywhere. But the government...was always one step ahead in these situations. The administration had already sent out their trained superhumans to take down the corrupted beings.

Paris, France:

An evil paranormal entity was absorbing souls from innocent families. It was confronted in an epic battle with Seismic, who is one of the government's trained subjects. He could scream circular waves so loud in enormous proportions and effects.

Cairo, Egypt:

A wicked prince known as Amenophis possesses the imagined power of the strongest gods of Egypt so he could rule the world with his vast army. But he is being pinned down by Leila Wit. She uses incredible and devastating mind-controlling abilities.

Johannesburg, South Africa:

A terrorist group has created a GTA state with buildings and cars and characters up above the city which is causing an increase in crime rate and the destruction of property and lives. It was being handled by Dot-dot-dot-tee-dot.

Canberra, Australia:

A huge poisonous bear was on a rampage, hunting down hunters and their children. Perpetual blew it away with his magnificent power blasts.

Tokyo, Japan:

An imagined anime world full of monsters and demons was terrorizing the city. On a highway, there was a young girl who was walking towards it whiles everyone else was running away. A giant monster almost the height of Godzilla was about to slam her. She stretched out her right hand and made a fast swipe in the air. In a matter of seconds, the giant monster was down and paralyzed. That was Fumiko, her powers were unknown.

Moscow, Russia:

Avraam, who served in the Russian army, was able to create portals from different timelines with his bare hands. He commanded the entities that came out of the portals to help him destroy the city after what fifteen years of serving the army did to him. Zuma, an African American, was handling that situation with his ability to be a ticking-time bomb.

Wilmington, Delaware:

Radio was absorbing electricity and any other radioactive material so he can become more powerful than anything he could imagine. Viren, our imaginary Hancock of the world, came flying in with his arms behind his back at incredible top speed. He wore no cape but a black and multi-colored hoodie and dark baggie jeans with white kicks and black gloves…

"You can't stop me Viren!" He charged himself up to the max. "I am unstoppable!". Radio landed probably the most devastating punch he has ever done on Viren. It caused a massive shock wave all over the area.

But Viren didn't even move. His left side of the hoodie got half-burnt.

"You know you're going to pay for a new one right?" Viren said.

Radio was just in shock.

Viren flipped the hood of his jacket back.

"I hope you're fast at counting" Viren's hands glowed white as he clenched his fists. "Because I'm going to punch you the price"

Wham!
