[Chapter:27][Can we go home already?]

"You said you wouldn't even get a 0.1 by hitting that machine! That was a lie, right? You just said that to make me feel better, right?"

"Not really?", I shook my head, "It wasn't the exact truth, but it wasn't a complete lie either."

"With my body reborn as a humanoid Dragon God, even if I'm extremely weak, I still have things like super strength, super speed, etc… . And since I had little to no control over it, those headpats I gave you might have ended up in a very different and gruesome manner."

Kuroneko recalled the moment as she shivered at the thought of what might have happened.

"So mom sealed my strength and speed, making me at that time barely stronger than the usual me. Even now, I only have a small portion of the strength unlocked."

Kuroneko slowly nodded, clearly not completely satisfied with my answer, but she let the matter rest after glaring at me cutely.

"You sure accepted having a new mother quickly huh…", Mikoto-chan whispered as Kaguya-chan tilted her head.

"So, your senses as a Dragon God helped you find them?"

"I don't think so?", Irene-can spoke before I could, "Although I'm not a Dragon, I know how sharp their senses can be. But I'm pretty sure Dragons can't sniff someone hiding in a fold in space out."

"They can't. And my senses were sealed by mom too."

I nodded in agreement.

"Then, how did you find them?"

I smirked at Rias-chan's question.

"What do you think I've been doing the last three days?"

"Sleeping."

"Napping."

"Dozing off."

"Snoring. Wait, actually, you don't snore much."

"Snoozing."

"Dreaming."

Everyone answered almost instantly, making me nod my head.

"Yes, I spent the last three days, except when I baked sweets and cookies for Ophis-chan and Koneko-chan or when you girls forced me awake for all kinds of useless stuff, sleeping. And using my new ability as well."

"Ah, right, of course.", Kaguya-chan sighed as she nodded, "I forgot your cheat ability of training and becoming stronger just by sleeping."

The girls, especially those who knew about my [Skill <<Sleep Learning>>], seemed to have gained enlightenment, while those that didn't know about it looked confused.

"What are you talking about?", Sona-chan asked with a tilt of her head, "What getting stronger by sleeping? Is that, like, a power from Great Red's bloodline or something?"

"Well, you can think of it like that."

Rias-chan shrugged while I nodded.

"If you would recall, I am able to do 'anything' in my dreams. I'm literally omnipotent there. And as long as it isn't a change brought about as a direct result of my influence, the growth I experience in my dreams is reflected in reality as well."

I started explaining a little about how absolutely OP I actually was.

"Well, the omnipotence part is actually incorrect. Or inaccurate, so to speak. I can 'almost' do anything I want. For example, with just a thought, I changed the environment in my dream to imitate that of the Dimensional Gap, a place with an extremely high energy density, the perfect place to train not only your body, but also your magic. Both your body and your mana will be constantly refined by the extreme pressure they experience in there. I'm actually disappointed more people don't train there."

"No, well…"

"Considering who live there…"

"And it's so dangerous, probably only those desperate for power would be crazy enough to go there for training…"

"Not to mention, if someone has enough strength to enter the Dimensional Gap, they would already be quite strong…"

I ignored their retorts as I continued…

"As I was saying, I could 'almost' do anything. So the first thing I did was make the most comfortable bed in existence and try to take a nap."

"…"

"Unfortunately, my mind was extremely active in that place, and even my special power of being able to sleep anywhere, anytime, anyhow, didn't work there. But if I wake up, I wouldn't be sleeping anymore, so I could only read books and train to pass time."

"Well that's a relief."

"I don't know how I'd feel if such a cheat-like power is used for…extra sleeping time…"

I sighed at their pessimistic thoughts. Pitiful, uncultured people, they don't even know the greatness of sleep…

*cough*

Anyway, I'm getting side-tracked.

"I could, however, change the passage of time. Not entirely, making it so a day here is a year there, or a second here is a venture in my dreams. That's why I'm not 'completely omnipotent'. But I can change the flow of time up to a factor of 10, making it so the time in my dreams passed either 10 times slower, or 10 times faster."

"…"

The girls looked at me with surprised and shocked expressions, especially the relatively strong ones who knew what the extended time meant.

"You mean…"

"It wasn't 30 days, but I more or less had the opportunity of training all sorts of things for around 20+ days. Which, thanks to my talent…"

The faces of the girls who knew of Cael's blessing, not the details but certainly a little of its ridiculous effects, scrunched up. Yup, that's the sweet, sweet scent of envy I'm smelling.

"…and the fact that I can literally make the perfect conditions for training, means I'm pretty strong now. But that's not the issue. Since I spent so many days training in high-energy places like the Dimensional Gap, obviously, my 'sensitivity' to energy increased drastically."

"Ah, so that's how you found them."

Irene-chan clapped her hand with her fist as Kaguya-chan nodded thoughtfully.

"You sensed the mana they used to spy on us…and from that, tracked their position to where they were…or weren't?"

"The track disappeared mid-space, so it didn't take much thinking, really." I shrugged lightly, "Then, I figured it was a good time to catch whoever it was that was peeking at us, and asked you to act. And I have to say, I never really believed the words that women are born actors, but I'm starting to think otherwise."

The girls merely chuckled at my words as they looked at each other.

"So what's going to happen to him?"

"I don't know.", Rias-chan shrugged in response to Mikoto-chan's question, "Although he peeked at a Satan's sister, and others, and is also suspected of some crimes, there isn't any actual evidence about him. At most, he might be interrogated a little, which I doubt would work, and then let go."

"Well, at least this will put him on the Devils' radar, and he won't be able to remain all mysterious and all."

Everyone nodded to Tsunade-chan's words. Indeed, one of the most dangerous things in any world is the unknown. Look at DxD itself, for instance. For any other person, who only knew of the different kinds of races that live in the world, their conflicts, world-ending powers, and so on, would have a heart attack.

But if you were to know the entire plot of DxD? Things become much simpler and much less scary. Especially considering how one of the most powerful powerhouses is an adorable little loli with a sweet tooth.

"Well, it's time to go home for real though."

Kuroneko said, and the others nodded as they looked at Rias-chan, Sona-chan, and their peerage members.

Oh, and Ophis-chan who had been sitting on my lap the whole time. She actually hadn't left the ORC building since the time she came.

Looking at Ophis-chan, I actually felt a little curious. Great Red is, like, her nemesis, her archenemy, in her opinion, at least.

Whereas, as far as I and anyone with eyes could tell, she is pretty attached to me, who is technically Great Red's son. I even called her mom right in front of her, yet she didn't give much of a reaction.

I wonder what she really thinks about me? Hmm…food for thought.
