"…huh?"

I blinked in confusion as my mind went blank for a moment. Yet I was forced awake as what appeared to be a ripple in space, not that I would know what a ripple in space would actually look like, appeared right in front of me.

"Quickly make way.", I say, before everyone around me backed away. It was the first time the Group gave 'summon' rewards, after all, who knows what might happen.

Then, the ripples disappeared, and two little girls appeared instead.

"…ah, now I remember."

I hit my palm with my fist with a *pon*, looking like a typical anime character gaining enlightenment, as I recalled the two.

"Well now, to think that people, or in this case…Spirits? Or spirit-like beings…can be considered part of 'rewards' by the System…should I be alarmed?"

Kaguya-chan looked at the two thoughtfully as Irene-chan looked at me.

"Do you know them, Admin-san?"

"Ah, yes, I do.", I nod, "These two are Zashiki-Warashi, famous spirit-like beings that are said to search for houses of people who work hard. In the old days, merchants used to work the hardest, and it's said that the household where the Zashiki-Warashi visited would soon welcome prosperity. But they are also said to be cursed beings that bring ruin and misfortune, even though that's an incorrect statement."

"Hoh? Why is that?", Tsunade-chan asked curiously.

"It's because the Zashiki-Warashi only like people who work hard, as I said. They are spirits of good fortune, and bring good luck to those belonging to the household they visit. If they like how hardworking the residents of the household are, they will even stay for long periods of time."

"But this good luck can also be bad, since when man gets too much fortune…"

"Ah.", Kaguya-chan seemed to have realised it, as she nodded, "They would naturally stop working as hard as before, and the Zashiki-Warashi would leave their house. This would cause their fortune to disappear, but since people don't know the fortune was only there due to their existence…"

"…people would think the Zashiki-Warashi's visit to them brought them misfortune and ended their good luck instead."

Mikoto-chan finished the sentence as all eyes present locked on the two little girls curiously.

Wearing traditional kimonos, short in stature, one with white hair and the other with black hair, the two doll-like girls first look at each other, probably confirming one another's safety, then at their surroundings…

"!!!"

Before they appeared startled.

"Oh, right, most people in their world aren't capable of seeing them, except for the dead, the demons and gods, other spirits, and the like."

My words made them nod as Rias-chan spoke…

"Ah, I guess they only stay around normal humans most of the time, huh?"

The two Zashiki-Warashi look at everyone present, before their gazes get fixed on me.

"Hello?"

As I spoke, however, they suddenly vanished, turning into balls of light before shooting towards me and disappeared into my body.

"…?"

I tilted my head in confusion before looking at Kaguya-chan who had mysteriously appeared next to me, looking at me with a frown.

"Did your ability not work?", I ask, knowing full well that she had used her 'Time Stop' like ability to stop time the moment the two acted.

Although they were summons from the Group, they might still be dangerous, after all. Not to mention, their sudden actions startled me too.

"It did.", she nodded, "I let them be since they showed zero hostility, but…"

"It's fine. They were just shy."

Now that the two were in me, which sounded extremely weird, I could 'feel' their shyness from being stared at.

"In another timeline, they would take several days to weeks to get accustomed to people being able to notice them and greet them whenever they pass by. And I suppose the Group made something like a connection between me and them, although I can't sense anything."

I shrugged as I looked at the girls.

"Let's ignore them for now, talking about them would only make them more embarrassed to come out. They aren't harmful anyway."

Based on what I knew about them, at least, the Zashiki-Warashi were quite harmless.

"Now then, moving on…"

I open the fourth gift box as the girls gather around me.

"Oh?"

I looked at the 'skill' I got as I went through the information and knowledge about the skill which surfaced within my mind, as though it had always been there…

"Ooooh!"

And I couldn't help but exclaim as my eyes shone.

"Eh, what?"

"Huh…what's gotten you so excited?"

The girls looked at me curiously, but rather than replying, I simply swiped the screen to bring the description of what I got.

Then, without further ado, I tossed the girls my smartphone and quickly went to the sofa and laid on it.

"…"

"Woah…he actually fell asleep in an instant…"

"He really wasn't joking when he said his superpower was being able to sleep anywhere, anytime…"

The girls looked at each other before chuckling softly. At that moment, Kuroneko, who had caught the smartphone I had tossed, exclaimed.

"Ah…no wonder he's so excited."

She showed the curious onlookers the description visible on the screen.

[Skill <<Sleep Learning>]

Description : The user is capable of learning while asleep. The skill brings the user into a 'Dream' wherein the user appears as an avatar of themselves, intricately linked to their real body, mind, and soul. The user would be capable of doing whatever they wish to within this 'Dream', even manipulating the 'Dream' on an omnipotent scale. The only limitation is that they cannot directly affect themselves or bring about changes to their avatar. However, that is just the 'Sleep' part of the skill.

The 'Learning' part comes in when all changes made to the user's avatar without usage of their power to control the 'Dream World' are directly reflected onto their real body, mind, and soul. Training, gaining new knowledge, practicing skills…anything and everything done by their own efforts will have the results reflected on their real selves, all the while enjoying the pleasure of sleep.

This skill has often been called the 'wet dream of all slackers'. The creator of this skill also sorely wishes to possess it, and laments its impossibility dearly.

The girls looked at the figure on the sofa as Kaguya-chan tilted her head thoughtfully.

"As expected of Admin-san, the sole man in an all-girls group. His luck is beyond understanding."

The girls couldn't help but nod in agreement.
