35 Chapter :-35 Why Won't You Go Down!!!!....

A long-white haired lady wearing Red Kimono gazed towards the once beautiful and magnificent Inner-Shrine which now lay in ruins due to the intense struggle going inside the place. Her red eyes held worry and concern along with slight fear as she saw a bright yellow colored explosion, destroying the southern wall of the Shrine.

"Please be alright master...."

A warm hand patted her shoulder as she felt the warmth enter her body.

"My brother won't go down just yet...."

Another white-haired woman with green intoxicating eyes also directed her gaze towards the site of the explosion. Calm and steady eyes with hidden worry and confidence looked at the clash between her youngest brother and a Goddess.

Her hair held a shade of silver which differentiated the two women, the natural grace and elegance were also superior within her when compared to the other woman.

The symbol ᒥ M ᒧ on the back of her Yukata was clear to see even in the dark night. The eldest of the Mikaelson siblings, the immortal witch, Freya Mikaelson. The eldest sister who loved her family more than anything in the universe, a witch who would go to any lengths to ensure the safety of her family.

ᒥ....Family defines you even if it does demand sacrifice. My entire life I have longed for what you have. It is better to at least glimpse it facing death than run forever and know nothing of family....ᒧ

Freya was maintaining the barrier around the Inner-shrine so to prevent anyone from knowing what was going on inside the shrine and also to prevent any human from entering the battlefield.

Kiyohime stood guard, protecting Freya from any and every kind of danger that may disturb her or disrupt her cloaking magic.

The huge spikes at certain intervals of times were clearly felt by Freya along with the ever-decreasing divine-power of the Sun-Goddess.

Suddenly, she felt the power of the Goddess spike at a high level followed by an even higher spike in power by Henrik.

*Crash*

"What the hell!?.."

A high Okami broke through the western wall of the shrine as it lay on the ground seemingly injured as it's size rapidly decreased before it became half of what it uses to be.

"That is Amaterasu's true form, every God has a representation and Amaterasu's representation in the legends in closely linked to Okami."

"The legends describe how the white wolf Shiranui and swordsman Nagi fought and sealed the eight-headed demon Orochi at the cave, to save Kamiki Village and Nagi's beloved maiden Nami."

"Nagi's descendant and self-proclaimed greatest warrior, Susanoo, refuses to believe in Nagi's legend and frees Orochi, who escapes and curses the lands, sapping the life from Nippon."

"Sakuya, the wood sprite and guardian of Kamiki Village, calls forth Amaterasu, the sun goddess, known to the villagers as the reincarnation of the white wolf Shiranui, and asks her to remove the curse that covers the land. Accompanied by the artist Issun (an inch-high creature known as a Poncle), Amaterasu begins to restore the land to its normal state."

"Throughout her journey, Amaterasu confronts Waka, a handsome and strange but powerful individual who seems to have the gift of foresight and further teases Amaterasu and Issun to his own mysterious ends. Additionally, Amaterasu locates several Celestial Gods hidden in constellations, who bestow upon her their powers of the Celestial Brush to aid in her quest."

"After Amaterasu and Susanoo defeat Orochi to save Kushi, recreating past events, Orochi's spirit floats northward. Amaterasu and Issun embark on a journey across Nippon, first arriving at Ryoshima Coast and Sei-An City, the capital of Nippon. There, they work with the beautiful priestess Rao, the legendary submarine the Dragon Kingdom, and the reclusive Queen Himiko to rid the coastline and city of Orochi's influence, including destroying a demonic plague and retrieving a mystical weapon from a sunken trading ship."

"However, it is revealed that the real Rao was killed before Amaterasu arrived, and the Rao they had been working with was the demonic fox god, Ninetails, who murders Himiko before returning to her fortress on the elusive Oni Island. Amaterasu and Issun eventually find and kill Ninetails, noticing that her spirit, like Orochi's, travels to the icy northern island of Kamui. The two decide to travel northward to find the source of the demons."

"In Kamui, Amaterasu assists the Oina tribe to defeat two recently revived demons, Lechku and Nechku, who were creating a deadly blizzard that threatened to destroy the island. In addition to this, Amaterasu discovers that Issun ran away from his home of Ponc'tan to escape his responsibility of being a Celestial Envoy—a messenger of the gods—and his abusive grandfather."

"After defeating Lechku and Nechku, Amaterasu discovers the wreckage of a flying ship made of iron: the "Ark of Yamato", trapped in the frozen plains of Kamui."

"Waka appears and reveals himself to be a member of the Moon Tribe, a long-living race who used the Ark to sail and escape from the Celestial Plain that Orochi invaded. The demons attacked and killed the rest of the Celestials before the Ark fell to earth, releasing the demons upon the mortal world."

"After defeating the spirits of the felled demons again at the Ark, Amaterasu confronts Yami, the machine-esque leader of the demons who led the genocide of the gods ages ago. After a long battle, Yami drains her power and leaves her as a plain white wolf also nearly destroys the Celestial Gods. Before it can do so, Issun, finally accepting his role as a Celestial Envoy, encourages all those they have helped to send their thoughts and prayers to Amaterasu, who regains her powers and defeats Yami, ridding Nippon of all demons. Amaterasu and Waka take control of the Ark and sail back to the Celestial Plain, determined to rebuild the land of the gods."

"Her true form became a White-wolf after her legend turned into crystallized form and turned into reality."

"She is a lot stronger in this form but she is losing divine-power rapidly do to the damage sustained by her divine-core."

"Looks like Henrik had flung the wolf out of the shrine..."

But the smile on Freya's face turned into a frown as she felt the decrease in Henrik's power. The giant beast stood up from the ground and entered the shrine once again.

Freya could feel a sudden spike in Amaterasu's divine power.

ᒥ....Please be safe brother....ᒧ

Suddenly Henrik's energy disappeared but before Freya could say anything, extremely enormous and malicious energy pressed against her and Kiyohime's body.

The sheer power and malicious intent froze both of them due to the innate fear this power brought forth.

ᒥ....What is that!??....ᒧ

The whole Inner-shrine was drowned in black colored energy which originated from Henrik as the center.

ᒥ....Henrik....ᒧ

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Black colored aura surrounded Henrik's body, generally, the [Force] is invisible to those who can't use it but the aura around Henrik could be seen by even a non-user.
It made it all the more terrifying for those who could now see it. The huge [Force] was filled with malicious intent which surged forward like a poisonous snake. The whole Inner-shrine was drowned in the outflow of this energy.
The giant beast had to take a few steps back due to the immense power emitted by Henrik.
ᒥ....But how? A few moments ago, all of his power had visibly diminished so how can he produce so much power....ᒧ
ᒥ....What is this dark power?....ᒧ
Henrik didn't want to use [Hatsu], it was the last of the basic techniques of [Force] but it's true strength vastly surpassed that of even the advanced techniques. The stress and power consumption of this technique were vastly greater than any other technique.
But in order to defeat the Sun-Goddess, he had to go all out. He couldn't maintain this technique for a prolonged period of time thus he had to act fast.
Henrik raised his head and gazed towards the giant wolf with a flat gaze.
"[100-type Guanyin bodhisattva]...."
By utilizing his [Force], he is capable of making his attacks seem as if they had come from another dimension due to their incredible speed. When activated, Henrik emits a gigantic multi-armed statue of the Guanyin Bodhisattva using his aura. The arms on the statue strike down upon their targets in conjunction with Henrik's Will.
A huge construct made up of pure [Force] formed behind Henrik. The giant golden-statue with multiple arms stood tall, hulking over even a full-sized Okami. The suffocating aura released by the statue caused Amaterasu to hold her breath. The height of the construct nearly touched the ceiling.
"I didn't want to use this but you leave me with no choice."
"[Ninety-Ninth Hand]...."
Ninety-Ninth Hand: Henrik makes a sign with his hands that looks like the number ninety-nine. Afterward, the multi-armed Bodhisattva hits the opponent with open palms multiple times in an instant to inflict massive damage.
Henrik didn't want to use [Hatsu], a person's [Hatsu] was based on the user's personality. Henrik's [Hatsu] was maybe the most malicious aura that existed in this world. All the negative emotions he left formed his [Hatsu] while the golden construct represented what little positive emotions he had before he was killed.
As much as Henrik wanted to use this power, the fact that it represented his suffering and the torment those spirits put him through was evident. He wasn't ready to show this part of his heart to anyone yet.
But to defeat the Sun-goddess,
He had to.
He had no choice.
Just like back then.
The golden palms descended like meteorites upon the Goddess and smashed into her body. All the arms of the construct rained hell upon the Okami as the whole Inner-shrine trembled as if an earthquake had attacked the land of God.
If not for the insane durability of the body of a God, the construct would have turned the Sun-Goddess into a meat patty.
The ground broke apart under the constant barrage of palms while the partially collapsed ceiling finally broke apart.
The barrage continued for a few moments until Henrik ran out of his [Force], the giant statue disappeared while Henrik collapsed on one knee.
All of the [Force] that Henrik could command was finally exhausted, he couldn't even focus using [Force].
*Huff*
*Huff*
*Huff*
Beads of sweat mixed with blood flowed from various parts of Henrik's exhausted body. He stood up with great effort and started staggering towards the crater formed by the might of his attack.
*Clatter*
Hearing the sound coming from the crater, he stopped moving and just starred in front of him. Soon a bloodied figure entered his view, golden blood covered her head and face while her yellow Yukata was torn and bruised from many places.
The figure limped its way out of the crater. Henrik stared wide-eyed towards the bloodied Amaterasu who was walking towards him, all bruised up.
A sudden rush of angry like never before flooded Henrik's heart as he roared in anger.
"WHY WON'T YOU GO DOWN!!!!!...."
*Cough*
*Cough*
Amaterasu spat out some blood before answering his question with a committed gaze.
"You killed my worshipers, you destroyed my shrine and lastly you killed my priestess. If I give up then it will be a great disrespect towards them."
"So I refuse to go down!!!..."
"Don't you dare act like you cared, if you did then you could have saved her life but you didn't!!....."
"I couldn't enter the mortal world due to the restrictions placed by the 'belief' of people. I couldn't save her, so now I wouldn't admit defeat and betray the belief she had in me until her final breath..."
"As a Goddess, I won't summit!!!...."
After saying so, Amaterasu started gathering the last bit of her energy into a small orb and launched it towards Henrik.
ᒥ....She won't give up?....ᒧ
ᒥ....She would avenge her worshipers?....ᒧ
ᒥ....She wouldn't betray their belief?....ᒧ
ᒥ....A God that cares about Humans?....ᒧ
The small orb headed towards Henrik who had snapped out of his thoughts and once again roared in anger.
"What utter rubbish!!!!...."
He placed his hand near his pendant and pulled out a 'Sword'. A sword with three cylinders, revolving in different directions. A sword that created the world. The [Sword of Rupture, Ea].
He slashes the small orb in half while activating a small portion of [Ea] power. The ancient crystal as its core shone with a red light as the black lines on its cylinders glowed crimson red.
The revolving cylinders blasted off a vortex of distorted space which completely destroyed Amaterasu's body along with the whole southern part of the Inner-Shrine.
The destruction of Amaterasu's body turned into golden-colored particles and flew inside Henrik's pendant. The mark on the back of his palm glowed for a moment before it became permanent.
Henrik felt a connection between Amaterasu and himself, the damage to the divine-core had caused her to enter deep sleep for a couple of years but her power when it wasn't being suppressed by the Black Grimoire which had closed itself mid-air and teleported back to Kiyohime's hands, was unfathomably vast and unending.
Henrik channeled a portion of her power to heal himself of his injuries but alas his clothes and mental fatigue couldn't be removed instantly.
Freya along with Kiyohime teleported in front of him as Kiyohime understood that he had won the battle after the black Grimoire returned to her.
"Little Henrik are you okay!!!..."
Freya immediately checked her little brother's condition and let out a sigh of relief after seeing that he wasn't hurt other than his cloak being burnt.
"I am done sister just a little tired that's all. Lets quickly leave this place along with the elites of the Gerard family and return home."
"Yeah, let's go before trouble arrives...."
