"Ugh I don't wanna," exclaimed both Rogue and Envie.

"It's going to be boring and lame, and most importantly I want a break from slicing and dicing everybody. Like damn, let me catch a break," Envie ranted while getting dressed for training. Wynter stared at her for what seemed like forever until she said, "I, for one, really don't care and they said we needed to join the New Year party. I'm just relaying the message so shut it please and let's start training."

"Fine but if I beat you in a sparring match, I get to pick your outfit," said Envie smirking. Wynter stared at her more with those green and brown eyes, until she finally smirked saying, "Fine but if I win you get me fluffy, white cat for new Year."

They agreed to the terms and went to the mat to start the match. Rouge sat down lifting weights with a tiny smile on her face amused by their childish act.

The fight started by the orange redhead sending a push kick to Wynter's stomach, which sent her stumbling back, but not on the floor. She charged forward and sent a jab straight to Envies left cheek and a right hook to her right cheek and knocked Envie on the floor. Envie got on her knees and pulled a double-leg takedown. Which sent Wynter to the floor on her back. Envie saw this as an opportunity and climbed on top of Wynter. Envie looked down on the struggling Wynter smiling down signaling that she had won. But Wynter only smiled back and kneed her in her back. Then, she switched and straddled Envies hips punched her in her stomach before choking her until she tapped out.

"You can give me my cat at the party freckles, bye now I'm going home," Wynter said walking out. "Uh, not fair I was going easy to make sure I didn't use my super strength on her," exclaimed Envie being sour about the loss. Rouge laughed and stopped lifting and dragged Envie out of the training facility with her so they can go home.

The Deadly Mers met up at the office in their outfits.

"Oh don't we all look good, lets head in and get this over with," said Envie rushing to go get home. Rogue and Envie only smiled and nodded and headed upstairs to the party.

They all walked in just to see their co-workers turn on the lights and scream, "Congrats!" "What the fuck," screamed Rogue and round-housed whoever was close to her. And that's when everyone went silent. "Well it was supposed to be a new years party in your teams honor for getting the most missions done this year and we decided to surprise you but I should have rethought that considering you are trained spies," explained Master Sergei as he signaled someone to take the knocked out person out the room.

"Oh well thanks and you apologize," said Envie to everybody and mostly to Rogue who just looked away embarrassed. She mumbled a small sorry, as everyone laughed it off and the party started.

Everyone was drinking, having fun, and mingling. Until Bailar- Deorro and Elvis Crespo started playing. Everyone had started dancing.

Everyone was dancing until the song ends and the one-minute countdown starts. "So where's my cat," Wynter had popped up out of nowhere next to Envie. "Yo you can't just do that I almost hit you and here I picked up the little furball this afternoon," stated Envie picking up the little cage that held an adorable white, furry cat. "Aww, I'm going to name him crème oh and than-" Wynter was about to thank her when everyone started counting down.
