Teddy helped him to settle in as they both sat down , sighing with frustration.
" Her brother. Mern that's just messed up". Teddy said as Steve gulped down alcohol.
" You see Ted, this is why you should stop chasing after that dream of yours. Girls and boys, no one is trust worthy these days so just don't have that dream . I would have probably died if I was in love with the slut". Steve chuckled as Teddy also filled up a cup with alcohol and drank.
Two hours later , Steve and Teddy still sat talking while they drunk profusely. They both had their issues. Steve wanted to be laid badly while Teddy wanted love which was hard to find.

Meanwhile somewhere inside the ocean a silver bright droplet had fallen from the sky . It was a memorial day for the mermaids of Ralia Kingdom. After 200years, their queen who was reincarnated due to an unfortunate death sat in her chamber with a bright smile, exposing her deep double dimples. The servants watched her with creepy gazes . How could she celebrate on such a day ? Yes it was memorial but definitely not a day to celebrate. She was no more a queen but rather a princess.
" Consider yourself dead" The mermaid princess said with a frown as she use her tail to swim up from her seat. The maids knew that she was referring to them.
" I had once died today so what? I want to celebrate it. If you have an issue about it you can leave this kingdom immediately or get escorted by the executioner !!". She shouted with anger. These mermaids do not know why she was happy.
She might have died but she took the sea evil sherman with her. She had killed him to save her people and this day made her proud and relieved. The servants bowed with fear as they immediately apologized . It was really a great sin to meddle in the matter of the princess.
" Princess Zelda " A maid rushed in with deep worry. Her eyes were full of fear as her tears mixed with the ocean.
" Speak" Zelda ordered with haste.
" The gem of Talisu . It disappeared ". The maid said with a shaky voice as Zelda eyes widened in shock.
" Disappear !! Disappear where ?" Zelda asked with worry now. That gem was locked so how come it disappeared. It was the life force of the kingdom. It was her heart piece . This what the only remain of her which they used in getting her reincarnated .
" We have to find it !!". Zelda shouted and began calling for all the guards to round up a search party. She also called the merman mages who performed chants to find it yet it was nowhere to be found.
" Summon the elders". She ordered and swam fast out of her chamber.
Zelda now sat on her thrown while the elder mermans sat with her. She was the only ruler of the kingdom . Her parents were no more and inorder to become a queen , she had to get married . That was something she was never ready to do. She had a husband in her previous life but he died with her. Honestly, she wasn't into him since it was an arranged marriage. Unfortunately for him, he couldn't be reincarnated along with her. She still governed as a princess and no one placed pressure on her to get married.
" I don't get this situation. It has never disappeared before. Why now . For more than hundred years , you all safe guarded this gem . Did someone open the box? What is the solution for this?" Zelda asked the elders , hoping for a solution but all they did was stay mute.
How hopeless ! She thought to herself and sighed before bowing her head with frustration.
" My lady. Our mages are never mistaken. They didn't find a trace of it in the ocean". One of the elders finally spoke to clear the boredom. Zelda looked up at him with a realization as she paddled her tail to stay upright. He was right. It wasn't in the ocean . Where was it then ?
