15 Chapter 15

After Deadpool completely lost his consciousness, Batman then proceeded on dragging Deadpool's slowly healing body back to his Batmobile.

Of course, not before completely tying him down, including his slowly regenerating limbs as no one knows better than him on how unpredictable Deadpool actually is.

Unpredictable and Dangerous. That's why Batman never stopped on antagonizing Deadpool for months! He is too dangerous to be left out on his own.

That, and also, he believes that Deadpool could change. He might have a few screw loose on his head, but Deadpool never killed any innocent people. Rather, he killed all the criminals he encountered.

Deadpool was a famous and known mercenary, but he had never accepted a job that includes destroying or taking innocent people's lives. So Batman thought of sending him to prison so that he could repent on his actions.

He was even planning about sending a Psychiatrist to Deadpool so that he could at least become normal in the head. He knows an old psychiatrist on his Bruce persona, so he thought that it will do.

After, securing Deadpool's body on his Batmobile, Batman then hopped onto the driver's seat and dashed away, leaving the completely destroyed abandoned building that Deadpool once treated as home.

He wanted to personally escort Deadpool to the Arkham Asylum because he was having this very bad feeling since earlier. He feels like something bad was going to happen, so instead of calling the police to take the unconscious Deadpool, Batman decided to send Deadpool to them personally.

Batman's batmobile sped up without stopping as he skillfully dodged a lot of obstacles as well as other vehicles on the road.

He already contacted Commissioner Gordon about his success on capturing Deadpool, so he expected a squad of Police to welcome him while he give the unconscious Deadpool to them.

Batman was already nearing at his destination and was just a kilometer away from Arkham, when he suddenly widened his eyes as he stopped his Batmobile in a hurry.

*Screech*

His Batmobile screeched as he stepped on the brakes to stop the car from going further. The tires of his Batmobile stopped but it was still dragged to the cemented road due to its momentum, creating tire marks on the road.

The batmobile moved for a bit while producing screeching sounds until all momentum was spent as it then stopped just inches away from a person that was standing on the center of the road without fear.

Raising his head, Batman could not help but curse inside his head after seeing who it was.

Opening the door on his Batmobile, Batman stepped out as he confronted the person that made him stopped.

"Amanda Waller. If I am just a little bit too late from stepping out on the brakes, you would have been hit head on. What are you doing blocking the road?" Batman asked in his usual deep voice, he didn't sound friendly at all.

The person or rather, the woman who was actually Amanda Waller, was a black woman with a very short curly hair. She was wearing a white-collared shirt under and a red long sleeve over it. She was also wearing a black skirt below and black sandals for her feet.

Glancing inside Batman's Batmobile, Amanda saw the unconscious Deadpool tied at the back and she could not help but smile as she then spoke in a slightly deep voice not befitting of a woman. "I could see that you already captured the recently famous mercenary".

Batman seriously looked at Amanda and said. "And what is it to you?"

Looking at Batman eye to eye, her eyes was devoid of any emotion that people called fear even after facing Batman as she then said in a straightforward manner. "He's coming with me". Amanda said as she pointed at the unconscious Deadpool inside Batman's Batmobile.

Shaking his head seriously, Batman replied. "I can't do that".

Hearing that, Amanda scoffed. "You can't? Why? Tell me".

"I am sending him to Arkham". Batman stated.

Amanda started to laugh mockingly after hearing that. "To where? To that prison where the Joker was uncountably held at? And to what? Escape? Hahaha, Batman, you are too funny. That doesn't suit you".

But Batman was still adamant. "He's going to Arkham".

Amanda lost her smile as she then started to make her point. "How many times did the Joker and other criminals escaped Arkham? Too many to count. How many times did the criminals from Bell Reve escaped? No one has escaped yet. Hell even Joker's girlfriend, Harley Quinn was still imprisoned there with no way out. Proving that even the Joker that escaped Arkham too many times couldn't even free her queen on my place".

Batman remained silent, but Amanda continued as she pointed at Deadpool. "And him, do you not realize how dangerous this person is? And you fucking want to send him to Arkham?! I am giving you better choices her Batman, let me have that guy so we are in peace. Or be a tough nut and bring that guy on Arkham just to escape tomorrow".

Batman frowned under his cowl as he looked behind him only to hear Deadpool mumbling to his sleep. "I'll fucking kill you".

Batman's frown deepened after hearing that.

Looking at the mumbling Deadpool, Amanda then said to Batman. "Bell Reve is a place where various Meta-Human was held at. We held importance on each and every prisoners inside it. And looking at this rather psychotic mercenary, he would surely kill everyone in Arkham. Don't you think so Batman? If anyone knows what he's really capable of, it was you".

Looking at the unresponsive Batman, Amanda smiled as she knew she already won. Clapping her hands two times, three-armored-black cars and one van then went out of their hiding spot and drove close to Amanda.

The door opened as various men in military uniform came out.

Gesturing with her eyes, Amanda ordered the men to take the unconscious Deadpool out of the Batmobile.

Batman didn't stop them as he just watched them take the unconscious Deadpool away.

Amanda has a point. If he did send Deadpool to Arkham, he would surely kill everyone there no matter how many times they inject him with the sleeping drug.

Arkham was guarded by normal people after all, so he thought that it might really be better to send Deadpool to a place where they specialize on holding off Meta-Humans like Deadpool.

Looking at Amanda, Batman begrudgingly took out the sleeping drug that he made and injected to Deadpool earlier as he showed it to Amanda.

"Inject this sleeping drug to him once again after an hour. More than an hour and he would really wake up to kill you all". Batman warned.

Amanda took the sleeping drug from Batman's hands as she smiled and thanked him.

"Just... never mind". Batman wanted to say more, but he gave up at the thought as he then hopped on his Batmobile and completely dashed away without warning.

Amanda looked at the unconscious Deadpool being dragged to the van as she also stared at Deadpool's slowly regenerating limbs with interest.
